I want to say the Dr. Richter, and the optometrist assistants working behind the scenes were great. They were very good, great customer service, and listened to all of my concerns. The prescription was spot on. The opticians were a mixed bag. The first man I worked with had some great selections in frames for distance, and a great recommendation for my reading glasses. They let me know my sunglasses would be on backorder. Not a big deal as I bought a pair of fliptops from Amazon to get by. My reading glasses and clear distance pair were ready in about 3 weeks later. The second optician on pickup was also very courteous and accurate with the adjustments which were basically none for me. The distance frames fit like a glove. Both the reading and distance were well done. So the sunglasses went by 3 weeks without any word. No big deal as I know tarriffs are affecting everyone. A month went by, but I decided to give it some extra time. Finally I texted in after seven weeks to ask if there was an update from the lab. They texted back that the sunglasses were in. Somewhat strange as I didn't get any notification that they arrived. The third optician was courteous, but decided to adjust my nose pads. This caused the sunglasses to ride high out of my comfort zone, and I decided to readjust them at home so they matched my distance pair. Second, the tint of the sunglasses was way off in opacity and didn't match my old pair. I was disappointed in that based on the price point. So now my flip tops are on the sunglasses to help cut down on the bright sunshine. Because of this I do have to knock off a couple of points. I am going to try my prescription online to see if I have better results for sunglasses later on this year. read more

Very disappointed with Eye Q. I have worn contacts and glasses for 42 years and have had eye exams on an annual basis. I understand it gets more difficult to fit for contacts as a patient gets older, but the doctor needs to take the time to do what is necessary to ensure they get the prescription right. My doctor, Dr. Vasquez, did not take the time necessary to ensure she obtained the proper multi-focal prescription for me. This resulted in many headaches for me, having to return for another exam and new prescription (for which she made me feel like she was doing me a favor), and re-charging me for the exam. Moreover, to add insult to injury, when I placed the order for my contacts, the person on the phone told me I would get a $300 rebate if - and only if - I ordered a year supply. I ordered a year supply of the contacts, which cost $1300, never received any information about the so-called $300 rebate, and then had to take all of the contact lens for the right eye back as they were the WRONG PRESCRIPTION. When I got the correct prescription for the right eye, I asked for a new receipt to submit for the rebate and received the following response: Hello Julie, We are unable to manipulate the date of purchase on our statements. Since the original date of purchase was in October, the exchange would fall under that date as well. We would recommend reaching out to Alcon to assist you further with your rebate. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Thank you, EyeQ Optometry Manipulate the date of purchase?! I returned 4 boxes of contacts because the doctor got the prescription wrong, and I had to order 4 new boxes. However, upon learning that the person on the phone lied to me and that the rebate was only for $100 (not $300), I don't care about the rebate. It should be $300 when you spend $1300 on a year supply of contacts! Suffice it to say I will not be going back to this awful place filled with inept, incompetent practitioners and deceitful staff. I suggest you look elsewhere too. read more

Best eye experience I've ever had. Everyone here Is eager to make sure they take good care of you. I've never had a better experience picking out frames-they didn't just turn me loose to try on a bunch of stuff and figure it out for myself. Instead, they asked me my price range and pulled what they thought would look good on me (and fit with my prescription) and then worked one-on-one until I was happy with the choices. This was the easiest eye appointment I've ever had. The tests were not uncomfortable. I usually hate the one where they shoot a puff of air into your eye. Their test does not do that. I really liked Dr. Kim - she's very knowledgable and friendly. Picking out glasses was so much fun and I absolutely love them! Getting lots of compliments. read more

I chose Dr. Noel on the recommendation that he specialized in astigmatism. Best decision I ever made. Always a warm reception, excellent screening, and great customer service. And talk about a frame selection. Incredible! Just about every style you can think of. My go-to person for getting my frames and lenses dialed in is Drien, they are so thorough! The exam was state of the art (no dilating your eyes, got to see a photo of the back of my eyeball for my skin cancer screening), the staff were respectful and knowledgeable, and LOVED the selection of stylish glasses. I really appreciate that they don't just abandon you to try to find frames on your own like I've had at other places: (if you want) they provide a personal shopper experience and bring you selections, walk you through the pros and cons, discuss what your insurance covers and the costs of each frame - super helpful when making a decision like this... I'm so happy with my experience at this clinic. I was taken back on time and the technician who did my pretest was efficient. Dr. Vasquez was very patient, and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions (I asked a lot) regarding myopia control options. On top of this, sometimes doctors get frustrated when you ask them to show you 2 options 10 times during the prescription dial part but Dr. Vasquez was invaluable and cheerful throughout the process. 10/10 Experience and I recommend her services if you come to this clinic!! read more

First of all, I've been coming here for years and have worked with different folks. I've always had a great experience and have had 6 pairs of glasses. Every staff member has always been so helpful, calm and kind. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The team is great at giving great feedback, understanding my needs, helping me understand the finances and options, and is overall a great folks to work with. This is my "go to" Opthalmology "store". Dr. Vasquez is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and un-hurried. I feel like she is completely focused on me throughout the exam. I have been a patient at EyeQ for several years and have appreciated their thorough and careful eye care. Recently I had to use a different optometry business and recognized just how much better EyeQ is! In addition to good medical care, they have the best selection of frames. Not a week goes by that I do not receive compliments on my glasses. Because of a bony tumor behind one ear, it is difficult to adjust my glasses so they are comfortable. I have been seeing Dr Noel Krok since they first opened in 2000 (?). He really takes his time and carefully examined you, makes sound and sensible advice, and very caring. When he is not available, his colleagues, Dr Stephanie Krok and Dr Shen are both very competent and you get the same kind of service. I have seen many other staff come and go over R the last 24 years but always very nice staff. I highly recommend. read more

I had' t been for eye check in a while and I was nervous. no need to be here, this place is the best. guess I can give most credit to employees...from reception, to my tech (m???), opticians (Sam and Phil), to dr V. all were professional yet friendly, and knew their stuff, explained everything in a way I could understand, gave me plenty of time, so they could guide me to the best decisions for me. especially Dr. V, a sharp and patient woman. I have some unusual issues with my eyes that she was knowledgable about and took her time in explaining. the office was clean and seemed to have state of the art equipment. nice selection of reasonably priced frames. Every time I see someone with eyewear that looks exceptionally good, I ask them where they got them. Almost every single time the answer is "Eye Q". I always get my glasses at Costco because the service and price is so good, but never IN MY LIFE have I had such an incredibly cool, hip and fun pair of glasses as the ones I'm wearing now from "Eye Q". I went in without an appointment and was served immediately. These folks know their stuff - wowza! They first checked my insurance and found eyewear benefits I didn't even know about! Woo hoo! Then I chose a few pairs to try on while they patiently explained the pluses and minuses of each choice. Then they had me try on a pair of their choice. And YEEEEOW! They're bold, they make a statement and I would have NEVER tried them on my own. And they look great on me . And now people stop and ask me where I got my glasses! read more

Took my son for an eye exam and glasses. Everything seemed to go well, we paid for everything and were told they'd call when his glasses came in. A couple of weeks later, went in and picked up his glasses, we were told we were all good to go. Then we get a bill in the mail for an eye exam, we already paid for his eye exam at the time of service but they are billing us for some "medical test" they claim to have performed. Whatever this test was, they performed it without asking, not a word was mentioned to me and they most certainly DID NOT have authorization. Now they want an additional $89 for some special test that I did not approve and insurance does not cover. We will NEVER return to this crooked office, future patients beware! read more
