You start by cleansing your skin at the Wash Bar. Afterward, your esthetician takes you into your treatment room and creates a customized facial just for your skin type and concerns. Since it was wintertime, my skin was SUPER dry and flaky. My treatment focused on hydration with a light chemical peel to slough off dead skin and a super hydrating mask. My esthetician also performed light extractions to remove buildup around my nose and chin. After the 30 minutes, my skin was GLOWING. Not surprising, since this is Glowbar, after all! I was smiling from ear to ear for DAYS. Plus, the space is gorgeous. Super light, open, and airy. I love the dedicated wash bar and the treatment rooms. A facial at Glowbar is $80. Or you can sign up for a membership and get 1 facial per month for $65. Consider this my plea for Glowbar to come to the West Coast immediately if not sooner!

After trying two of the three massage therapists, I honestly almost quit leaving 3 massages unclaimed. They were awful. The male masseuse spent most of the time just pressing down. When I asked about it he said he is just more comfortable with deep tissue than Swedish, of which the very lacking massage was neither. The second female was late, talked the whole time. Didn't have much strength, the didn't finish. She did about 2/3 of one side and quit after 40 mins. If I would have quit this would have been a two star review. But thankfully I didn't. I tried Alicia, who is very hard to book and that is understandable because she was fantastic. Let me reiterate, I do not recommend any of the massage therapist, other than Alicia. One of the best massages I have had in a long time.
