She taught me an incredible amount about the type of shoe that is right for me, and most importantly why. She went through a great process of helping me select the best shoe for how I run. She also introduced me to the magic that is toe socks. This was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend Running Wild to anyone who wants expert input on selecting a running shoe or running associated gear. They literally have everything you need for running. From shoes to apparel to supplements, they have it.

Interactions with shoppe employees range from stuck up snooty to cautiously friendly. I prefer the latter. They offer shoes, candles, a small selection of jewelry. Lots of women's ready to wear clothes. Most recently they had a decently sized sales rack and tons of fall/winter selections. Sweaters, pleathers, cords, suedes... also a few hats. I appreciate the variety of brands featured. Recently I picked up a really darling set by an Australian designer. I love their variety. Some of their pieces are more billowy long dresses. Some are cute party dress styles but they have a range between as well. It's worth coming in for quality women's wear.

We didn't get to see the entire store but heard there's an indoor skate area too. We have plans to go back and have lunch on another day. See you there!

Apparently, this is an uncommon item. I posted a request for Ideas on Facebook and one of my friends suggested Sharpstuff USA. I called them and spoke to a gentleman that was absolutely AWESOME. He had sold out of the item, but spent a good ten minutes on the phone with me. He provided me with the item number and put me in contact with the supplier that he orders the item from. I contacted the supplier and there are now two sets of bars on their way to me. The gentleman even followed up with me later in the evening to check and see if he could help me further. Now, Florida is a long way from me but I know where to go next time that I need a not-so-common item. The level of service and assistance (especially for someone that they couldn't make a sale to) was stellar. I can't recommend this place enough. Great Job!

So 2 years ago hubby bought me these Gucci Water Tiger slides for my birthday & I have been looking for another pair, can't find them anywhere.. Anyhoo, we built a little patio in my garden have been putting stone paths thru it & the other day we were working on the back steps that leads to the garden, I came down them & my slide went sideways, it tore, I went down. Yep, I blew my flip flop :( With cuts & bruises all over, I decided I fancied a new pair of slides, so off to DSW we went! The only place I like to go for shoes is DSW unless it's Gucci & we don't have one of those here :( This store is nice. It has a lot of the usual brands. It's not as nice as the DSW in Addison, Texas. They have a giant designer section that does have Gucci sometimes. I bought hubby a pair of Gucci boots he loves at the Addison, Texas store. Yay!! :)) Anyhoo, this store is not as nice. And they didn't have anything I fancied at the moment. So I did what most girls do. I started crying & hubby knew just what to do. Hubby took me to Lowe's! LOL He bought some super duper Gorilla glue, cleaned up, glued up my favorite Water Tiger flip flops & had them ready for me the next morning. Best hubby on the planet! :)) I'm back to bouncing & fannying about town no problemo. I hope DSW gets some better inventory soon bc this store's inventory is seriously lacking in the "Water Tiger" pirate style department. Meow! Arrrr! Will return.
