Amazing service! The place is huge and has multiple rooms to accommodate for a big clientele. Just an FYI, they don't take direct billing from private insurance companies. I had my RMT appointment with Michael and he does wonder! I told him I had left lower back pain from exerting at work and he relaxed my hips/back within minutes and the tension was gone! I liked how he also offered advise/home stretches to prevent it. He focused on my neck/shoulders area like I asked which was amazing! I would come back again read more

Karen is an incredible RMT, she has helped me tremendously. I would highly recommend her to anyone is need of a healing massage.

I've been searching for a proper physio/RMT ever since I got to Vancouver, but I'm so glad I finally discovered Broadway Wellness. After knee surgery (ACL/MCL) I was lucky enough to meet Michael, who was fantastic! He knew exactly what issues I was facing and helped me feel much better while giving practical advice and great service! If you have had sports injuries or need some expertise in this area, then this is the place to go! read more

Convenient location. I agree with the other reviewers, it is a bit noisy due to traffic on broadway but it didn't bother me - it's more like white noise. Upon entering, the place is very quiet with calm music playing in the background. Reception is friendly and there is a self serve water station. I booked a 60-minute massage through their website. I recommend you arriving ~10 mins early if you've never been here before because you need to fill out a form. Rmt started and ended on time. I'd say total massage time was about 50mins, 10mins was for changing. Rmt asked me what I'd like worked on and if there's any pain or injuries. My massage was very relaxing and I felt rmt working on some knots on my back and shoulders which is good. It was not as numbing (rmt built pressure gradually it seemed) as my previous massage. There is no heating pad but I felt like the friction from the massage+oil built some heat. So far I feel great! I don't feel a big difference after massage but I do feel more relaxed. I don't have a lot of soreness or tension to begin with but I am trying to improve my posture (I slouch a lot) with the aid of rmt. I do find it working. The place is very clean. Price is $110 which seems to be average with most licensed rmts. read more

Broadway Wellness - Water station for hydration - Naturopathic/Holistic Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

Really nice, relaxed massage place. My only complaint is that when they give you an hour massage, they factor the "talk" time into it, so you might end up getting 5-10 minutes less, depending on how long you need to explain your injury. Sometimes, you just really need that whole hour. (At least I do). Still, it's my favourite no frills place to get a massage right now. read more

I have been going to Broadway Wellness for 3 years now and have always had a good experience. Ashley is someone I would highly recommend as she provides professional, high quality massages, as well as friendly conversations that always brighten my day! She is attentive and does a great job at focusing on areas that have the most tension. I usually feel stressed before going, due to work, and feel relaxed leaving the studio. Thanks Ashley and Broadway Wellness! read more

I have been a client here for a couple of years. In those years I have seen pretty much all of the RMTs. Each professional has their own style and specialization. I have always had a fantastic experience at this centre and frequently recommend that my friends and sometimes even strangers to visit. I highly recommend the therapist Pia. She was able to give me a pain free life after resolving my separated shoulders and upper back issues. I have had this pain my whole adult life. She is a miracle worker. I am so grateful for all of the therapists and their fantastic work. I would never go anywhere else. read more

This business advertises direct billing to Blue Cross. When I asked the receptionist about this, she replied in writing that I shouldn't worry about it and we can figure things out next time I come. Then she made it seem like I was being a big pain when I tried to use my benefits. False advertising. Rude service. read more

So an employee messaged me to try to make me feel guilty about her having two children and that my reviews affect her Ridiculous if they had a manager that continually ensured the therapists massages meets standards by checking reviews and worked to make the environment more comfortable they wouldn't get two star reviews and now it goes to one for an employee trying to manipulate reviews. I never named any therapists to save their reputations and their reputation should stand for itself. Massages are not cheap one can work a whole day to afford one so they should be decent and not make one feel like they were just touched instead of massaged. If it's supposed to be some kind of energy transference with psychic energy then they should say so. I gave them two tries with two different people and it was the same so I chalk it up to different styles but when someone writes that they don't think people should voice their opinion then they are against free speech and should find a job at another massage center with a better reputation. My review was two years old so it took them two years to read their reviews and then complain about a review and make it worse instead of fix the problem to begin with! I have given 5 stars to other places nearby and have rarely given one star since 2007 read more

I 've been seeing Dr. Moyer for the past year and can say she is knowledgable and passionate about what she does. I was diagnosed w asthma due to environmental factors & because of Dr Moyer's guidance can now breathe easily. I also suffered a comminuted fracture of the thyroid cartilage which Dr Moyer treated using a variety of natural therapies to assist w healing, which has helped me to regain my vocal range. I also battle w occasional severe neck & back pain - which again - dr Moyer has been treating successfully. She's great because of how much she cares about her patients and her field. I was really not a big believer in the naturopathic medicine but my recent experiences have changed that. Very grateful to have found such a caring, educated, passionate naturopathic doctor! :) read more

Broadway Wellness Centre has fantastic Registered Massage Therapists and a very gentle but powerful form of chiropractic called NSA (Network Spinal Analysis.) I've been seeing Monica Cleland, RMT for years and I can honestly say that her treatments have been very therapeutic and have helped to bring balance back to my body, enabling it to heal from a myriad of different disorders. This isn't your typical massage so be sure to read more about Monica and her approach within her bio on their website before booking an appointment so you know what to expect. She combines cranialsacral therapy, myofascial release and visceral manipulation (working specifically with organ misalignment and adhesions). She is incredibly intuitive and her treatments also release energetic blockages which is an added bonus! :) If a deep tissue massage or stress release is what you're looking for Kristin Waddell is your gal. My massage with her was very relaxing and restorative. She truly has a healing touch! My massage felt like it had an energetic healing component to it as well. It was awesome! Kristin is currently on maternity leave but I'm looking forward to seeing her locum Vanessa Senecal for the first time. Pregnant? I highly recommend both therapists! read more

