Roof looks great, they cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant. Did the job quicker than expected. Unfortunately while removing the dumpster they accidently cut a corner too sharp, leaving my asphalt driveway and sinking the left rear axel into the ground. After several failed attempts to get the axel removed from the mud they were able to use a tow truck to pull it out, but this caused the axel, which was lying on my driveway, to scrape into my driveway removing an estimated 160 sq feet of asphalt. I notified the owner and an offer was made. I sent him 2 estimates and haven't heard from him since. I had my roof replaced by them in February/March of 2025. read more

He built our house in 2014. Worst experience ever. We also took Steve to the CCB. Our roof leaked 2 yrs later in multiple places. No longer could go after him and had it replaced. Septic issues, and many more issues with the house over the years. I would steer clear of Gibson homes or Gibson roofing. read more

Their bid was good and they were very friendly while helping us go through our options of materials and service. On the day they came to do the job, the workers were fast and efficient and did a fantastic job. Steve and his team were absolutely stellar. At our first consultation with Steve we immediately knew his company felt like the right fit, even after interviewing a handful of other roofing companies. Steve was fully transparent about every step of the process, the pricing, the materials used, and the timeframe. He and his team also were flexible about the install date and time, working around our schedule. They also came back immediately when there was one location that needed a little tweak. We had a full roof tear-off and re-install, as well as all new gutters, downspouts and leaf guards. We also had two fan vents installed and some wood trim replaced. Every product, and the reason for that product, was explained in detail, and the quote we received broke down every item, which we never saw from any other company. Steve's whole team were extremely friendly and thoughtful, kept the job site organized, asked questions when needed, and listened to all our ideas and feedback. Left gates open dog got injured, major vet bills and month long rehab on pets. Response was its impossible to know why people have gates. If you open it , it you should close thats what all other contractors will tell you. Then to find out they roofed over rotted plywood and facia boards, damage gutters with ladders and did not clean up properly afterwards amongst other things. Never offered to come check out my complaints only gave excuses. It took a complaint to the CCB and threat of lawsuit for him to finally offer to come to home 3 months after roofing was put on but that was after I had already filed complaint. Roof has to be redone had 2 estimators come out and both said Owens Corning will not warranty the roof. Buyer beware! If you had this company work on your home have a contractor come inspect the work, if there is a problem with it file complaint with CCB make him accountable. read more

Josh from Gibson Roofing did an inspection on a manufactured home that we were considering buying for my 84 yr. old mom. It was a newer roof but there was evidence of leaks. Josh did a thorough inspection of the roof and found numerous defects in the previous roof workmanship. Consequently, the roof was severely weak and unsafe. This assessment was consistent with the home inspector's report and the visual sagging of the interior ceiling. We have lived in our 110 year old Portland bungalow for 25 years and done many improvement projects over the years. Steve Gibson and Gibson roofing rank among the best we have ever used, and we would absolutely call Steve for a variety of home projects. We contacted seven companies for bids on our new roof, which included a full tear off. Half the house and the garage never had plywood underneath the shingles. We also needed new gutters/downspouts. In addition to that, We needed straightening of the corbels That support the roof above the large front porch. Steve and his crews were able to commit to complete all of these tasks within an agreed upon time frame. We highly recommend Steve Gibson because: 1. After a winter storm blew the top off of our attic fan we called several roof contractors to see if we could get it patched up to prevent water leaking in. Gibson was the only company that called us back. Josh Gibson came by and, free of charge, looked over the roof for other damage, and used a plastic sack and duct tape to do a temporary patch until we could get the whole roof re-shingled. We had another contractor in mind to re-do the roof; one that we had used in the past for our rentals. But Josh really wanted our business. He's only 19, but don't be concerned about his youth, he grew up on roofs and has more experience than people ten years his senior. We had Josh give us an estimate, and got an estimate from our other contractor. Gibson's bid was $4k lower, so it was an easy decision, especially since Josh was so easy to work with and so enthusiastic. The work is finished now and we're very satisfied. Gibson Roofing kept their promises, showed up when they said they would, did the work quickly and effectively, finished on time, and cleaned up the site. The Gibson team was so easy to work with. Prompt bid, good communication and overall attention to the job. I got 4 bids for my job and Gibson's was the least expensive by far. Our job was delayed only slightly due to the unexpected poor condition of the wood; the communication about additional supplies needed and timing for returning to the job was great. EXCELLENT JOB. In March 2016 Gibson Roofing did a complete tear-off and roof replacement within 3 days, and it was done to our satisfaction. Aaron was very thorough in assessing the roof situation, and very accommodating in scheduling the job to fit our time frame. He was the only estimator who actually went up inside to attic to check out the roof from inside. The crew was prompt, hard-working and efficient, and their clean-up was meticulous. There customer service is dreadful. They put a new roof on our home. Within months it started leaking. Of course we don't know this because until our wall started bowing out and stains appeared on our ceiling. I called to make an appointment and it took them over 24hrs to contact me back. They came and told me yes I have a leak. They told me I would be called that day. No call. I called on Monday and they said they hadn't processed the paperwork and couldn't help me. I called on Tuesday, same story. I had to threaten them by telling them I was going to have someone else fix it and Bill them. Within an hour I got a call that they were going to be at my house Friday. We shall see how that goes. read more

The builder of the homes in my neighborhood recommended Gibson to me when a leak developed in our roof. Someone came out and told us we did not have a roof leak, that it was a plumbing issue in the attic. We called a plumber, and $125 later, come to find that yes, it was a roof issue. Gibson came back and admitted they were wrong. They did not reimburse me the money I was out for the plumber, but offered to subtract that amount from any repair costs. That seemed reasonable, except now they won't return my calls and don't show up for appointments that were scheduled. Very unprofessional, incompetent, and basically thieves. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more
