I just had to have a new geothermal unit installed and I had called Gibson's and another company for a quote. David from Gibson's came to my home the very next day, and boy, did he come prepared! He was helpful, answered all my questions, and made some suggestions that would definitely save me money. A great experience. Then, I had Chris and Andy come to my home to install the geothermal unit and a new compatible water heater. These guys are great! I can't say enough about how friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and quick they were with the installations. They cleaned everything up around the old units (yuck), hauled everything away, and left the area in much better shape than it had been. We have a summer place and had a plumbing issue on a Saturday and we called many places and left messages (using the phone book) before we came to Gibsons Not only did someone answer, someone came right out within the hour. We are not close to town or even where this tech lived but he came out and diagnosed the issue in a timely manner. He was very professional in how he went about showing us the problem and the options to fix He came out later that week and fixed after ordering the part. Called Gibson's to come out and do an estimate on fixing the connection on the dryer vent and on properly venting the bathroom vent. Customer service-wise, I would give them 4.5. stars. They arrived when they said they would and the guy was friendly. However, the suggestions they had for fixing the problems were more complicated than other companies suggested and definitely more expensive. Word from the neighborhood also supported the pricey feel that we got from them. I do know a colleague who used them for a big HVAC rennovation and were happy with the work they did. Just seems to be that Spade came up with a simpler (yet very effective) solution and were quite a bit less costly. read more

One of my kids turned the water on outside for some reason and I couldn't get it to shut off. I had to have Gibson's come after hours and he had to replace the whole spigot! He had to go into the disgusting crawl space under my old house to turn off the water so he could work on the spigot. I mentioned that my baby's bedroom vent won't push out any warm air, so he crawled to the other side of the crawl space and reconnected the ductwork. Now we don't have to use a space heater in her room! I'm so happy with his great customer service and complete honesty about the issue! Such a nice guy and so helpful! read more

I had a problem with my furnace not turning on and I had Gibson's come out to see what the problem was. They got the furnace running and told my wife that the furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and that I needed a new furnace. I went with Gibson with out getting two more estimates, big mistake on my part. I was over charged by 2000.00 dollars and come to find out later that the heat exchanger in the old furnace was cover by a life time warranty. read more

Several years ago, Gibson's installed our geothermal unit and we opted into their yearly service agreement. They have constantly been outstanding to work with. Bob knows the business and technical side of all things pluming, heating and air. They did a great job installing the unit several years ago and continue their high-level of service maintaining the unit. Highly recommend them. read more

Acouple years ago I had a problem with a sump pump and Gibson's was here within an hour and during the Christmas holiday. Hestayed until all the waater was cleaned up and the problems were solved. Showed early with advance phone call, diagnosed my furnace problem within a couple of minutes, gave me a reasonable total price, completed the service, I paid him with my debit card. I called for service on my garbage disposal. Josh K, the technician was prompt and arrived when he stated. He was friendly, communicated well. The reset button (which I never realized existed) was all it needed. He never made me feel silly for calling and gave me some tips on how to keep it in tip top shape. read more
