Best pizza in Mooresville! Great food and fast, friendly service. Unique pies with interesting flavors, and we try new ones pretty often. Always something new to enjoy!

Ordered the Sicilian pizza. It's awful, don't order that. Thick as a brick, burnt on the bottom. Really inedible. Another issue I've been experiencing is that they are super skimpy in toppings. Hardly anything gets in the pizza. They've gone downhill. Avoid.

    Peach please IPA

We ordered the Vida Loca pizza, and it didn't disappoint! The chorizo and jalapeños were fresh, giving it a nice kick. They have a wide variety of pizza options, so there's something for everyone. I also had a couple of drinks--the Knight to Remember stout was okay, but the Peach Please IPA was very fruity and not my favorite.

    Wildcat Special without peppers. Delish!

Stopped by here within about an hour of closing time and were readily welcomed by the staff. They have a good selection of beer that could pretty much meet any palate's need. I enjoyed a Belgian beer and I was really happy with their pizza. Even more impressive - if you see an ingredient on one of their pizzas that you want to substitute they basically do it at no charge!!! Had the Wildcat Special and when no peppers was requested, they offered to double the mushrooms. Amazing! Crust was fabulous and even though this was ordered close to closing time, it came out meticulously made and perfect. Great spot to grab pizza and a beer. I'll be back

The burnt bottom and melted plastic ware.

We went there on our date night. My wife had the wings, she liked them Alot. We also order triangle mozzarella, they were also good. We got the wings and triangles within 10 minutes. I also ordered a chicken Parmesan calzone. After waiting 20 minutes after we got the wings and mozzarella triangles,I went to the counter to ask where my calzone was, the girl went to the kitchen to ask where it was, she told me it would be 3 more minutes. Well 10 minutes later they brought it out. The bottom was burnt, and the PLASTIC eating ware melted when I tried to cut it, it would not cut, so I asked for real silver ware, I was told they don't use that. We will not be going back there anymore.

We even bought a cool tin rack.

Recently ate at Ghostface, found the food was delicious and the service was excellent. I had the Philly cheesesteak calzone and ,my wife enjoyed a meatball sub. I had a yummy peach IPA and she enjoyed a peach cider. Maybe the best part was grilled Brussels sprouts, they were wonderful. We will definitely go back.

Not Ghost Face Brewing or Beer Lab but actually a whole 'nother different place entirely...

You won't find that anywhere in North Carolina, and Davino's isn't trying to be that. What it is? The best pizza in the Lake Norman area. This perfect little hole-in-the-wall has great specials and consistently solid pizza. The crust hits that ideal balance of crisp and chew, the toppings are generous, and the flavor never disappoints. I can (unfortch) house half an 18-inch pizza myself. But what truly sets Davino's apart is their generosity and community spirit. Right at the front counter, they post a simple message: if you're hungry and don't have money, a meal has already been paid for you. Prepaid tickets hang there - some for two slices and a soda, others even for a full build-your-own 18" pizza. It's a beautiful, tangible act of kindness that can make a real difference for families in need. Makes my heart happy. Great pizza. Great people. A place that genuinely cares about its community. Wouldn't mind if they upgraded their fries to the crinkle cut kind they show on their website and not the long John silver kind, but I'll make do with the 'za. I'm proud to keep supporting Davino's.

I was seated facing the kitchen in a booth. I just loved the decor with the bricks, open kitchen, and warehouse ceiling. The wood, beams and bricks were reclaimed materials from Manhattan, adds old world charm. The Easter decorations were a nice touch. My amazing waitress created me a mocktail with ginger beer and cranberry. It was colorful and wonderful. It had some tang to it. The Italian restaurant has Neopolitan pizzas and Italian dishes. It was so hard deciding what to select from the menu. If I hadn't just had shrimp, the shrimp scampi would have been what I ordered. Then there was a lasagna with a bechamel sauce I really wanted. But the pizza won out. My waitress talked me into the salad I was debating, too. The salad was Dolce Crostata. It has mixed lettuce, goat cheese, pancetta, candied pecans and golden raisins. I like the salads with fruit, and this one was wonderful. Novanta means 90 in Italian, which is the 90 seconds it takes to cook the pizza. It goes into the 900-degree Italian wood-fired oven. The pizza was a true Neapolitan with the soft, airy crust and a little bit of char on it. It tasted as good as it looked. I wanted a second pizza after my first slice, but I had trouble finishing the first and had to take half of the salad to go. I did love every bite of the margherita pizza and salad. If I lived closer, I'd eat here weekly as the food is that good. This is a hidden gem.

This is a large restaurant with a great open layout, which makes it perfect for big groups and families. The outdoor seating area is especially nice, with comfortable chairs and a relaxed atmosphere where people can sit and enjoy themselves without feeling rushed. Inside, the place has a modern warehouse-style feel with brick, wood, and open kitchen views. You can actually see the pizza ovens working, which is always a good sign. The dining room has energy without feeling chaotic, and the sanitation rating posted up front was a solid A (96.0), which always gives you a little extra peace of mind. Our server Jessica was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We started with the meatballs and burrata crostini. I couldn't eat the burrata because of the dairy, but the meatballs were outstanding--very meaty, rich flavor and a terrific tomato sauce. A great start to the meal. My wife had the house salad, which looked very fresh. Mixed greens, tomatoes, and peas--simple but well done. She skipped the onions, which they handled without any issue. For the main course, she ordered the Marinara pizza, and it was excellent. The sauce had great flavor and the pizza had that classic Neapolitan look--thin center, charred edges, and simple ingredients done right. She enjoyed the whole thing. I had the calzone and paired it with a local beer, "What He's Having" IPA from Wooden Robot Brewing in Charlotte, which was a great choice. The calzone itself tasted very good, but it was a little uneven on the filling. I ordered double pepperoni, and one side had most of it while the other side had very little. That said, the crust and flavor were still very enjoyable. Overall, everything was very good. The atmosphere is lively, the food is flavorful, and it's a great spot if you're dining with a group or family. Bottom line: Novanta is a fun, energetic Italian spot with solid Neapolitan-style pizza, a welcoming environment, and good service. Definitely worth a visit.
