I don't normally leave reviews because my schedule is so busy, but I was so impressed with Gillette Heating & A/C that I had to write this review. Our Central A/C went out over the weekend. On Monday morning I called 5 different A/C service companies. I had to leave voicemails with the first two. The next two were going to charge me a "trip charge and diagnostic fee" of $129 and $149, respectively and that was going to be in addition to the repair. Luckily my 5th call was to Gillette Heating & A/C. My phone call was answered immediately and my first question was whether they had a trip charge and she explained that they charged $59 to send out a technician to diagnose the problem, but that the charge would be taken off if the repair was completed so I wouldn't have to pay that in addition to the repair. I was then told they could send someone out that same day. The technician that came out (Traven) called and sent a text prior to showing up so we could be prepared and he even showed up a little early. He was super friendly and very professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the part on hand, and had everything fixed within 20 minutes. I finally got call backs from the original two companies I contacted after Traven had already finished the job! I will recommend this company to everyone I know who is in need of heating & A/C services. read more

I really wish that there were 10 stars to rate this company because we have been so impressed with Gillette! When we needed a new furnace, we had company after company come and give us quotes. Many gave us a long list of things that needed to be done (aka more work=more money). When Gillette came, we talked about many of the things that other companies had told us. He gave us his opinion about what he thought was important and what he thought was unnecessary (which turned out that most of it was unnecessary). The installation of the furnace itself was fantastic. The two that put it in (the owner and a tech) spent much time carefully installing it right. I appreciated that they took the time to install it well. (They were not paid hourly). They came back a few days later to check on the furnace and to make a few more adjustments. We have since used them to do a tune up on the furnace in preparation for winter, and each time they have treated us like their own family. They are friendly, very reasonably priced, and punctual. They also have a high quality of work, and I will not only be referring my friends and family, but I'll also be returning to use them for any other heating & air needs. Thanks, Gillette! read more

After a fair amount of technical research to understand the differences between manufacturers and models, I collected a bunch of HVAC quotes for a complete system. Based on my research and their presentation, I noticed that each company salesman provided at least one important detail that the others neglected. The spread between the high and low bidder was greater than $7,000. Gillette was not the lowest bid, yet offered the best quality brand and model products for the best price. John, the salesman, was thorough and completed additional calculations to verify details that other company bidders simply guessed at, or never mentioned. The Gillette Heating and Air Conditioning install team -- Jesse Ipson, Trevor Kelly and Jordan Roper with a few others -- were fantastic! When unforeseen challenges surfaced, Jesse and the team were very receptive to brainstorming solutions with me versus simply saying it is impossible or cannot be done. Also, they deserve kudos for working late after dark to finish the job the same day. A few days later we requested a couple of minor changes, and they promptly fixed those to our complete satisfaction. I highly recommend the Gillette team! read more

My wife and I honestly can't thank Gillette enough for the wonderful job they provided. Even hours after they left we were talking about how glad we chose them after we received 2 other quotes. We are a newly married couple so figuring out that we needed a whole new furnace in our home made us a little sad just because that is more money out of our savings. However, not only was Gillette at least $600 cheaper than the other 2 quotes they were also very friendly on the phone and in person. They took time to explain everything to us thoroughly and they didn't even increase their quote when they had do a little additional effort in installing the furnace. They were up front with everything. What impressed us the most was when Shaun, the owner, hand delivered our space heater just to help keep our home warm before the installation took place. I'm building a home and called around for the best price for a new HVAC system. Gillette was the best price! I loved how Nina video-called with me to show me where all the duct work would be placed, arranging it so it wouldn't be as noticeable. Coltin and his team were very helpful as well; when I had a door being delivered, they happened to be there and helped the delivery man get it inside the house (his little forklift wouldn't work without concrete). Coltin video called as well to show me a joist that needed cutting for the system to be run and even labeled it on my floor plans to show my structural engineer and to get his permission to cut it. I am excited to be able to see how the many air return vents and air supply vents make a difference with air flow as I only have one air return vent in my house now. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Gillette Heating and A/C. Their bid to replace my furnace and A/C was much lower than competitors and with a five star Google rating, I felt good about having them do the job. When we agreed on an install day I told them I had to have it finished by 2:00 in the afternoon so I could get to a Dr. appointment I couldn't miss. To ensure that happened, they sent in two teams (4 techs) and they had me up and running by 12:30. In the middle of the install a small math error on the original invoice/contract was discovered, which was actually in my favor. They simply honored our original price and did not try to adjust my bill in the end. They were friendly, quick, and efficient and I feel like they went the extra mile to make sure I was a happy, satisfied customer. read more

I would recommend Gillette to everyone. My air conditioning went out and I called a 5 star company beginning with an "A" and they couldn't help me for several days. Then I moved to Gillette Heating and Air Conditioning. I was totally shocked when they said they could come that day. They even called to see if the repairman could come sooner. He arrived-found the problem within a matter of a few minutes and replaced the part. There diagnostic fee was $10 cheaper than the "A" company as well and it is waived after the problem is found! We Woke up to a furnace that wasn't working. I tend my tiny grand babies and the house was cold! Gillette was able to send out a technician the same day and it didn't cost me an arm an a leg! They showed me how to read the codes the furnace was telling me by watching the blinking lights.. like Morse code - only easier- It was a simple fix. They fixed the problem in 30 min and only charged me a 'service call' -can you believe it?! $60! I can't promise that you're experience will be that inexpensive.. but I can promise you they won't 'gouge' you when you're in a tough spot! Definitely recommend! read more

I love haveing Gillette as my service pros! They are on time and know how to get the job done, I called them out to my house when my AC went out and they found the problem within minutes, also they didn't charge me an arm and a leg for the parts that needed to be replaced. They let me know in easy steps on how to take care of my system to maintain an extended life and told me to always to reach out with any HVAC needs! The noise from the fan on our furnace and air conditioning unit was very annoying, especially to my wife. We contacted Gillette Heating and air conditioning for a solution. Ricardo and Nathan came out and suggested reducing the air flow directly coming from the blower vent and installing a new vent in the ceiling of the hall. They both came out today and installed a new ceiling vent, which solved the annoying noise. We are so happy and appreciative of their work and especially not being charged. read more

After receiving a quote from another HVAC company, I got a quote from Gillette Heating and Air. Their quote was not only less but I was able to get a better system than offered by another company which saved me at least one thousand dollars. Installation went great! Gillette installed a new heater/AC unit in November, 2023. I have had my thermostat malfunction twice since installation, and they had a service tech out same day both times and had me up and running within minutes of arrival.
