I contacted AIS on Yelp and their automated service made scheduling an appointment easy. After I…read morebooked my appointment I received a text and email confirmation. The next day I received a call to confirm my appointment and problem I was having. A repair technician came by in the scheduled appointment window. Jair was my technician and did a great job. When he entered my home he wore shoe covers and was respectful of my home. We discussed the issue I was having with my AC unit. He quickly took a look at my unit and was able to diagnose the issue. He thoroughly explained why it wasn't working and provided me 3 options to consider for repair. He was not pushy to make a sale and answered all the questions I had. I eventually selected which option for repairs and he quickly was able to repair the issue. He tested the unit and everything seemed to work properly. I haven't used my AC unit yet but anticipate it will work when I need it. Jair did a great job and I will use AIS in the future!

Michael Calvey thoroughly explained all of the options for our house's specific HVAC needs and was very patient with me as I asked a variety of questions. In fact, he made numerous trips to our house to answer the constant flow of questions my wife and I had. Bottom line, we built a solid working relationship with Michael and this gave us the comfort we needed to move forward with our HVAC investment. Calvey Heating and Air's estimate for a new heat pump and furnace at our house was very competitive. I was amazed at how much the pricing varied from vendor to vendor. Michael and the Calvey team made the entire process seamless from start to finish. Michael recommended an electrician who did a great job with our electric panel upgrade and the permit team did a fantastic job working with the city for all of the required paperwork. When it came time for the installation, the lead installer, Servando, and his team took pride in their work for the two day install. Similar to Michael, they were patient with me and answered all my questions during the install. Following the install, the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Team promptly arrived and conducted the necessary testing. Lastly, the permit team met with the city building inspector to successfully get the city sign off on all of the work. Throughout the entire process, Calvey Heating and Air did a great job choreographing and managing all aspects of the installation. I was constantly kept informed and Michael and his team visited our house daily during the installation to ensure all was moving forward properly. Lastly, a final walk-through was conducted by Johnny from Calvey ensuring that the install was 100% perfect. Once my wife and I have had time to work with and get familiar with our new system, Michael indicated he will have his team come by our house and balance out our vents if needed and answer any additional questions we may have. Overall, my wife and I cannot be happier with our decision to have Calvey Heating and Air install our new system. Their service was great from start to finish and there were no hiccups. I met Sal, who has such a wonderful and charming personality, and it was great to meet Jack in person, too. Within an hour, I had the full analysis and estimate, and around 2:30, a couple of hours before closed, I was called and told the car wouldn't be finished, and asked if I'd like to come pick it up for the weekend (which I declined, we didn't need it!). The prices were fair, and their system of telling you what absolutely needs work versus what they recommend to be worked on was so great in helping me understand what was wrong with the car. My experience with them made me tell my husband that I'd drive to them if we ever moved out of the area. Had an issue with our AC during the heat wave this past week. Giant HVAC sent out a technician the day after I initially called. Guy called on his way and showed up on time and was great at communicating the whole process as he looked at our system. He figured out the issue right away and explained the reason why my compressor's motor had "locked". I was impressed at his knowledge of these systems and his understanding of how they operate. He also gave me 2 options to get cooling back up and running in our home, I chose to replace the condenser and coil because I want longevity out of this solution. The new AC was installed yesterday and I can't believe how much more effective it is at cooling our home! The price of the new unit is well worth the cost we paid. The install crew was fast, and very tidy. They were very respectful of my home and family. The owner, Joe came by to thank me personally and make sure we were happy with the work after the AC was started. I will be letting everyone I know to call these guys. Very attentive. Giant HVAC was the top contender out of all bids received. Joe responded right away to a request for a bid. Joe came out and looked at our existing antiquated system and provided 3 models of air conditioner/heaters with matching cost estimates. He also evaluated the output to different areas of our house and replaced the ductwork to improve delivery of conditioned air. Joe from Giant HVAC has the best customer service I've experienced in years. In the middle of the heatwave he was able to come out and check our attic to find a huge hole in our air duct. With a temporary short term patch we are seeing huge reflief now. We have a older unit that we know needs replacement and will definately be using Giant HVAC . I'm glad i called Joe to do the HERS duct leakage testing for our home. He's punctual, friendly and respectful. Right after we failed the test, he was up in our attic showing me what needed to be fixed and I appreciated that very much. So good luck when your American HVAC system fails. I am seriously disgusted with this business. I hired Cuinn to install new ducts and they proposed a layout plan we all approved. Upon inspecting the completion of the work I realized the layout was not as we designed but instead was done as it was originally configured which Cuinn claimed was inefficient. I insisted Cuinn include a warranty to which he berated me as a challenge to his business reputation and character. Well look now....total scam. Oh and yes, I found all this out because after only a year there seems to be an issue. I will not be going with Fuse Services. I would rather start fresh with a reputable company that doesn't prey on victims of the bankruptcy. I have no respect for Fuse Services that can't at least offer a free diagnostic - they acquired American HVAC as an asset so they should have at least taken some responsibility.

When he arrived at our townhouse, he treated our home like his own -- booties on, work area protected, and a super organized setup. Our ductless mini split has never looked better. Ryan cleaned the outdoor compressor and the indoor unit with incredible attention to detail, even removing the indoor covers and washing them outside before reinstalling them carefully. He walked us through everything he was doing, which gave us total confidence in the work. He also added drain‑pan tablets to help prevent mildew, and explained why we should consider doing the same ourselves, which was a great bonus. Afterwards, he sent us an online invoice which we could easily settle with ApplePay via my phone. If you want someone who is skilled, respectful, and genuinely meticulous, call Ryan.
