I stopped by for brunch on a Tuesday morning around 10:30. The café is located near the Fulham Broadway underground station and some other shops and cafés, including a Caffè Nero. It was pretty busy on the ground floor when I arrived; a lot of the seats were taken, but I didn't have to wait in line to order, and I had my pick of window seats. There's also outdoor seating, but it had rained that morning so no one was outside.
I got a flat white and the poached eggs with San Daniele ham, pear slices, and gorgonzola. It's a pay-at-the-counter café, but the woman at the cash register told me to have a seat and she'd bring me my order. My flat white came out quickly, and was followed by my food a few minutes later. Everything was really tasty and beautifully presented. The café had a nice, comforting atmosphere and the woman working there was really nice, checking in on me once while I ate. She also chatted knowledgeably about coffee with some of the customers.
I picked up an apricot croissant to take away before I left (I'd never seen an apricot croissant before) and it was smashing; there was only 1 left by the time I ordered mine. I only saw the downstairs but it looked like there was upstairs seating too, as well as toilets upstairs. The prices are a bit high, but it's high quality food in London, and it wasn't outrageous by any means. I would definitely recommend stopping by here if you're ever in the area. read more
