Rather than wait many hours in ER, stuck on dreadful chairs (not even a stretcher), receive minimal attention (no one even offers you water!!), surrounded by addicts and people loudly expressing this pain and frustration, I tried the IV treatment centre. Love it. Recliner chairs, frequent vital signs monitoring that make me feel safe, with water and juice available, relaxing music, wifi, big screens, privacy (no one sitting 6 inches away in the next chair). Loved it!!! Thank you.

They needed a credit card on file to book the appointment and have a 24 hour cancellation policy. In addition to RMTs, they also offer acupuncture and naturopathic treatments. I was sent a really really long history form to fill along with a consent form but despite me completing it, they were unable.to find it in the system. They gave me a shorter form to complete at the center which took less than 2 minutes to fill. The RMT was professional and focused on the pain points. The massage was dealing enough that I actually dozed off which is uncharacteristic for me. The only thing that irked me a little was that they listed the RMT as a sales rep on the receipt. Other than that, I absolutely loved this place.

I have been going to Refresh for a couple years now and LOVE Sandra and Krystal. If I could respond…read moreto reviews on here I would absolutely without a doubt call 'Jane G' out on her BS... From the first day I came into the clinic I was treated with respect. I bought a package so each session was less expensive. Nobody pushed it on me.... It just made financial sense to do it that way. I was referred to Refresh by a good friend of mine who is a fitness instructor and has also gotten great results from Refresh. I have since then referred a few more friends that had nothing but positive things to say about the 'mother and daughter' who own the clinic so I don't know what side of the bed you woke up on Jane, but it is very unfortunate you need to attack a small family run business they way that you did. I have never gotten sick from a colonic. Money money money?? YEAH everything has a price tag does it not? LOL.. do you go to the grocery store and complain about the bill when you get your groceries? This is a BUSINESS.. We all pay the same.. There is a difference between constructive criticism and being just absolutely rude. Disgusting. When you say the people on here are all her friends... MAYBE... Because the 'mother daughter' are not these 'rude' people you have suggested they are. I in fact have become friends with Sandra over the last few years and I would never say I got a nasty impression from her or her daughter.... so get a grip woman, maybe you got sick cuz you were off your meds who knows.. I highly recommend Refresh. "Jane's" review is a joke I actually laughed.

OVERVIEW: When a good friend refers you to a clinic that offers an alternative method of better health, you just have to see for yourself. The funny thing is that the "alternative method" should have been the norm because Springs Eternal deals with naturopathic medicine. On a broad sense, this means that they focus on natural remedies coupled with the body's ability to heal and maintain itself while avoiding evasive methods like drugs and surgery. WHO: The clinic is run by a soft-spoken couple (each with their own specialties) whom both have a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine giving them an "ND" designation rather than an "MD". AILMENTS: They deal with a wide array of conditions from allergies/asthma, detox/cleansing, and anything else that deals with making your body function better. TREATMENTS: No antibiotics here that puts your system out of whack and kills the good bacteria along with it. We're talking about acupuncture, hydrotherapy and homeopathy which means herbs and natural supplements to bring your body into healing itself. CONSULTATION: It's a one-hour consultation for the very first visit. You fill out a form detailing your present health and conditions. At CAD140.00, I damn right made sure to list everything I can think of about my health. The doctor goes thru the form and then discusses everything in your life and weeds thru your past living and working conditions. From possible exposure to household paint and chemicals to how much metals your body may have ingested including the amalgam your dentist put on your teeth. COST: Because it's an alternative approach this means that MSP will not cover the cost of clinic visits nor will Pharmacare cover the cost of supplements. Until this is a widely accepted form of treatment in the medical community extended insurance is the only option. THE FUTURE OF MEDICINE: Until the government includes this as part of basic medical coverage or I win the lottery (whichever comes first, really) it's not something I can continue doing. And let's just say your extended insurance will cover the cost of all office visits, you still have to deal with the cost of supplements which isn't covered. UNTIL THEN: All we can really do toward better health is what our parents have been saying. At least drinking red wine has health benefits. Now if only they make a positive study on poutine consumption.
