Plus I like our conversations. So glad I found her at Skin and Body Works.

I cannot say enough good things about Shannon and her business, Noel Herbal Skincare…read more I had my first facial with her over the summer and it was by far one of the most relaxing and effective facials I've ever had. As a person, Shannon is a true professional and is an expert when it comes to skincare and using natural products to promote wellness. She has such a gentle, calming spirit, and you feel at ease as soon as you are in her presence. When I visited Shannon, I received the Moon Facial, which was very restorative and left my skin feeling beautiful. It involves extractions and steam, but in the most gentle way possible. I'm personally pretty sensitive to steam, so I asked Shannon if it could be lowered and she immediately took care of it and was great about checking in during the whole process to make sure I was comfortable. The products she used didn't irritate my skin at all and really made a difference. My mom has also visited Shannon for facials many times, and tells me that her "happy place" is being at Noel Herbal Skincare, receiving the most amazing facial. I completely agree. Cheers to many more visits to the happy place.

All the products felt so good on my skin. When masks were sitting on my face Shannon did neck, shoulder and arm massages. I used the restroom when I was done and I was shocked when I looked in the mirror. My skin looked so healthy. A few months ago I did a hydro facial and my skin did not look like this when I left. Going forward I am going to skip those spa's and do a facial with Shannon.

Let me tell you why. 1) She genuinely cares about her work and her customers. It shines through in everything she does. Her space is well organized, cozy and welcoming, and her products are really tempting (and if I didn't already use the best skincare line out there for me, I'd buy whatever she recommended). 2) She takes her time getting to know you and your current routines, and what your skin needs. Everyone's skin is different, and my own skin changes a lot depending on time of year, stress, and age. She takes everything into account and customizes my facials to what I need that day. 3) Her prices are all inclusive - no tipping needed. That is so refreshing, and takes a lot of pressure off of me as a client. I highly recommend her, if you can get a spot!

And I can't wait to go back after each visit. A HydraFacial is unlike any other facial. It is quick, to the point, no fluff, computer precise, and A COMPUTER controls everything! Sometimes fluff is good and all, but when it comes to time and efficiency, I'm all about getting right to the point. She followed up with an amazing mask that I even ended up purchasing during our COVID shut down so I could keep up the self-care at home. After she was able to reopen after quarantine, she did so with extra safety measures and I was happy to get another facial. She even shows you one side compared to the other during the facial so you can see how clean your face is getting. The machine is so cool and you get to see all the exfoliated and dead skin after. Sooooo satisfying!! You know that type of satisfying you get after watching those Dr. Pimple Popper videos, yes just like that. I've been using products she has recommended ever since and love that there is an online store to buy all my goodies from! To top off the whole experience, Page is personable, easy to relate to, chat with, and laugh with. Instant skincare BFF! Oh, and if you need other self-care love she specializes in brazilian and all things waxing and Page is known for her quick and efficient hard wax for hair removal. Over time, however, it felt like the management style, particularly at the ownership level, shifted. Communication became inconsistent, and situations that once would have been handled directly and professionally were not. This was not reflective of the front desk team. Many of the therapists I connected with moved on. My most recent experience simply was not the right fit. I did not feel fully heard, and the session felt more rushed than mindful. After the session, there was no follow up or check in at all, which has never happened in any of my previous experiences here. I was tired of bouncing around, so I gave it time to see if things might improve. In the end, she agreed it was not the right fit. What was most disappointing was how it was handled. It took several calls, emails, and texts from me to learn that my sessions had been canceled less than 24 hours before my next appointment. The front desk told me the owner was supposed to call me about the cancellations and to suggest an alternative therapist, but that call never happened, and there was no follow up afterward. There was also a brief moment that stood out. I had left more than 20 percent, though less than the week before because the experience felt different. When I shared that, it was suggested that the front desk might not have passed the full amount along. That surprised me, as the front desk team has always been consistently kind, professional, and trustworthy. I want to be clear that the front desk staff are excellent. They make scheduling seamless, communicate thoughtfully, and create a welcoming environment every time you walk in. I am writing this because I cared about this place. I used to genuinely look forward to coming here. Moving on feels like losing something familiar, almost like losing a friend. I would still welcome a one on one conversation with the owner, as I would have appreciated that before. I hope the practice finds its way back to what once made it so special.
