Great location and I was starving. Got the salad Fiddick. Lettuce and spinach was very fresh. Walnuts, cheese and thinly sliced green apples were delicious. Turkey was ok. Great service. Not a truly Italian lunch, but good to hold me over until dinner.
My family and I really enjoyed this restaurant. Almost all of the staff were courteous. The hostess was especially sweet with helping my mom from her motorized wheelchair to a table. The waiter was kind enough to charge my phone to me. The ambiance is BEAUTIFUL and the food was tasty. The only negative was ONE male employee who decided to rush us to move the motorized wheelchairs as we left. Don't know where he came from or why his demeanor was so different from everyone else there. I hate that he turned a perfect dining experience into just a good one. It is taking a lot for me to not remove a star because of him.
Cozy joint for drinks and appetizers near the Pantheon in Piazza dei Carpettari. We had a Promenade spritz and classic spritz to start off the evening cocktails. Tried a sampler appetizer tray.
When I'm Rome you eat a lot of carbs-pizza, pasta, bread. I'm not complaining, but we needed a break. Ginger was refreshing on a hot day. The fruit bowl was delicious as were the sandwiches (we had smoked salmon and roast beef). The sandwiches could have used a little more by way of condiments, but delicious nonetheless. We went around noon on a weekday and walked right in. Service was quick, until we needed to pay (didn't know we could just go to the register). Worth the trip to either location.
Because this is in a central location near high-end shops, expect some high-end prices. Aside from that though, I think everything they're serving here, in addition to the lively/fruity atmosphere, was great! The menu is pretty extensive so you have lots to choose from. You definitely must get a smoothie, at the very least. The food was good as well. If I were in a big group, I'd likely push to get a big fruit bowl for the table. If it's scorching outside, would recommend seeking refuge with a table inside. There are some plugs on the walls if you need to charge your device.

We ordered the medio (20 euros) expecting some special fruits or interesting display/cutting techniques but instead got a small selection of very ordinary fruit...and were very dissapointed that the apple was bruised and the seeds/core not even removed. The rest of the meal was fairly priced and good with nice service.
The salads were very fresh and a wide variety! Fruit juices were delicious and the octopus dish was juicy and tender. It was kid friendly and the ambiance was bright and energetic. A wonderful place to meet up for lunch and then continue on with our trip.

The interior was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. It's also in the heart of Rome so it's the perfect place to stop by before roaming or afterwards. As a Los Angeles native, looking for other options than pasta, this was the perfect place to stop by and I really enjoyed my meal/ smoothie. I would definitely want to stop by if I'm in Rome again. Also, they have a great selection of wines and drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate).
We are Staying in Rome and doing what you do in Rome, eat pasta and Pizza! However even though eating our way through Rome with all the carbs you can get, my boyfriend and I wanted something a little lighter and healthier. Our virbo concierge recommended Ginger for us! Ginger was only a 10 minute walk from our apartment, which was AWESOME! The food tasted soooo good and my body was definitely thanking me for it! Ginger is based off of healthier options like fish, curry chicken, salads, smoothies, steaks etc. not your typical pasta and pizza Italian restaurant. It was refreshing! Almost has an LA vibe inside but still keeps its Italian touch! Rome is soooo HOT right now, so going to Ginger was just refreshing!
Good seating inside and outside available. We sat inside that absolutely has good ambiance. Staff was very attentive and brought whatever we asked. Good fresh juices. We ordered steak, vegan burger, and Pasta. Food is so so. Nothing to brag about but reason for only three star is because my daughter has upset stomach afterwards really bad. That usually give you bad feeling that you never return. Also for Rome this is average in my opinion.
We called to find out if they were serving breakfast and was told breakfast ends at 12pm. I told the lady we would get there like 5 pass and she said try to get here as close to 12 and we could still get breakfast. We arrived 12:02pm and explained to the hostess ( same person I spoke to on the phone ) that we called and wanted breakfast. She flatly said breakfast is over . We were asked inside or out and decided on inside . She walked away , no excuse me , I will seat you shortly. She returned shortly and seated us. Then came the waitress, very unpleasant and she was rushing us to order . However her salad recommendation was excellent. Overall the place was clean , nice decor , tasty food but poor service. Food 5 stars Decor 4.5 stars Service 1 star
This cafe was sooo cute! A friend recommend us to come here for breakfast, she ate here everyday for breakfast when she was on her vacation in italy. So my husband and I wanted to try it out. When we got there, it was packed!The inside was beautiful though. As we were seated we were handed menus and all of a sudden became overwhelmed with all of these different choices! We wanted to try so many different ones because they all sounded so good, but we eventually dialed it down to a couple. We ordered some smoothies as our drinks. As well as an omelette and pancakes for our main courses. Both of the fruit juices were fantastic! You could tell that the fruit was fresh. Once we got our breakfast, I thought it would be more impressive, but it really wasn't. My daughter complained that the pancakes weren't good and that they were spongy, even if you added the maple syrup to it, it didn't make it taste any better. The omelette however was fine, it's an average omelette that you, yourself would make at home. The juices were good though, I recommend coming here, but I think it would be best to order wisely when you pick what meal you want!

