I just got a wash and when the worker was drying my car with a rag he completely knocked my side mirror out of place. he tried for 10 minutes to put it back into place then told me its not his problem and that he didn't do anything. when I said I have them on video he offered to tape it back into place. the car is brand new and this isnt my first car wash. do not go here save your money for a better one read more

I visited this car wash by recommendation from a friend. There be a line of cars to enter. Then a man will ask for your which service you are getting. I paid around $44.95 plus tip of $10 thinking my service of washing the car and vacuuming will do the vehicle some justice. Just a exterior wash with wax was not worth the amount. The machine barely uses any soap or wax. It's good if you want a quick wash. Warning depending on the time of day you go it can have a line and the line is ridiculous because it stops traffic. They can do so much better. I paid for outside and inside cleaning, including wheel clean. It cost 14.95$. The problem is that the inside wasn't clean enough, the outside wasn't clean enough, and the wheel weren't clean. I mean they were cleaner than before, but no clean. They left many unclean spots, and since there were so many spots, I couldn't ask them to clean it. If it was one or two spots, I could ask them to clean i9t, but there were just too many. And the funny thing that in the cleaning area, after you exit the automatic machine, there were only my car and one more car. SO it is not that they had too much to do. The quality of the work is lacking, especially for the price. There were still crumbs in some very open and easily accessible places that should have been vacuumed up. Surfaces were hastily wiped, leaving giant pools of wetness all over the dash. Furthermore, the line to get in spills into the street, creating an awful mess of angry pedestrians as most drivers don't care to leave much room to walk by. Having now been on both ends of this experience I can say it's no fun either way. I know it's Brooklyn and space is limited but this is just not cool. I had the "super" car wash for 24.95. It left the car dirty inside, the passenger seat was dirty, cracker crumbs on the console, crumpled paper on the back floor, miscellaneous crumbs around the floor. Outside, the car still had dirt that I could rub loose with my finger, on the door, on the fender and on the top edges of the car. I documented all these items with photos. There was a sign at the end of the wash to see the outside supervisor or manager if the customer was not satisfied. The outside person brushed off the passenger seat with his rag but said the stuff on the roof was sticky (and therefore would not remove it). Big car wash on Coney Island Ave- entrance can get jammed as the distance from the wash entrance to the sidewalk can only fit 3 cars max. Making a left into the lot if you're coming from Coney Ave is difficult during rush hour so it's advisable to loop around via Cortelyou Rd then make 2 quick rights to Ave C so you can just make turn into the lot without holding up traffic. Wash took 10 minutes and my car looks brand new. Some places do give you free air freshener tho so one star off this place for not doing the same. One of the detail guys got snippy when I asked him to wipe down the portion where the dash meets the windshield inside. Whatevs, no tip for you then Cranky! You get a free wash here if you get your car serviced at the Jiffy Lube down the block. read more

I used go here at night after 7p to just to get the outside washed and for that, the automated system works pretty well. The only human intervention for that service are the hand dryers guys after you come out of the wash system. Unlike other reviews who claim they were not there, I've always had two guys drying. How well they do that is always a toss up -- I would give that the two stars maybe 3, i.e., fair to pretty good. But things have changed -- that was when it was $5 and when I was having it wash a 12 yr old Toyota Corolla. Now it's $9, so not the same kind of great bargain. I have used the full service during the day and that is what BARELY gets 2 stars. I have to concur with the many other reviewers, they do a pretty shoddy job on the interior -- crumbs & dirt can be found in all kinds of places, many that were in plain sight...really unacceptable. That was enough of a disappointment to not waste my money any more on full service and just get out the vacuum cleaner and do it myself. But now I just got a 2019 Civic Touring Sport and no way am I going to let it go thru that automated washing machine. It is hand washing now all the way and application of polymer protectant by hand...either my hand or the nephews, but not by whirring mechanical brushes beating on the brand new paint surface! read more

First of all, the guy spraying the car when I first get there tells me I'm supposed to get out of the car, go to the office to pay, and HE will take my car through the wash. Ummm, NO. Especially not when you've got a huge sign saying you're not responsible for anything that might go missing, like cd players or GPSs. So I insist on remaining in the car. They did a lot of running around both before and after the machines, yet managed to leave the outside of the car dripping wet, leaving streaks everywhere. They didn't bother to wash either of my side view mirrors, either, so they remained dirty. Then I tried doing some rubbing compound work, and when wiping off the compound, there was dirt all over the rag! And it costs $8. Giant Car Wash SUCKS. They damaged my car twice. First they scratched the car - a really long fine scratch - because they drop towels and pick them up off the ground with dirt, debris, and gravel. They lamely shake the towels clean and then dry your car with it. Today they scratched the trunk of my car (stupid me for going back). They stole a freaking "baby on board' magnet off the car. They are 24/7, prices are very reasonable, and they do a solid 4 star service. I actually prefer to wash my car myself, and only go to these car washes after a big rain or during the Winter, etc. If you pay base price for a basic wash the car never comes out perfect at any of these places. So I don't expect perfection. A few times late at night they refused to give me a receipt, giving me some lame "broken register" excuse instead. My sister went to Giant Car wash. She paid $35.00 because she wanted her rug shampooed. All these people did was vacuum the inside of her car. When she called the manager to show him the never shampooed rug,he got an attitude. The worker also got an attitude. My sister had to keep pointing out things that were not cleaned. Absolutely terrible service; the driver's side of the vehicle was totally flooded with foam that had come in from a front vent they had not checked to make sure was closed. The bottom rug was wet, I called the manager over (which took 10 minutes and having to ask many people, including the cashier) and he not only couldn't be bothered to at least apologize, he wouldn't take any steps to correct the matter. None of the guys drying it seemed even slightly bothered, they all just walked away as soon as I started pointing out the problem. Very Clean and great service, I have had my car cleaned and detailed at this location for the past 3 years love the Manager he always has the time to say hi to me and the staff is great if you ask them for anything they are more then happy to do it for you.
