My first and second appointment was cancelled due to surgeries scheduled. However, I was able to see her on the third try. Parking at the Santa Monica location is horrendous. It was $17 for the first 15 minutes ..... who stays only 15 minutes ? The next charge is $35 max.... Which I paid. Uuugb that was the horrible part. The office is clean and big. The staff is very nice. The doctor has a beautiful and awesome bedside manner. Dr. Slack seems very caring. She knows her job and she doesn't sugarcoat the process. I'm so glad Dr. Curls referred me to her

I have the BRCA gene and a very strong family history of breast cancer. For me it wasn't a question…read moreof if but rather when I would get it... I've been lucky enough to have had great care at UCLA for screening and risk reduction. Once I was done having and being able to breastfeed my children, my first priority was a prophylactic double mastectomy to make sure I was reducing my risk to ensure I could be around for my kiddos. That was a no brainer. The harder choice? What type of reconstruction (or any at all) to have that fit my life. Enter Dr Slack. We had SO many conversations about the pros and cons of each options, how many procedures each would entail, and so much more. I am so so grateful I found Dr. Slack to be a true partner throughout this whole process. In the end I opted for a DIEP flap, where tissue from my stomach was used to reconstruct breasts, which included quite complex blood vessel attachment and subsequent revision to ensure the shape was natural. I cannot say enough great things about how happy I am to have natural tissue (my weight fluctuates and I have concerns about foreign substances in my body). My kids snuggle me and I am able to feel comfortable in my body. In the process I ended up with a bit of a mommy makeover where my belly skin was improved post pregnancy. I'm now almost two years post-op and am able to retain sensation and have continued losing weight and my body adjusts normally. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Slack's incredible surgical skills, bedside manner, follow up and more. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Slack for giving me the body and confidence I have today.

I've been putting off writing this review because, in a way, it makes everything feel even more…read morereal. This wasn't just a cosmetic procedure for me... it was something I thought about for years and choosing the right surgeon felt deeply personal. Now that I'm on the other side of it, I can confidently say that Dr. Jason Roostaeian was the best possible choice. Dr. Jason performed my rhinoplasty on December 16, 2024, and I truly could not be more satisfied with the outcome. From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. Before meeting Dr. Jason, I had a consultation with another well-known surgeon in Beverly Hills. That consultation felt transactional, and I was immediately discouraged when he tried to upsell me on a chin implant I did not need. In contrast, my consultation with Dr. Jason felt thoughtful and collaborative. He took the time to listen carefully to my goals and concerns, and I left that appointment feeling confident I was in the right hands. His professionalism, sincerity, and artistic eye stood out instantly. As an Armenian woman, I came into this process with very specific concerns. I had a distinct ethnic nose and was not interested in a dramatic change or a generic, overdone result. I wanted a refined and natural look, with a less droopy tip, but it was important to me that my features remain true to who I am. Dr. Jason understood that completely. He took a highly tailored approach and delivered a result that is both elegant and authentic to my appearance. I still look like myself, just more confident and comfortable in my skin. The recovery process was incredibly manageable. My pain level never exceeded a 3 out of 10 and felt more like pressure than pain. The bruising and swelling were minimal, which speaks to the gentleness and precision of his technique. By day six, I felt well enough to leave the house without makeup, and remarkably, no one could tell I had surgery. When I said no bruising... I mean it! Functionally, the difference has been just as meaningful. I had a deviated septum that he corrected during the procedure, and my breathing is now at 100 percent. The surgery not only enhanced my appearance, it improved my daily quality of life. There is not a day that goes by where I do not appreciate the result. Every time I look in the mirror, I am genuinely grateful. The most frequent compliment I receive is, "I can't even tell you had surgery," which is exactly what I hoped for. My nose ring is permanently off and I no longer need it, she speaks for herself. His staff also deserves recognition. From consultation through post-op care, every member of his team was kind, respectful, and professional. I never felt like just a number or rushed through the process. Their attention to detail and genuine care made the experience that much better. For anyone considering a rhinoplasty, especially those who are nervous about preserving their unique features, I cannot recommend Dr. Jason Roostaeian highly enough. His calming presence, ethical approach, and commitment to natural results truly set him apart. The photos speak for themselves, but the confidence I now carry says even more. Thank you Dr. Roostaeian. I am indelibly grateful in every way.