We stumbled upon this bar while we were walking back to our hotel. This is a very cute bar. We walked in and enjoyed their happy hour menu with some finger food snacks. The service was good and the staff were attentive. I had the hachiko drink, which was a nice and crisp long drink! read more
This place is pretty pricey for mediocre Italian food. Servers were rude and doesn't bother on checking their tables. Took 25 mins to get the bill and my wife was getting frustrated for the very slow service. Save your time eat somewhere else but if you want your time wasted then come and eat here. read more

A friend recommended this place after we mentioned we were in dire need for some fruits and veggies after carb-ing it Rome for the past few days. We ordered a salad, açai bowl, cured ham sandwich and a fruit platter as a light afternoon snack for two adults and two kids. The fruit platter was quite large (we ordered the small single serving one but it could have easily fed two) and it had a variety of tropical and local fruits - mango, passion fruit, papaya, melon, strawberries, pears and apples. The açai bowl was impressive and comparable to many of the ones I've had in California. The smoked salmon, avocado and olive salad was refreshing and just what we needed. Service was a bit slow. I noticed our salad and fruit platter sat on the counter for 10 minutes despite staff consistently walking past it even after taking notice (I seriously felt like going up to the counter and grabbing it myself). And I had to ask three times before someone brought me the bill. While service was sub par I would go back alone for the variety of salads available and the açai and fruit platter - just what I needed after eating a ton of pizza and pasta. read more

I don't write bad reviews very often, in fact, this was the only "1-star" experience we had in over 3 weeks traveling around Europe. Salmon tartar - This dish was really disgusting. I love all kinds of fish (and especially raw fish), even the "fishiest" of them like Uni, however, this was inedible. They soak the salmon in a dressing to try to mask the awful fishy, almost rotten taste and smell, but it still overpowered it. Quinoa Salad - It was edible but very bland, basically tasted like day old grocery store quinoa salad. Cured ham sandwich - It wasn't terrible, but they basically just hide lard on the inside and the mozzarella was incredibly dried out. Worst part is, we heard about 4 words total from our waitress. She picked up the salmon tartar we clearly hated (since there were only 2 bites missing) without saying a single word and you bet they still included it on the check. Speaking of which.. this tall manager looking guy brought us our check and stood over me without saying a word as I signed the €35 bill, as if he knew he'd just captured a victim and wanted to secure the money. Unless you're interested in overpriced bad food with terrible service, AVOID this place at all costs. It felt more like getting robbed than dining at a restaurant. read more
We came in the first week ginger was open. Some years ago. And realized a new proposal for Rome was happening! Its amazing to see how they kept the quality in the food (varieties of salumi and cheeses and juices) so good that ee forget the service that is kinda "relaxed" too much. Came here for lunch at around 1pm on a Monday. It was very busy but only 5min wait for table. Ambiance: clean, contemporary feel. Also had outdoor seating. Service: bit slow but kitchen churned out food quick Food #salmon over bed of rice: yumm, smaller portions #fosso salad: turkey slice, apple and goat cheese salad. Light and yummy. Not enough meat though #cod over purple potatoes and rice: cooked to perfection. Potatoes and rice undercooked #steak: kinda small, small spinach side was good Best thing here was their smoothies. The mango one was delicious and they use fresh fruits. Overall we had a good time but probably won't return due to small portions giving less value. read more

