They gave us a quote from satellite photos and never even saw the rain damages which was the reason I reached out in the first place. When they said they couldn't reach the tenant, I immediately provided them with the photos and videos I had. The tenant also called them to follow up and was informed that nothing else was needed. Yet I had to email again days later to ask if the quote was ready. I emailed asking for someone to discuss / explain the quote to me and got a response asking for a time to call. I shared my availability and have not received any calls. I tried calling them yet there was no answer. Finally 2 weeks later we had to call another contractor come and take photos of all the rain damage and provide a proper quote. Then when I shared this review the owner immediately called me. I've attached the communication that started on the 8th of July. I would like them to provide me with the images and proof/report from the onside inspection they did. In one day, they ripped off the old shingles, replaced all the old plywood, and installed a beautiful new roof. They also did a great job cleaning up around the house. They were quick to respond a fix a portion that needed a little more care. They inspected one year later and called several times to make sure there were no issues. The schedule was delayed a day due to rain, however they arrived the following day right on time, and the entire process was completed in one day. My only nitpick is their trailer stayed on my property for 3 days after the work was completed, this was just an inconvenience. She attempted to deflect her company's negligence onto us, the homeowners, and she lost in court. This shady company unlikely has insurance coverage & is unlikely to honor any "warranty" as we've learned in court. In June 2024 we hired Klaus Roofing Systems to replace the railings, lining, & skylight hatch that provides access to our flat rooftop. A few days into the work, they removed the roof hatch which is over 4'x2', & didn't put the new one in. Instead they covered the hole with a tarp & went home for the night. Shortly after they left, a windy thunderstorm started & torrential rain came down all night. The tarp wasn't properly secured & the weight of the water collected made the tarp detach & all the water came down through our attic, soaking down through the floors, & damaged the ceiling of the bedroom directly underneath the attic. We got estimates to replace the ceiling damaged by water, ranging between $4,200-$6,300. We gave Nina more than 7 opportunities to compensate us for the damage. Nina claimed there was already water damage to the bedroom ceiling before they began work on our roof and refused to pay. And, after we requested compensation for the damages, Nina submitted an additional invoice for $3,200, which we refuted in court. Hence, we filed a lawsuit in Albany in SEP 2024. Two trial dates in FEB 2025 & NOV 2025. We received the final judgment in our favor in JAN 2026 for $4,200 for her company's negligence, 17 months later. We have requested payment from Nina/Klaus and she has NOT paid us as of the date of this review. Her mistakes have cost us 7 times more than the judgement awarded, due to a complete re-do needed of their unfinished work! Our roof is still leaking to this day! These people are super shady for drawing out our lawsuit for nearly 17 months! DO NOT HIRE!

We made the mistake of trusting him with a renovation of our late grandfathers cabin, and he has done nothing but destroy it, along with stealing $93910 worth of money and materials he stated we paid in full for. He will lie to you to the point where he can't even keep them straight. The second you question his integrity he becomes very defensive and angry. Luckily we are organized and have every interaction documented for our civil suit. He will cut corners to pocket more money, and make up "codes" to inflate your prices. He told us our kitchen cabinets had to be fire rated due to an Ulster County code....there is no such thing as a county code, let alone a NY State Code for this as confirmed by the code enforcement officer of our town. When we called to find out about these $24,000 cabinets (mind you we asked for unfinished in stock Home Depot cabinets to be painted) the code enforcement looked up our property only to find out there was NEVER ANY PERMITS FILED for the structural work done by Mr. Sisson. He had told us about interactions with the code officer, and how expensive and hard it was to obtain such permits. The code officer had never had a single interaction with Mr Sisson until the day she placed a stop work order on our property. When you ask for proof of receipts or orders he will not produce them, and will become instantly angry. He has an excuse and lie for everything, and will bully and blame you for all issues. He has removed structural beams, leaving our property unsafe with the risk of collapsing with the first snowfall. Estimates of work done by numerous other contractors deem his work unprofessional, sloppy, and subpar. The are all shocked to the point of laughing at what he's done. Everything needs to be ripped out and replaced due to his negligence. Do not trust this man with anything! Pictures below are of the work he performed, and the condition in which he left our property after being police escorted to get his tools. He had promised to exchange our materials the day he picked up his tools wih the officer....guess what, he brought nothing. We regret ever doing business with him, and we hope this review will prevent anyone from dealing with the headache Mr Sisson has brought upon our family.
