Mr Giannotti & front desk come across as rude, unprofessional and lack any type of tack or…read morecompassion for their patients.. that is my Personal experience & Mr. Giannotti can have as many patients try to discredit & bad mouth my review, but doesn't change my experience and how I was treated. The only ignorance being shown is people who tolerate this kind of behavior.. best of luck to any future patients! Side note: this platform is for people to share their own personal experience/ interactions with businesses not for other clients / patients who like the business owner to attack and bash other reviewers experiences... just because you work in the medical industry, doesn't mean you're qualified to come on here and attack other people for their own personal experience at the establishment. So before you start preaching about ignorance, maybe take a hard look in the mirror and remember what this platform is intended for.. but again, this just proves my point that this is the type of toxic male energy that this establishment attracts. Again.... Everybody has their own opinion and their own choice to go where they want to go to receive services, but It doesn't mean you can try and attack or bash other peoples experiences on here Mr Warren R...lol joke!

I've been coming here for years. I've always been on time for my appts. I've never seen the dr on…read moretime, however. This didn't bother me as I "get it." I recently moved 80 miles away from this office, but have reason to come back to SV so I kept my appt. Yesterday after driving 80 miles for this appt, hwy 17 had an incident that was going to make me 15 mins late. I called 1 hour ahead of my appt and informed of this. The front desk person informed they would likely not be able to see me. I explained I was 10 miles away but blocked. Anyhow... I showed 15 mins late and was refused service. I thought my family established a relationship with this place over the years to where we could work it out. It appears it's just an act, but as I said above, I "get it." I wouldn't be as agitated if I'd been "taken back" on-time just once for all these years. IMO, the vibe of this office changed with the attrition of the front desk folks, but what do I know, I am the fool that drove 80 miles for customer loyalty.

Eye Q - There was a lot of difference in opacity between the second pair of Blackfin and my old Beckhams on the right.

I want to say the Dr. Richter, and the optometrist assistants working behind the scenes were great…read more They were very good, great customer service, and listened to all of my concerns. The prescription was spot on. The opticians were a mixed bag. The first man I worked with had some great selections in frames for distance, and a great recommendation for my reading glasses. They let me know my sunglasses would be on backorder. Not a big deal as I bought a pair of fliptops from Amazon to get by. My reading glasses and clear distance pair were ready in about 3 weeks later. The second optician on pickup was also very courteous and accurate with the adjustments which were basically none for me. The distance frames fit like a glove. Both the reading and distance were well done. So the sunglasses went by 3 weeks without any word. No big deal as I know tarriffs are affecting everyone. A month went by, but I decided to give it some extra time. Finally I texted in after seven weeks to ask if there was an update from the lab. They texted back that the sunglasses were in. Somewhat strange as I didn't get any notification that they arrived. The third optician was courteous, but decided to adjust my nose pads. This caused the sunglasses to ride high out of my comfort zone, and I decided to readjust them at home so they matched my distance pair. Second, the tint of the sunglasses was way off in opacity and didn't match my old pair. I was disappointed in that based on the price point. So now my flip tops are on the sunglasses to help cut down on the bright sunshine. Because of this I do have to knock off a couple of points. I am going to try my prescription online to see if I have better results for sunglasses later on this year.
