They do a great job with the model train scenes and it's fun to look at all the details. They have a scavenger hunt that involves finding specific objects on the checklist which is a challenge, even for adults ,and will definitely keep kids busy for a little while. The poinsettias are gorgeous as is the big tree in the main holiday event area. The greenhouse is also decorated for the season with lights and a few other surprises. This is always a nice winter escape; tropical plants and warmth in the winter? Yes, please! The cost of $4/person is reasonable and parking is free and plentiful. Post Christmas crowds are small making it a peaceful experience. It isn't a huge display, but very nicely done. We usually spend less than an hour here including wandering the greenhouse, so this isn't something to plan as a stand-alone all-day activity, but is a great interlude between other activities and/or an option for getting out of the house if it's crazy cold outside.

For an affordable $4, visitors can park in the nearby lots and escape the chill of winter for awhile by coming into the warmth of the reception area and conservatory. Note that they have a coat check area so that you don't have to carry your coats around with you. After paying in the lobby, you enter a reception area that has two sections decorated. The east side is covered with poinsettias with a few large Christmas Trees (one with a mini train) and a gingerbread house rising above them. The west side has a miniature village that runs the entire length of the reception area and around the corners to the doorways. The village has a mini train that motors along, passing stores with many of them having names of local businesses and supporters. At the entrance to the reception area, you can pick up a flyer and pencil for a scavenger hunt to enjoy while you look at the figures in the village. While there, you can also enjoy walking through the conservatory which has some Christmas lights and a few decorated items spread throughout the area. More colorful poinsettias are included in this lush and tropical setting. I noticed a couple people just relaxing in the warmth with a book. A truly great escape from the cold! About mid-month, there is a free time for "Christmas at Garfield" when Santa comes to visit, Mrs Claus has some goodies in one of the nearby park buildings, and they have some craft activities for kids too. If you want to add something new to your holiday activities, check out the park's website for times (usually closes at 5 pm). Be sure to bring your camera. I had to really edit my photos to the ones I posted. This place is beautiful! Review #3431

In addition to coolers with flower arrangements, my wife was quite impressed with the live plant offerings; so much so that she ended up making a purchase claiming the peace lilly was a fraction of the cost of some other large/chain florists she has shopped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to get advice on how best to maintain the live plant as well. The rest of the store has stuffed animals, inspirational messages on items, and general things to use as knick knacks or wall hangings. Cute shop! Note that upstairs is another business where you can get personalized signs made. Since I didn't find anyone to talk to up there, I haven't set it up as a new business. Review #2642

I called their 317 number Sunday and they said to call back on Monday and speak to distribution center. And they said that once they push it along to a CA shop (not even a McNamara shop but a local shop) they NO LONGER TRACK IT. Really? My husband called Monday for me bc I had to work and they said that they would follow up AND if need be send to another vendor and deliver that day, Monday. NEVER arrived! Now very annoyed. I reached out to my ex husband and he just said that the thought was nice and don't worry about it. Get a refund and avoid the hassle. I ended up calling McNamara back and cancelling the order. These were sympathy flowers. You'd think a large company like this would do better to track their orders. I should've just used a CA site but my husband recommended this company. I won't use them again. Annoyance on top of grief is not the outcome I want.

They were not purchased at this business, but elsewhere. The bad part is there were lilys in the bunch. I had raced her to the vet after the vet requested it. After over an hour of no success from the vet in getting the flowers to come up, she recommended the floral shop across the street to see if they could confirm what species of Lily they were. I raced over and went in. I was instantly greeted by a kind associate. I explained the situation and they did not hesitate to offer help. They looked over the photo and instantly identified the type of lily. Thanks to their effort, the vet was able to know it was a less toxic variety and my cat did not need further emergency treatment that would be invasive and costly. So thank you team!