Dr. Kim's work immediately stood out to me, and at one point I realized that almost all of my inspiration photos were actually from his Instagram. That was when I knew it made more sense to travel to the surgeon whose work already matched exactly what I wanted. I started with an online consultation, then traveled for an in-person consultation, and eventually had surgery with him. From start to finish, Dr. Kim was absolutely fantastic. I had a very specific vision in my head: I wanted a fuller chest that still looked natural on my frame and could almost feel modest at the same time. I was very nervous about ending up too large or looking overly augmented, and he understood exactly what I meant. I am now 10 months post-op and I genuinely could not be happier. He got what I wanted to a T. The size, shape, and overall look feel completely right for me, and I'm so grateful I trusted his judgment. One of the things that made the experience especially reassuring as an out-of-town patient was how personally involved he is in the entire process. He handles everything from beginning to end, and he is the person I communicate with directly. He provides his phone number and email, answers questions incredibly quickly, and continues to follow up with me regularly even this far out from surgery. I never felt like I was being passed around or forgotten once the procedure was over. I trust Dr. Kim and his work completely. Traveling from Las Vegas required extra time, planning, and money, but I do not regret any of it. It was worth every single cent to go to the surgeon whose aesthetic I trusted and who made me feel taken care of throughout the entire process.

I was really terrified all my life of plastic surgery and when I was researching doctors it was…read moreeven worse because every time I spoke to an office I always felt like an agenda was being pushed or these crazy unbelievable results were being heavily pushed towards me. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. Thank you Dr Kim and team :')

I cannot recommend Dr. Andrew L. Da Lio highly enough…read more I had DCIS breast cancer and am BRCA1-positive. After my double mastectomy, Dr. Da Lio handled my breast reconstruction, including tissue expanders and later implant surgery. Dr. Da Lio's reconstruction work is truly exceptional. I was very worried about scarring because I had a breast reduction years ago and was never happy with those scars. His incision work is beautiful, precise, and seamless. One year after my first surgery, and about five months after my implant surgery, my scars are barely visible and continue to fade. Before choosing Dr. Da Lio, I had two other consultations. Once I met with him, I felt safe. He is kind, calm, professional, and clearly takes his work very seriously. During a frightening time, I felt seen, respected, and cared for. I was also worried about pain after surgery. The pain was much more manageable than I expected, and once I was home, I did not need to take any pain medication. That gave me so much peace of mind. He is an outstanding plastic and reconstructive surgeon, especially for breast reconstruction after mastectomy. His bedside manner, professionalism, surgical skill, and attention to detail are excellent. His team has also been wonderful. Molly and Letty were both kind, helpful, and responsive throughout the process. Molly was always cheerful and organized, and Letty was very kind and supportive. Their care made a difficult year feel much easier to manage. It has been a long journey, and I am deeply grateful that Dr. Da Lio has been part of my care and continues to be.

I first saw Dr. Da Lio in 2022 for a breast reduction consultation. I was told I was a "perfect…read morecandidate," but when my insurance denied the procedure, I felt like there was very little help or guidance with fighting the denial. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford the surgery without insurance, so I continued dealing with significant back and neck pain for the next few years. I decided to try again in 2025, hoping for a different experience. This time, Dr. Da Lio didn't even take photos or really discuss moving forward with a breast reduction. Instead, much of the appointment became about GLP-1 medications and losing weight. He repeatedly talked about his own experience taking them, which felt completely unrelated to why I was there. I left the appointment feeling frustrated, dismissed, and honestly pretty discouraged. Thankfully, I decided to get another opinion from a surgeon in Scottsdale, Arizona, who had been recommended by a friend. I am SO glad I did. The experience was night and day. My new surgeon was thoughtful, caring, listened to my concerns, and treated me like an actual person instead of just telling me to lose weight. I finally had my breast reduction on September 11 and went from an H cup to a C. I'm still recovering, but I'm already incredibly happy with my decision and only wish I had gone elsewhere sooner. Everything ultimately worked out for the best, but based on my experiences in both 2022 and 2025, I personally would not recommend Dr. Da Lio for a breast reduction consultation. There are surgeons out there who will listen to you, take your concerns seriously, and make you feel supported through the process.

Dr. Firouz is amazing; he listens to every concern and question I have. What I like most is that he wasn't pushy about sales. The other review is a person who has issues with Ucla and their administrative staff and not the doctor himself. It also blows my mind someone can leave a review on a public platform claiming they violated their HIPAA rights but they themselves are posting it publicly. You will or should never see a doctor respond to anyones good or bad comments as it violates the patients rights. I find it odd to review a doctor on yelp but I feel compelled to do so here. I am a cancer survivor going on 10 years. Cancer at a somewhat young age but after the lumpectomy, fertility treatments, chemo, bilateral mastectomy, lymph node removal etc. I underwent reconstruction and had implants put in which honestly never looked right. I then had the implants removed and felt better but looked like a stump of a person fat and flat. I was lucky enough to go see dr. Crisera and he and I talked about the DIEP Flap surgery how he takes my lower stomach fat and transfers it with vessels to my chest. It's a 6-12 hour surgery and mine took 9 hours.
