$15k on a new HVAC and about 8 visits over several months to get it working. A year later and they…read moreare giving me a hard time to come back again when it quit. The guy actually said to me, "we came out 8 times for free" when I said they were a terrible company. So I spent $15k for a non-working furnace and they want to skip out on the warranty and expect me to be thankful they came out 8 times to fix what should have worked the entire time. Now I will have to sue them to get any resolution. Flowtech is horrible. Business owner information Michelle M. Business Owner Feb 11, 2026 Mr. Garmatz. I am sorry you have had a bad experience with us but i feel its important to correct you on a couple points. You made the choice to end the Service Maintenance Agreement with us which did end your extended labor warranty. It does not void your equipment warranty so to say we are skipping out on a warranty is false. We installed your system on 6/14/2024 and do agree there were some issues. We returned 3 times in 2024 with the last time being 9/03/2024 so to say we have been there 8 times is also false. We have not heard from you until last night when you cussed out our service manager for 10 minutes on the phone. We sent a tech, per your demand, found the problem that was unrelated to our initial installation and resolved the issue at no charge to you. You belittled our service manager to the point he had to end the call and told you if you treated our tech the same way he would leave. You said in your first yelp review that if we made an effort to resolve the issues you would update your review. We held up our part of the deal, but you never updated your review. We do make mistakes and have always done our best to correct them and side with the customer. Please feel free to call and discuss this further if you would like. Customer Response Feb 11, 2026 Dear Horrible HVAC Company, I am sorry to hear you are butt-hurt about my calling out your atrocious service and refusing to continue to pay you for failed and incompetent service. Your company returned at least 6 times on my records (yes, I kept that many). I could not care less about your deceptions and lies attempting to make you look better with your well earned 1 star here. If your are deceptively stating that I only contacted once THIS YEAR (it is early February when my $15k HVAC failed yet again due to installer incompetence). I ranted at your staff after they suggested it was somehow nice of your company to come try to fix your incompetence on 8 occasions for free since the HVAC had yet to work properly. I expressed how disappointed I was with their service (damaging my ductwork during an incredibly sloppy installation where they left open wiring and a hole to the outside as well as failure to adjust any settings from factory default among other things). Your company is at best a horrible rip off for anyone using them and at worst dangerously incompetent and deceptive. You wanted to have it out here so why not share it with everyone? Your potential future suckers, er... "customers" deserve to see it. The tech also came and found that the settings were not properly adjusted for heat (seems like you problem to me, but of course you want to shirk responsibility as you have throughout). Since they were here last time during the summer they only adjusted them for AC. At this point, after all the experience with your company I can only wonder if that was not intentional to force another visit. Overcharging, excessive billing, and repeated visits to fix your company's shoddy work seem a frequent report on the internet. I wish I spent more time searching our your terrible record before hiring you at all (Flowtech in Columbia City, IN if you want to avoid them). I filed a complaint with the BBB and am also looking into reporting my experience as a complaint to the Indiana Consumer Protection Agency for HVAC service misrepresentation and failure to honor contracts. But by all means, respond again so I can share my experience with more people again.

They took 3 1/2 days at my house to try and fix my AC issue. Instead of just saying hey maybe you…read moreshould get someone who knows more about this brand of AC they kept trying to troubleshoot it. To no avail. The. On the last day thought maybe he would drain all my refrigerant and charge me 1200$ to replace it. Dont think so. I still ended up paying a total of like 700$ for the 3 1/2 days but they left and never fixed the problem. Everything was the same as when they first walked through my door. What a joke. I use to use them for plumbing and other issues at my old house but I'm done with them after this fiasco. Seems like they're doin anything to make a buck. Would not recommend ever again.

The tech told me I needed a new water heater and proceeded to drain the heater and take it apart. I asked him how much he didn't know but contacted his company and it was over $2000 I told him I could never pay that he stopped and left it torn apart with parts on the floor. I am currently disabled 75 years old and no senior discount that they advertise was even mentioned! I live alone my income is under $16000 so now what do I do? I feel they took advantage of me and now I have no hot water and parts left on my basement floor hoping I can find a family member to help me, but I don't think this tech even checked to see if he could start the pilot light . I'm devastated especially because of a surgery error I have radial nerve palsy and have no feeling or use of my hand, I cannot work to help pay for his outrageous bill of $140 service call ( but when checked with others most companies charge $85.) Never would I recommend this company.

We had a system malfunction with our Bryant furnace. Problems for over a year. Their technician came out 3 times in the last month or two. First visit he said there no was issue and did a dye test on second visit. Third visit he claimed to have fixed the issue. The furnace continued to malfunction and shut off. Called another hvac company and their tech diagnosed the issue in 5-10 minutes. We found out the furnace is too dangerous for us to even run! CO2 was not being vented and levels were 3x the allowed limit.. turns out the Bryant furnace model had class action law suits against because of defective parts.. Our new tech was aware of the issues with the furnace model and had a pamphlet about this. He was shocked the Fire & Ice tech was unable to find the problem especially after so many visits. We wasted hundreds of dollars with this company only to risk our families safety.
