It's subdivided into a few smaller rooms where the walls don't go to the ceiling, which looks kind of unimpressive on the outside, but the insides are pleasant and white and have a sort of pleated paper type of ceiling that is actually rather lovely - it's a little like being in a nicely-lit tent at a festival or something like that. Noodly jazz music made for a relaxed atmosphere. You can hear the B-line going by outside, but this is an RMT clinic, not a luxury spa - it's about getting down to business and fixing what hurts. My massage was excellent - Arian's got good hands and an instinct for honing in on the spots that need it. He showed me a few stretches afterwards as well that should help me in the future. Would definitely recommend him.

She tried to contact the other employee who i was booked with and got no answer. At 1:08 a 3rd employee showed up to let us in. He then called the woman who i was booked with who finally picked up saying she did not have her phone on her walk and would not be in until 1:30. The man at the desk awkwardly told me this and just shrugged his shoulders. It would have been nice to maybe offer something for my time other then just sorry she wont be able to see you ? Overall lack of comminication, brutal service and very unprofessional. As a buisness owner myself you hate to see this out there, hopefully changes are made.

I have recently been seeing Geoffrey Yee for massage and Joseph Chang for acupuncture at Clayton…read moreGate. I am so impressed with the calibre of these therapists. Geoffrey Yee, registered massage therapist, is an olympic lifter, and therefore knows exactly where my muscles hurt and how much pressure to use. He has a personable manner and has a passion for helping people in pain and for sharing knowledge. I can't recommend him enough. Joseph Chang is truly the best acupuncturist I have ever visited. He has a very calming, healing nature. Within one session, he assessed my issues, used acupuncture needles, completed cupping and fire cupping, and manually adjusted my problem areas. I also had the opportunity to try "ear seeds" which were to be left on for 4 days. His treatments have been absolutely amazing. If you do not like needles, there are other options, so ask for alternatives. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on his skills. A ++ for Clayton Gate!

She takes notes of everything that's going on and offers advice on how to fix certain problems relating to my posture to ensure I can better myself. She's also so friendly and always a pleasure to talk to! The IR sauna is also one of my favorites as it's only $10 add on when you're there for another appointment (massage or chiro). You get 45 minutes in the sauna, and they give you an additional couple before so you can prepare and then after so you can get dressed. They have a sink in the same room as the sauna so you can wash up before you head out. Great little gem in North Van!

I love Northview Massage…read more I found this place on the internet when I was in need of massage services for an accident. The receptionists are all extremely helpful and patient. They work with you on helping find a good therapist that will help you with your needs. They offer tea and coffee while you wait. I've been going to Elisha, who is just lovely. She is so nurturing and caring. She always makes sure that you know that hour with her is your time. She goes above and beyond with tips to help your injury or adjust how you do things for your job to keep your symptoms at bay. I have nothing but great things to say. The walls of the clinic are a bit thin, so you might hear people in other rooms from time to time, especially during peak times, but this isn't a deal breaker for me. I will continue to go here even after my treatments end.

Okay. Then the massage started at 6 minutes late with static holds. Basically she was manually stretching me. It was mildly relaxing but given her first comment it seemed like she was preserving energy. A couple times during the massage she stopped entirely. (I think she was taking bites out of a wrap?). The massage wrapped up on the hour, so I paid for 60 minutes, got 54 of pack-lustre massage. Sorry. Can't recommend this place. Also the bathroom was dingy.