I loved this place. It was awesome to enjoy vegetables, fruit and grains after so much pasta, pizza and bread!!! We went for an early dinner about 7pm and it was packed. Service could have been a wee bit quicker but the meals were great. Healthy and satisfying. The pistachio Creme brûlée was yummy. They still had pastas but a little more interesting than most. Mojitos were delicious. We're going back for the fruit platters!! read more

The interior of this restaurant is so chic and beautiful! Service was good- fairly typical of all European service. I got the traditional pasta with tomato sauce and it was good as well. Not anything special but classic and filling! My friend ordered the Caccio e Pepe and it was amazing. The Ravioli is also very rich and delicious as well. Overall, not a bad meal! The next time I go I'm excited to try some of their smoothie/juice options read more

I love pasta. I love pizza. I love suppli, gelato and saltimbocca. But I do need a change sometime. I am happy about Ginger in that way, that I can have a salad in between all those carbs - but there are some flaws. We are living in a healthy world. A lot of salad places, cold-pressed juice bars etc there really are a lot of good places out there. Maybe not in Rome, but at least in other places. I really like the idea of Ginger. The space feels clean, airy and white. It is a bit chaotic though, but I can live with that. The salad I had was called 'Aurora'. Salad leaves, watermelon, goat cheese, mint, lemon and walnuts. Sounds simple, it is simple. A bit too simple. I paid 11€ for this, which I normally do very happily. I am used to pay double up for a good, good salad - this wasn't something special. Pretty tasty, but goat cheese is tasty on its own. The salad just did not have a clear line between its ingredients. Having said that, I would gladly come back in between all the cacio e pepe and vino. read more

Great place to stop while shopping in Tridente or visiting the Spanish steps. Clean, cool atmosphere, and good food. Definitely recommend the dried meats which are prominently on display inside. Our favorite was the prosciutto and melon! read more

Great fresh healthy food. The cheese and meat try rocked. Super fresh and plentiful in the meat area. Cheese portion was very small. The sandwiches where great and the fruit try was a fruit palace! The server had such an attitude, like it was a bother to assist us. We have been in Europe for 14 days and this was by far the rudest server. The food was amazing which is the only reason why I gave it 5 stars. read more

Very overall horrible experience. Cute area in the city but man. I really don't know how to describe this situation. Food was subpar. What really ticked me off was that my friend received his food a whole 72 minutes after my food. Yes, 72. I only knew because I was busy looking at my eventful morning pictures. Anyhow, it comes out. The poor guy is starving and starting chowing down. He looks at his plate and asks if linguini should be hard. We said no and it wasn't even cooked. Huge eye roll. They forgot to put our order in and then gave us an uncooked meal. Yeah, no. Bye. read more

Incredibly rude staff, inedible salumi and cheese plate. We were served mystery meat and stale baguette, despite their seemingly extensive selection in the display case. Don't waste your time or money with place, especially if your are American as they have quite the chip on their shoulder. read more

After watching a youtuber name Mimi Ikonn talked about how much she loved Ginger and the food they served here, I dragged my husband to this place. The decoration of this restaurant is definitely top-notched, but the food is definitely mediocre. I honestly, wouldn't come back. We order the mushroom bacon pasta, it was good, but so oily and greasy. The seafood orzo stench of old seafood, and did not taste or smelled fresh at at. Their cappuccino is ordinary, and did not satisfy. read more
