We have been with this hospital since 2019 and have had a variety of experiences but it all completely depends on the vet that you are with. Every single appointment we have had with Dr. Gilham has been truly awful, she does not read our pets history, has misdiagnosed her, claimed she had visible cancer masses then immediately tested her (surprise, they weren't cancerous) and pushed medications that our dog was allergic to that she previously prescribed. However, the appointments we have had with Dr. Stone have been truly incredible. She will get on the floor with your dog and shower them with love and attention and takes all of your concerns into consideration. She is truly amazing and I adore the care she gives to our animals. Dr. Lexi Meverden is newer to us but has been truly amazing as well. I cannot say enough good things about her or Dr. Gilbertson. read more

They simply do not care about the pets and it's simply all about the $$ especially with the new building. Had two 12 MONTH scripts written JUST 3 months ago for my two furry animals for heartworm meds . Went to fill the heartworm medicine and Red Barn DECLINED BOTH simply because ONLY ONE of them was due for heartworm test next month????? Just had them in on Feb. 27th for wellness exams and shots. Brought TWO fecal samples. Why didn't they test then like every other vet? The answer is because this way they could force us in again and their prices have increased. I didn't even realize they weren't done. WHY DID I GET TWO 12 MTH. SCRIPTS FOR INTERCEPTOR if they weren't done??? Who the heck do they think they are canceling BOTH scripts when only one dog is due? Who does that? This office "manager" and front office girls could give a crap about the pets. What were they going to do I was going to bring my one dog in and then they suddenly would give me two prescriptions one for each dog or were they going to force me to bring both in? I wouldn't go back to this place if you paid me in 10 months from April 2023 to February 2024 I spent over $3,800 with them. They should get rid of these women who could give a darn about the pets and get vet techs for the front office like all the other vets do. They're cheaper, less freaking attitude, and they love animals. This so-called office manager didn't comply when I requested the doctor call me and I could think of quite a few different ways she could handle this so much better which would have stayed within the guidelines of Red Barn but most importantly would have kept my pets heartworm medicine!!!!!! FOLLOW UP NOW 5 DAYS LATER I just went on to take screenshots of my 12-month prescriptions and I see that they just issued one month for both dogs without calling me because they saw one of the reviews I left and this way they could write that they do care about the animals. What a joke!!! How the heck was I supposed to know the scripts were even there. They're just trying to cover their butts. Be careful if you go here honestly find a different vet there's so many good ones out there I simply went to them because they were conveniently close which was a big big mistake. The nickel dime you to death. Make sure when you bring in fecal samples they do something with them. Also, just talked to Covetrus and they were told that both of my dogs were due for heartworm testing which is a blatant lie. read more

Fraudulent company, calls themselves an animal hospital when they're nowhere near shape or form anywhere close to an animal hospital, on top of misleading and false advertising, they are rude and disrespectful, they advertise That they are hospital, but they are just a clinic using the name of the hospital, but they do not provide hospital services for animals. This is a fraudulent clinic and you must be aware about it. Do not bring your pets here for anything especially any emergencies they will turn you away. They'd rather see your pet suffer then offer any assistance in any way shape or form, no remorse or anything from the incompetent staff. Do not go here this place should be shut down read more

Took my 2 year old poodle to this vet for a check up and possible anal gland infection. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Finn was so calm due to their aromatherapy pods in the exam rooms. I've never been yet and they're already been so helpful. I called two clinics because my two week old kitten wasn't pooping and I was so worried, one of them said they could check on her if I went over and it would cost $82. Then I called this one and the receptionist asked the doctor and the doctor said to give her mineral oil and that should help her, it did. They basically saved my babies life for free. Our nearly 15-year-old cat started having some minor health issues. When I first brought her in to the clinic, it was during Covid so they had someone come out to the car to get her. I was a bit nervous but everyone was wonderful. They explained everything to me and took care of her well. We had to go back several more times as she continued to worsen/show new symptoms. The doctors were all so kind, explaining everything patiently. They always told us all our options and were very understanding when we opted not to continue to put our dear friend through more tests and procedures. No one ever pressured us to go through extensive and costly tests. In the end we decided to have her put down. The staff were all so kind and caring, not only to our cat but also to us as we cried while saying goodbye. They were so gentle with our cat that last day, too, treating her so well. It was a sad situation but their compassion and kindness certainly helped us through the difficult time. We are so appreciative of all they did for us. read more

We have 2 dogs and they take good care of them. Their staff and both doctors are always friendly. Highly recommend them.

My dog was sick all weekend and I called on Monday to try to get an appointment. They were booked but managed to squeeze in an appointment for my pup the next day at a time that worked for me. They went above and beyond to help us out. Dr. Stone and her staff are amazing. And talk about affordable! Luckily I leave down the street from the clinic, but if you're anywhere in the area it's worth the drive to GAC. read more

We were looking for a more personal experience at a veterinary clinic and we found it! This is a small clinic but it has a wonderful, homey feel and the staff is incredibly nice. You can tell that they all care a great deal about each pet that walks through the door. Our boy is usually a little anxious at the vet but he was totally comfortable and happy the whole time! Dr. Stone was excellent and we look forward to seeing her again.
