Incredibly disappointing bartending service for a wedding of nearly 200 guests. Please read before…read morebooking with them. The bartenders were serving shots in extremely small plastic cups, essentially the size of bottle caps. The issue was not simply that the cups were smaller than expected, it was that the bartenders were FLAT OUT telling guests to save and reuse their own cups because the bar did not have enough cups for everyone. What is particularly difficult to understand is that the venue knew in advance how many guests would be attending. Adequate cups for the number of guests should be a basic logistical consideration for a wedding of this size! In an effort to resolve the issue ourselves & spare the bride from having to deal with an embarrassing situation at her own wedding, we ended up ordering our own full-size shot glasses and having them delivered to the venue. We were not asking the venue to purchase anything or incur any additional expense. Despite this, the bartending staff STILL refused to use the full-size shot glasses we provided and continued using the extremely small plastic cups which they were allegedly running out of! I understand that venues may have policies regarding outside items, but if that was the case, this should have been communicated before the event. Refusing to use glasses that we had personally purchased to address a shortage left us with no reasonable explanation for why the issue could not be resolved. At that point, it was just about them being stingy with the alcohol. The bride and groom should not have to worry about basic bar supplies at their own wedding, nor should friends and family have to scramble to gather supplies because of the venue's apparent lack of preparation or regard for the number of guests. For anyone considering this venue for a wedding or large reception, make sure you're okay with the venue being incredibly stingy toward your guests. Based on our experience, I would not assume that the bar will be adequately prepared simply because the venue has been given the final guest count in advance.

I would give zero stars if I could…read more Please do not hire this bartending company unless you want your guests to be asked to REUSE their shot cups and cocktails cups. We had 185 guests at our event, and I trusted that the bartender would come prepared with all of the necessary supplies. We were told there were only 150 shot cups (by David himself) which meant guests were being asked to save and reuse their shot glasses and cocktail glasses. This was extremely tacky and honestly embarrassing for us as hosts. If there weren't going to be enough cups, I would have much rather been told ahead of time so I could have had my point of contact purchase additional cups. It made my partner and I look cheap in front of our guests. David also mentions that he pours half shots - understand that these shot glasses he's talking about are literally like water bottle caps. Several guests commented on it, and I personally had multiple guests tell me that they felt David was rude and unwelcoming What bothered me most was hearing from multiple guests that some of my family members, including my uncles who wear turbans, were not treated kindly Asking guests to save their cups was humiliating and completely unnecessary. One of our guests even mentioned that his bartender partner said David "just likes to save the cups," which made the situation even more disappointing. We purchased the alcohol and drinks and went home with MANY leftovers Please save yourself the headache and embarassment and spend the extra money to hire a proper bartending company that prioritizes the experience for guests. I would NEVER work with this company again

Then the hallway that led to the big ballroom was also very nice. The ballroom can fit I feel like almost 40 tables comfortably. I believe this party had 35 tables, with a buffet style dinner, a huge front table for the honored guest and her entourage. And a huge dance floor. Everything was well put together. It was beautiful. Only complaint is the bathroom can be better.

I re-read all of the reviews for this place after our event and really don't understand why there…read moreisn't more objective, honest feedback posted. We held a corporate event at this space due to our typical hotel ballroom being unavailable. This venue was an overall fail for us. 1. Setting - It was a bit dated and run down. The fixtures are gaudy, but in cheesy way. Quilted vinyl on the walls, gold-plated silverware, and a rusted carriage outside. 2. Service - The staff was fairly intrusive and unprofessional. The busgirl started wheeling around a creaky cart with plastic gray bus tubs in the middle of our dinner. After we asked the event manager to have her quit that, she came back out without the cart but with the same dingy gray plastic tubs. She also tried to take our speakers' plates while they were at the podium. The staff needs some training on proper service standards. 3. Food - The food was mixed. Multiple attendees commented that the food was sub-par. The cheese and app course looked great. The mains were less successful. Mushy short ribs and salmon that looked like they threw it in the chafing dish just didn't meet expectations. The vegetables left a lot to be desired - they were ok, but underwhelming. I would also note that there was no ice out for the water or iced tea. 4. Cleanliness - big L on this front. One of the stalls in the men's room had an unprofessional hand-written out of order sign on it. Guys - just hire a plumber. We also experienced a leak from the celling that left a gross brown liquid on one of our place settings. This is unacceptable for a corporate event, even more so for a wedding. So overall, the staff was pleasant to work with and nice enough. That said, I just can't imagine taking the risk of scheduling a large important event at this venue.

Mike "The DJ" Woodall is seriously the best. He was highly recommended by a friend of ours, and…read moreonce we met him we knew he was our guy. Mike has every quality you need in a DJ/MC. We were nervous in choosing a DJ. Trusting someone to run your wedding's time frame is hard to do. But Mike has all the confidence needed for us to trust him... and the day of, he was perfect. He helped with everything. He helped us pick some good songs out of our normal range, and recommended some new music I hadn't even heard of. This guy knows his stuff. He kept the party moving. Each song, which played in a seamless transition, was better than the last. He also was instrumental in helping plan the money dance, father/daughter dance, and every other traditional wedding activity. He made so many suggestions that our wedding planner never even told us about. Seriously, he knows his stuff. Mike is a true professional, and he brings a real personal touch, which is a great, and a much needed quality in a DJ. My wife and I could not recommend Hits Entertainment any higher. If I ever get married again (jk Megan), Mike will be my first call.

We were both worried about our friends and family being too shy to hit the dance floor, but he played such good tunes and was so engaging that the dance floor was FULL!!! We heard so many people say that our wedding was the most fun wedding ever because so many people were festive and dancing. But, let me take a step back to the beginning. Mike was a great DJ from the start. He was very professional and responsive. He helped us plan the music very well because we had no idea what to tell him we wanted him to play. He had helpful guides and cheat sheets that helped us narrow down our musical style. He made many suggestions that helped us think outside of the box so we could please everyone with the type of music played. He met with us several times in preparation for the wedding as well as answered many emails and phone calls. I was worried I was driving him crazy, but he was always helpful and eager to be of service. Just an excellent person and DJ! And, like I said, on the day of the wedding, he did an absolutely fantastic job. Not only was his music great, but he also styled the venue to really POP. He brought so many beautiful lights that he placed in key locations around the dance floor to make a fun and festive vibe. He even matched them to our wedding colors. I noticed the lights looked amazing in the professional photographer's photos. And finally, he was also very helpful in the flow of the day. He made several announcements so people knew what was going on. He wasn't one of those cheesy DJs that everyone wants to shut up (haha). He also taught everyone how to do the Wobble, and everyone, I mean everyone, was totally into it. He was such a good DJ. I wish we could get married every month and have him be our DJ...haha!!

The whole thing fell apart. I reached out to the decorator and they just said, since it was standing before they left, it was no longer their responsibility. Also they kept blaming the wind, there was no wind. And even if there was, the decorator needs to secure for it, its part of the service. It took 4 grown adults 1.5 hours to stand it back up. IT WAS VERY HEAVY!! While they should've been enjoying the party, helping greet guests or setting up other stuff. And it looked wonkv after we were done. Since I paid about $1700+ I asked for a portion of the cost reimbursed and they refused. If I was business and I provided a service that had a fault, even if it wasn't mine, I would try to correct it. It's just bad business to leave people to fix it who paid service that could've potentially ruined the whole event. If you're still planning to hire them, be ready to hear a ton of excuses if stuff doesn't go right, fix the stuff yourself if it falls apart and not be compensated for any faults. Wish I had read the other negative reviews here before I booked them.
