GREAT DELICIOUS PIZZA. I can see why this place is popular. We called in at 7pm for a pizza order and they said to pick up at 8:05pm. Ordered the classic pan pizza and cheesecake. When we got there, there were at least four other people waiting for their pizza. Crust was perfect and cheese and toppings were just delicious and mouth watering. They give a good amount of toppings on their pizzas. Their cheesecake was okay, I'll try the carrot cake the next time around. I highly recommend this place!! read more

When I delivered my son at central dupage hospital about a year ago my husband and I were starving and the hospitals dinner options were not appealing. We ordered deep dish from here It was the best deep dish pizza I've had. Even better than the most well known pizza chains in Chicago .... flash forward to today, it's 9:30 am and I'm currently admitted to CDH a year later and am patiently waiting till this place opens to place my order. Every one on here is right. Gionorio's is the best pizza around! End of story. And the desserts are out of this world. Great carrot cake! Great banana cream pie! Gianorio's is the best!!!! I've lived in the Chicago area my entire life and I've eaten at my fair share of pizza places, but none of them come close to Gianorio's. We ordered a double dough pizza last week and it was ok. The young girl on the phone was very nice so this is why I'm giving this review a 4 because of the friendliness of the person who took the order. The pizza was just dough barely any sauce and cheese. Every bite was just dough. I know we ordered double dough but we have ordered double dough from other places and they know how to evenly coat the pizza with sauce and cheese so every bite is filled with flavor not just dough. I will try this place again and order something else next time maybe a thin crust or deep dish. read more

In my opinion they are the best Pizza shop in the western suburbs. The sauce tastes home made and I appreciate the efficiency of the operation. Anytime I have guests over, this is the first place I think of and have received rave reviews!!. The ultra think crust with onions garlic and sausage is awesome. This is why we love Yelp. We just moved to the area, and wanted to find a local pizza place to try. Based on other yelpers, we tried Gianorios. It is fantastic! Just like other reviewers have said, Grandma literally works in the kitchen, she was making pizza dough the day we picked up the pizza. And oh, the pizza. It's wonderful. High quality toppings (we had a 6-topping combo, and a sausage/pineapple/garlic pizza, and a sausage/pepperoni), the sauce is sweet and not too acidic, and the crust is great. Just all around awesome pizza, first place we've found that we like better than Gino's East. And man, you really really have to get the Carrot cake, we will stop by after school now just to pick up some dessert. lastly, a few older reviews say cash only, but they DO now accept visa and mastercard. read more

I have had pizza all over Chicagoland. Grew up in the city with Gino's, Uno's, Home Run Inn, Giordano's, etc. Have had pizza from every little place in the Western Suburbs and this place is hands down the best. i have had it for several of my parties and now people from 25 miles away come out here to pick up this pizza. I discovered this place when they first opened in 1988 and I had just moved about a mile away and have been going back ever since. In 24 years of pizza, every pizza has been fantastic. And believe me, that is alot of pizza to get right. A couple of weeks ago, had a taste testing party against Al's Pizza in Warrenville. Their pizza was really good, but Gianorio's was the unequivocal winner. Keep up the Good Work Guys. Also, love, love, love the Pepper and Egg sandwiches at the Downtown Deli. Well, after my initial review, I decided to give Gianorio's a second chance. Good god was that a smart move! I made them repeat my order, so they got it right. When I grabbed my box of stuffed pizza, it was heavier than a phone book! When it came to the taste, it was incredible. The cheese is perfect, the sauce is amazing, and the pepperoni incredible. I'm not a big fan of the crust though, I still prefer Malnati's crust because it's buttery and they use corn meal. I will definitely be making Gianorio's one of my go-to joints for stuffed pizza. I'm glad I gave them a second chance, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone considering going! read more

Ordered a medium thin crust pepperoni pizza. There was a lot of cheese which I'm not a fan of. I thought the crust was soggy. Wasn't a huge fan of the sauce. I have since been told the deep dish is the way to go. So I will go back again. The service was excellent and I thought it was reasonable. read more

Great pizza some of the best crust I have ever had! Pizza did cause a lot of heartburn in our house later on though! Really bad hours! So make sure you are not ordering to late. I was really excited because of all the reviews being so high. Ordered a regular crust half mushroom half sausage easy sauce. I thought that the sausage was of high quality and the mushrooms no problem there...however...light sauce should be for the whole pizza not just sections of it. Bit into a piece of mushroom and sauce spilled out upon my bite. I'm just not a fan of a lot of sauce and it should have been made properly. I also wasn't a fan of the amount of cheese on my pizza. Seemed light for the amount of money pizzas sell for here. Maybe I'll give them another shot in the future but to me it's not 5 stars. There are better options in the area. read more

I have to take off one star for no delivery option. It's pizza, sometimes I want to be lazy. Other than that, this place is awesome. Buffalo chicken pizza is amazing. Bacon great. Cheese top notch. Pretty much cannot go wrong here. I've tried some odd combinations and everyone still liked it. Making myself hungry now. If you live anywhere near here or even drive somewhat close on the way home, pickup some pizza and your family will love it. Update: tried their frozen pizzas! They are great. Haven't had any frozen pizza that has crust like that. Nice golden brown color and tastes great. They are a little small, but should suffice for two. EXCELLENT pizza! The first time I picked up our order from here I hadn't realized that they also had desserts available - but that was ok, because they've got some available when you pick up your pizza. The pizza itself is great - nice amount of cheese and toppings. When we moved to this area we just ordered from the closest pizza place - but after talking to several other Winfield residents, Gianorios was always mentioned as the place to get pizza. Probably the best option in Winfield/Wheaton. VERY easy to miss this place due to its size (carry-out only) but don't pass it up. Great crust and even better sauce make this a staple for me. Best pizza in DuPage for sure. Definitely in my top 3 for all of Chicagoland. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. Also, the frozen pizzas are better than a lot of the pizzas from other pizza. Try the calzones. And it was always great to see Mama Gianorio back there. I grew up across the street so it was our go to for Friday pizza night for the better part of 20+ years. Moved away from Winfield almost 10 years ago and still haven't found anything that comes close to Gianorios, doubt I will. Still order every now and then, still as good as i remember it. read more