I've had many problems due to sports accidents over the years, and then I was in a car accident recently. I needed someone good to help put me back together. I was referred by a friend to see Monica C at Broadway Wellness. After a few months of visceral mussels treatments with her I was feeling much better. Monica was able to work on my most recent tension from the car accident, and she also was able to detect and work on tension from my past. I had very pleasant experiences in the clinic and Monica is by far the best RMT that has ever worked on me. Working with Monica was a mind, energy and body working experience that helped me a great deal. I highly recommend this clinic. read more

Me and my partner have regular treatments with two of the massage therapists at this clinic and love their treatments. I personally had chronic neck pain for seven years from car accidents and saw many different massage therapists on bimonthly basis in those years and it wasn't until receiving the treatments from these therapist that I now no longer have pain in my neck, truly life changing for me. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Krista Moyer, Naturopath, at Broadway Wellness for the last couple of months and can highly recommend her services. Being the first Naturopath I saw, I was a little skeptical about what to expect however this skepticism completely disappeared only minutes after speaking with Dr. Moyer. Dr. Moyer is extremely knowledgable on Naturopathic medicine and supplements and has provided a level of support I did not think possible from such a Doctor. She is able to see the whole picture, explain things clearly and offer such a variety of solutions. For anyone who has been struggling with years of health complaints, feeling of unwellness, or is even just looking for some tips on clean living, Dr. Moyer is well worth the visit! read more

I have had the opportunity to visit Broadway Wellness frequently over the last few years, and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who likes a clean, quiet, welcoming and professional environment within which to receive self-care services. I love the new location, as it is brighter and more spacious. The quality of treatment I receive I Broadway Wellness is always excellent. I am appreciative of the convenient parking, as well. read more

Really, Broadway wellness? My first and last time going to this place - I asked for a deep tissue massage on the phone and ended up with this faux super light (I guess you could call it that) acupressure 'massage' even though I told her again to go as hard as possible. Her response? "I'll try". This was sooo lame. This RMT barely moved!! Now, I have had hundreds of massages in my life, and I know the difference between a good solid technical massage, and somebody who is phoning it in. I made an excuse to leave 1/2 hour early because I just couldn't bear to lie there getting nothing. Tonight, the pain is still there - no difference, even after the first half hour. A good massage will be apparent for days after, as we know. What a load of bs. I am not fooled. I gave one but really, zero stars. read more

If you are looking for a hot stone spa massage, this probably isn't the place for you. I have ongoing issues with my lower back. My Massage therapist spent time on my glutes, quads and hamstrings which helped a lot. She also gave me information about exercises I could do that would help. Loved the clinic - comfortable and clean. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I will be back for sure. read more

Nicola at Broadway Wellness saved the day! This is a lovely clinic that is quiet and serene and seems to have a great team. I saw Nicola here because I was lucky there was a last minute opening when I called with a really bad neck situation a little while ago. She took note of some of my medical history that can impact massages and came up with a strategy that would be safe and helpful. I was so impressed. My neck situation improved dramatically the next day. I'm looking forward to seeing her for some preventative treatments so I don't end up in the disastrous neck situation again. read more

Michael Scottnicki RMT gave me the best massage of my life. He's amazingly knowledgeable about the body and totally brings that knowledge to bear in his treatment. He also really understood my body and what is going on in it by feeling it in his hands, went far beyond conceptual understanding to a sensed grasp of it. Highly recommend. read more

I am a massage therapist (who lives in E. Van but works in N. Van) and I go to Broadway Wellness because it's closer to my home than my own clinic. I find I can reliably get a good treatment here. The office is inviting and relaxing and the front desk staff is very helpful and polite. I wonder if the people who left bad reviews tried giving any feedback during the treatment. Without directing the whole treatment, it's important to tell the therapist what you would like - we want to know, don't be shy! read more

I had Laura. I was very disappointed, it's like I never went there. She applied very minimal pressure, touched me with just finger tips. I said I have lower back pain and she worked on my entire body with minimal pressure. This was my first time here and I am never going back read more

I've seen several of the therapists at Broadway Wellness and have always had a wonderful experience. I've been seeing RMTs for 35 years, all around the world, and I've had some of the best massages here. I'm surprised anyone has had an experience to the contrary. Keep in mind, they offer therapeutic massage, not a spa massage, and that different therapists work in different styles. As a client, I know that it is up to me to specify what I'm looking for upon booking and to provide feedback to the therapist on what kind of pressure that I am comfortable with. I won't go anywhere else. Check them out, you will be glad you did. read more

This place is located conveniently on Broadway at Spruce St. right where I live, so perfect to stop at right after work. I've been here twice for massage. Both times I found the RMTs easy to work with and the massage enjoyable. The downfall is the room is cold, the blanket too short, the traffic outside you can hear and people talking on the inside 'cause the rooms are close to the front desk. So not the best ambiance, but convenient if you live nearby. read more
