Absolutely clueless people work here. Gave me bad information over the phone and made special trip for nothing.

She's a teenager, so we hardly need the child-proof lids. Sometimes we'll get the regular lids, sometimes we won't. I picked up three prescriptions one time and two had the child-proof lids and one didn't. I've asked them repeatedly not to give us the child-proof caps. I get a rather snotty answer that it's already noted on our profiles. The automated system drives us nuts. It calls when your prescription is ready, which is fine, but it will call for each and every individual Rx. So, if you're waiting on six, you'll get six automated calls, one after the other. The final straw for me, though, was when I went to pick up the kiddo's Rx today. It was called in to the pharmacy yesterday, but still wasn't ready by 11:30 this morning. When I got the automated call, we left to pick it up. We got to the pharmacy at 1:20 and waited in the drive-thru lane for 10 minutes behind two cars. When we FINALLY got to the window, they closed the curtains and told me they were going to lunch! They seriously would not give me the Rx. I was told to come back later after 2:00. (I did, but the line of cars wrapped around the building, and I had just bought ice cream at the store. If it took ten minutes with two cars, I couldn't sit there with six cars ahead of me, so I left). We'll now be going to a different pharmacy for our meds. Unless it needs to be ordered, I should be able to get necessary meds in less than 24 hours from when the doctor calls it in.

I feel sorry for most of the Rite Aid stores I have been to lately. I want to fully support any…read morelocally based organization, but my loyalty can only go so far. This needs to be a two way street. My recent visit to this location just reinforced the notion that I am lumping them in with Kmart, Burger King, and Sears. Oldies, but not Goodies anymore. In other words, is anyone in management, or corporate, paying attention to the current retail times, or the overall weary condition of your stores, and staff? I was very discouraged by their photo developing system. Nothing appears to have changed with their system since the 1980s. I decided to move on to more modern-looking equipment, and products, at another establishment. During my shopping trip to this location, an announcement was repeated several times that the store was being monitored, and, rest assured, you can shop without fear. Two elderly women near me could not make out what was being said, so I kindly interpreted for them . Basically, you can shop here safely, and, while you are at it, don't think about shoplifting. I honestly do not care for this constant reminder. This location must have a high theft incidences or something. Drug stores are constantly trying to bring your business to them. Thank goodness there are other options in this category.

Ferri Family Pharmacy - Love Ferris Deli

Ferri's is a small mum and pop grocery/pharmacy/florist type of store that only the locals of the…read moreM-ville actully go to or are aware of. They have nice weekly sales and friendly people who still bag up your stuff and carry it to your car if you need help. They double coupons and carry my favorite lunch meat Boars Head. They have an on-site butcher, and make their own sausage. I very much try to support local (non-chain) stores as much as possible and love it that just because it is small they still offer a variety of items and are not burning holes in my pockets. I will say I hate their parking lot.. Sorry Ferri's, but it stinks, otherwise it's a great stop and I'm happy it's in my hood...

The prices aren't too bad for their BH products and there is usually some kind of sale. Special tip is if you can go there on Thursdays they usually have their Boars Head Turkey on sale for a great price. The deli people are always nice and I've gotten to know a few of them. I look forward to coming to this deli every week. Other than the deli I look for sales on their chicken, fish, beef, and other meat products. I usually won't buy any meat here unless there is a sale. I love ice cream and they usually either have Breyers, Turkey Hill, or Eddy's on sale. Breyers is my favorite but I will buy the others when they are on sale. Overall I enjoy going to Ferri's because it brings me back to when I was a kid going to the grocery store with my parents. They help customers out to the car if they need help which is great. It's never too busy and it looks like a lot of the workers like their job. If you're looking for a very good deli/grocery store try Ferris it will bring it all back for you!
