    dead rats

Ever since Heather & Dale left the place has gone down hill. Caring about the welfare of your fellow boarders apparently is a crime. Owners who don't know what they are doing, putting people and ponies in harms way have a high turn over. Oh and yes I got evicted simply for asking if there wasn't something we could do about all the dead poisoned rats. Bad hay, unexplained injuries to our horses while in their stalls, welding going on around horses daily, loose horses getting into everyone's grain. A foal who shouldn't be in a regular stall because she slides under the gate constantly and get out and could easily get hurt, weird shit found in hay bins, most recently a very sick horse brought in to the ranch potentially contaminating or risking other boarders horses just shows an unprecedented level of negligence. Oh and don't forget all the kite flying, hoopla hooping kids spooking horses, people getting drug around the ranch by horses, bucked off and almost killed while under the instruction of the ranch manager. It's seriously one of the most unprofessional establishments I have ever personally experienced in my life.

Jesus worked tirelessly to make my horse comfortable, and I really appreciate his most recent efforts. He installed rubber mat flooring and built containment boards for my stall so the shavings would stay put. Now I don't have to worry about my horse standing in mud when it rains. In addition, Lalo and Rafael, are super helpful and friendly, and are always willing to give any assistance I need. The ever vigilant Butch is a very knowledgeable steward of the herd he manages, and will be the first to notice if your horse is sick. The barn culture is very relaxed and positive and you will feel supported by all the other boarders there. It truly is a loving community of horse lovers. I'm currently working with trainer Sandra, who is skilled and kind. She is really helping my horse become calmer and better every day she works with him. I'm so so happy to have found my happy place at Peacock Hill Ranch.

No drama, everyone who boards are very nice and helpful. Butch is in charge of all the horses and he is very loving towards every horse staying there and very knowledgeable about everything horses. He has stepped in to do shots, bandages, and in between stuff too. The place is ~4 acres with indoor sheds and pipe stalls, huge ring with accessories for all your training and ground work needs.
