I can't say enough great things about this bartending school! From day one, the instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, hands-on, and just determined to see me succeed. The environment was definitely fun. I came in with some knowledge of making drinks but I didn't just learning recipes, I gained confidence, speed, and how to truly engage with people behind the bar. What really blew me away is how effective the program is... I completed the course and literally the very next day, I landed my first bartending gig at a private home event! I walked in feeling prepared, confident, and ready to deliver--and it showed. If you're even thinking about getting into bartending, this is 100% the place to start. They don't just teach you how to bartend, they assist in finding work also. I'm so grateful I made the decision to enroll! read more

I wish I could give them 0 , not a school, messy place, smells like mold. You couldn't hear anything, a small bar with bar seats, half of the bar was filled with former students ( hahaha) they were making drinks and shaking bottles, so imagine what you could hear! Such a joke. They called us to take our reviews off and offer us our money back BUT they asked for our card number I really scared to give my card number out! So I was there about 2 hours and they took my $400 ! read more

So freakin happy!!! I signed up thing I would just learn a couple basics and be thrown out into the world... NO. The instructor Sunny.... this man knows his stuff. You learn about every single liqueur and liquor. You learn about the Origins of how and where everything is made. You learn drinks that people don't even hear about anymore. But having that knowledge is what sets you apart from the dive bar bartenders. I feel so confident and thankful I chose this course. I look forward to using my new craft to support me and my newborn for the years to come! read more

After collecting your admission fees they dole out a certification to the bare minimum shown. Their temp agency training program Absolute Mixology Entertainment Inc. leaves you out to dry. Cole was an incredibly knowledgeable instructor, easily one of the best people in the industry. I got certified in about 2-3 weeks full time, but they are very flexible with class schedules. It will take a lot of studying outside of class, but it gets easier with the immediate hands on experience since Day 1. Nina made the application process easy and helped guide me every step of the way. This is also one of the more affordable schools for how incredibly knowledgeable the staff is. read more

One of my dream jobs is to be a professional bartender. So when I saw a Groupon for this school, my eyes lit up and I immediately scheduled myself for classes! Going into this class, I knew nothing about bartending and had very little knowledge about drinks. After a couple of hours in class, I learned about the history of certain drinks and how they got their respective names. Very interesting facts to know and you can impress your friends at the bar by telling them what you've learned (lol). The class itself is very fun and hands on. Although you will get tested at the end (written and bartending drill), there's really no stress plus it's tons of fun having your own bar and making drinks! You have full access to all the equipment as you're sitting behind the bar. All the bottles don't have alcohol in it but colored water. The provided textbook also has the steps to make each drink and useful to have when at home. John was our instructor. He made the class fun and was very helpful. If you're looking for jobs, he will tell you about some openings around your area. He gave a great vibe and was enthusiastic about bartending. Unfortunately, I did not finish bartending school. However, I talked with the director and you can reschedule yourself for classes anytime you want as long as it's in the same location you started at. I will put an updated review when I (finally) finish. This is a great for training if you want to become a bartender. Even if you're not looking to be a professional bartender, it's fun to be behind the bar and learning how to make drinks! No stress + having your own bar = 5 stars! read more

i'm gonna keep it completely real with you, this course was fun and i met some really cool people, HOWEVER taking bartending school is completely not necessary. Nobody will want to hire you just bc you took this class, you will need 1-2 years experience minimum to get a bartending position, you might get a bar back position but not bartending right out of schooling. The course doesn't cover everything you'd need to know being behind the bar either. We only did cocktails, mixed drinks and shots. We did not get taught about beer, wine or any blended drinks. Please if you want to be a successful bartender do not waste your time or money on this. Start as a server or host in a restaurant and try and work your way up into being a bartender at that company. Also nina is pushy as helllll. read more

I had a great time for my two week course. Sonny is a great instructor and really knows his cocktails. The awesome part about this place is even though I got my certificate I am still able to go back any time to continue practicing making cocktails. Upon leaving Nina gave me all kinds of resources to places I can apply or get job availabilities. Totally recommend this school if you want to learn bartending. read more

I loved ABC's hands-on training. The classes were fun and the instructors, Sunny and Megan, were great! I received invaluable information not only regarding the industry itself, but about the historical and cultural significance behind all different types of liquors and spirits. They were very accommodating with my busy work schedule, and I was also able to bartend ABC's events to earn extra cash monies. 10/10, would recommend for anyone wanting to learn more about the industry or even pick up a new hobby. read more

So far so great! I just started this bartending school and let me tell you, it is a breath of fresh air! I'm learning so much thanks to the instructor, Sunny. He is very consistent and knowledgable. He is also very easy to learn from and always willing to help. The school itself is nice. It's very large inside and has two full bars set up so most of the time you get to practice on your own well, which is great. I'm learning all kinds of drinks and history that I've never been introduced to- even though I attended and became certified from another bartending school in LA back in June. I can honestly say I learned more here in two days, than I did in my 3 months at the other school. The owner of the school is happy to talk job placement with you as soon as you start which is different from other schools that make you wait until you complete your certification. This is nice because you can worry less about the break of unemployment when you finish the course and focus more on learning. You really have the burden taken off of you here. At the previous school I attended ( not affiliated with this school ) they made the students do everything! Vacuum, dust scrub...everything- anything they could have students clean, they would. But this is not the case at this school. They have the instructors take more responsibility and it is nice because students have more time to practice because of this. The parking lot is great during the day but at night, it is very dark and scary. However, the school encourages you to park right in front and never lets you walk out alone so this is a good solution. I wouldn't say the parking lot is dangerous, it's just that the other businesses close early so during night classes, there's not much traffic. Overall, my experience here has been so great this far. The owner, John is a good guy, willing to help and very genuine. The instructor, Sunny, well he is just great! I'm excited to continue to be properly educated here and look forward to recommending this school to everyone! read more
