This is a great stop for a good cuppa. Reasonably friendly staff (busy but quick) often a 5 minute wait in the morning due to a line. Does have a nice buzz of activity while you wait. I love all of the clever 20 or so live plants in the decor ( as a plant guy). Location is great with plenty of parking to be found. Only negative is that the place isn't bigger with some sit down seating. My hope is that they will bust down the wall to the right and get the laundry mat out of there so that there is more room for seating or the line. read more

Gimme! Coffee is a coffee roaster local to Ithaca, New York that ships nationwide, but has a few physical locations in town. I visited their location just off the north end of the Cornell University campus. It can easily be missed due to the small signage outside the shop, but if you keep a look out for the exclamation point logo on the side of the building, it's easier to locate. They sell a variety of their coffee blends and quite a few pastries. It's such a small place that they do not have any tables to enjoy your food or drink purchase, so grab and go is pretty much your only choice. Service was quick and friendly. We got an Americano, a mocha, and a piece of their coffee cake. While none of them may win any awards, they were a solid substitute for Starbucks which doesn't have much of a presence in town (plus you're sporting a local business). While I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit Gimme! Coffee, it's worth a stop if you're in the area and in need of a caffeine fix. read more

The only location that I've ever been to and the Jasmine tea is delightful! I've also had lattes and hot chocolate and nothing has disappointed. The orange cranberry muffin was also tasty. I am not quite sure when things changed but they don't currently have any seating; it's pick up only. read more

There was a path I'd like to run along and on the way, I'd pass gimme coffee. One day, I decided to try it and I was very happy with that decision. I ordered a matcha latte and their cheddar chive scone. Although the latte was basically $7, it was one of the better matchas I've had. Not overly sweet, but flavorful and refreshing. Cute coffee shop with a lot of choices for coffees and teas. Clearly a local favorite. I just had a nice tea but my friends got more elaborate drinks and said they were very good. This storefront is really just a space to order and get your coffee to go, which was fine for us but means there isn't really any coffee shop vibe to come for. As a lover of Gimme! Coffee, this is one of my preferred locations. It's quite small but it's bright and feels quaint. They have the usual assortment of coffee and non-caffeinated beverages, pastries and snacks. Their espresso is always my favorite while my husband loves their cold brew. However, it's really sad that the locations in Ithaca are no longer doing pour overs. I guess it's been some years since they stopped. I love gimme!!! So their coffee and specialty drinks are obviously #onpoint but the unspoken heroes are the SCONES. My guy. Came to this beautiful gimme location tucked away on the northern end of campus (VERY accessible by the 30 TCAT bus) and had myself a latte with Kat milk, local honey, and cinnamon, and a cheddar bacon scone. Their scones are really on bar with those that you would find at a bakery specializing in scones - buttery, crumbly, falls apart, ACTUALLY tastes like the flavor (cheesy, meaty, in this case) and not just like sweet bread. So I had to finally try the ever famous gimme coffee all my friends rave about, and I have to say I was quite impressed. The decor is clean and cute, the guy behind the counter was friendly and knowledgeable, and the drink and food was spot on. I tried the Cortado drink (half espresso half milk) very strong but very good. I also had the apricot almond jam bar and chocolate dipped biscotti. The jam bar was amazing and super delicious, perfect mix of soft crumbles and apricot with a hard crust yet the biscotti left something to be desired. The prices are fair and the mood is quiet. Wasn't feeling the weird alien like music but besides that, it was a good experience. read more

This is a nice quiet gimme coffee spot to study with a large accessible bathroom. The coffee and snacks are great too.

Favorite. coffee. shop. ever. Their cappuccinos are my go-to and they have amazing savory scones, which I get every time. I have not been anywhere else in the area that has good savory scones. Their seasonal items are equally delicious. Also, some of their offerings do vary daily. So happy they opened up an additional storefront. Please get a stamp card because you will find yourself coming back multiple times! It is more of a get coffee and go place because they have limited seating though. But I generally stay when I do come so getting a seat is definitely possible! Customer service is great too. Everyone is so sweet. Will miss this place when I leave Ithaca! read more

I'm really really picky about my coffee and chai. But they have the best coffee and chai in Ithaca! Espresso drinks have great flavor and aroma. Also their salted maple layer is a must try, but try it with half sugar. Their chai is so flavorful and not super sweet. You can taste the black tea in the back of your throat. Oh and their pastries! This is our neighborhood coffee shop, and we absolutely love it. The baristas are consistently lovely and friendly people who make fantastic coffee. It's a great place to work (they have outlets and tables), and the cafe is cute and rarely crowded. Their pastry game is getting stronger and stronger, and they now have a huge selection of sweet and savory stuff that's really good (try the chocolate croissant or the morning glory muffin.) While it is a bit small and not ideal for long term studying, this added location for Gimme in the Community Corners area is wonderful! The espresso is velvety smooth.
