She listened carefully to what I wanted and double checked before cutting which was reassuring. Linda has cut my fringe here and she also did a great job. Both ladies seem to know everyone who comes in - and it is a busy salon as there wasn't a gap for two days when I called for an appointment. They also seem to be a favourite in the area to cut children's hair but don't worry if you have come here to relax - there is a firm notice on the door stating that children must be quiet and under control! It is certainly relaxing here, they keep the local radio on low. Aside from the hairdressers you can also get a massage and waxing of various hairy bits done here. The back rooms are split up into little modules for each of the treatments. Prices for haircuts are very good - I paid £16 for a wet cut and £2 for a quick fringe trim.

They stock and use Tigi products so you will go home smelling soooo good. I believe its a tactic to placate your boyfriend for taking so long/spending so much money on your hair because he'll just be smelling your hair the whole night and forget. Not that this is expensive - about average at £25-30 for full cut and blow dry. I hate hairdryers and they remember that every time so I just have a wet cut which is a bit cheaper. Only complaint is the R&B soundtrack, but I guess that's for par for the course in most hairdressers these days... Find this hairdressers at the top of the high street just before Straits Parade.

Just went home and cried even having to call in work sick the next day as i had to desperately go to another salon to get me hair cut off to save it. I had also paid 15 quid for the hair extensions as a deposit but never went back to have them fitted as A. i had to have all my hair cut off and B. I was disgusted with the service.

I'm told it's a hair salon and judging by a few chairs and mirrors it is. But then there's a lot of staff apparently on sale. I mean, a lot of stuff - to a charity shop standard. And this is basically the vibe of the store, a hair salon come charity shop. It's kind of cool and I dig it, but very random. So the next time you're thinking to yourself "I need a new style but also some pre-loved crockery from the nineties" you know where to come.

If you do get a cut here ask for one of the more experienced girls - the junior stylists are really young and haven't learnt customer care as yet. When having my hair dyed here, I overheard one saying "why would anyone dye their hair that colour?" to another which really is just rude. It's my choice what colour I go and I'm paying you to do it, so keep the chatter out the back by the kettle kids.
