This wasn't just a cosmetic procedure for me... it was something I thought about for years and choosing the right surgeon felt deeply personal. Now that I'm on the other side of it, I can confidently say that Dr. Jason Roostaeian was the best possible choice. Dr. Jason performed my rhinoplasty on December 16, 2024, and I truly could not be more satisfied with the outcome. From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. Before meeting Dr. Jason, I had a consultation with another well-known surgeon in Beverly Hills. That consultation felt transactional, and I was immediately discouraged when he tried to upsell me on a chin implant I did not need. In contrast, my consultation with Dr. Jason felt thoughtful and collaborative. He took the time to listen carefully to my goals and concerns, and I left that appointment feeling confident I was in the right hands. His professionalism, sincerity, and artistic eye stood out instantly. As an Armenian woman, I came into this process with very specific concerns. I had a distinct ethnic nose and was not interested in a dramatic change or a generic, overdone result. I wanted a refined and natural look, with a less droopy tip, but it was important to me that my features remain true to who I am. Dr. Jason understood that completely. He took a highly tailored approach and delivered a result that is both elegant and authentic to my appearance. I still look like myself, just more confident and comfortable in my skin. The recovery process was incredibly manageable. My pain level never exceeded a 3 out of 10 and felt more like pressure than pain. The bruising and swelling were minimal, which speaks to the gentleness and precision of his technique. By day six, I felt well enough to leave the house without makeup, and remarkably, no one could tell I had surgery. When I said no bruising... I mean it! Functionally, the difference has been just as meaningful. I had a deviated septum that he corrected during the procedure, and my breathing is now at 100 percent. The surgery not only enhanced my appearance, it improved my daily quality of life. There is not a day that goes by where I do not appreciate the result. I was really terrified all my life of plastic surgery and when I was researching doctors it was…read moreeven worse because every time I spoke to an office I always felt like an agenda was being pushed or these crazy unbelievable results were being heavily pushed towards me. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. I was very worried about scarring because I had a breast reduction years ago and was never happy with those scars. His incision work is beautiful, precise, and seamless. One year after my first surgery, and about five months after my implant surgery, my scars are barely visible and continue to fade. Before choosing Dr. Da Lio, I had two other consultations. Once I met with him, I felt safe. He is kind, calm, professional, and clearly takes his work very seriously. During a frightening time, I felt seen, respected, and cared for. I was also worried about pain after surgery. The pain was much more manageable than I expected, and once I was home, I did not need to take any pain medication. That gave me so much peace of mind. I called Dr. Diaz's office to confirm if this was normal and if anything had happened to not achieve the perfect results expected. Dr. Diaz called and explained everything perfectly and removed all of my concerns. Dr. Diaz is truly one of the best plastic surgeons, and a rhinoplasty is like trying to do surgery on a moving target. To solve for the final 1% of my concern, I was invited to speak to him for a revision in the future if needed. This is all to say, he is truly the best and while 99.999% of his results are all home runs, sometimes very complex noses (like mine) have a slightly almost perfect result and that is OKAY!
