He was able to put me in some easy entry/exit Salomon's. While we were waiting for the footbeds to warm up, he was able to find the exact skis I was looking for. It took maybe an hour to complete the transaction. After a few days on the mountain, my ski boots became to loose. Without an appointment, I walked in and explained my situation. You may or may not be able to find parking nearer to the shop. If not, there is a spot to turn around and come back out onto the street. The shop itself is tucked more towards the back on the right-hand side. They sell longboards. If you're looking for a skateboard, you'll need to look elsewhere. Because it's a smaller shop they don't have as large of an accessories inventory as others might have, but if you're buying and assembling a longboard there, you'll likely receive a discount on accessories. ------ Update: I returned today and purchased another longboard. They were efficient building the board to my liking and patient as I tested a few different boards out. Dalton was there today and helped me out quite a bit. He was both friendly and able to clearly explain things to me. I like that this shop offers variety and carries high quality boarding supplies. P.S. They're expanding their store to include bikes. A misleading ad about a ski package led me order it. The description was of skis and bindings and…read moreall the pictures showed the bindings mounted on the skis. There was one package price listed. I ordered them as such. I then received a shipping notification for the bindings with a separate price. I called immediately to cancel the order as I knew that having bindings mounted was not cheap. This was not what I budgeted for. I was told that everything was shipped, so the order could not be cancelled, but to call back when I received everything for an adjustment or to return the equipment. Btw, when ordering I was offered a 15% coupon, but then at checkout was told it didn't apply to my order. When I received the order, I checked with local ski shops and $100 was the lowest price I could find for mounting. I spent a half hour on the phone with a polite, understanding customer service rep inquiring about some type of credit. $25 was the offer. I pointed out how the ad was misleading, an offered coupon was not honored, and it would cost them more if I returned everything. I simply wanted at least half of the mounting cost reimbursed. The most frustrating aspect of this customer service interaction was that a supervisor will not get on the phone. The poor rep had to keep going back and forth. When she told me she could escalate the issue to a supervisor, I readily agreed, but she pointed out they would respond by email! THEY WILL NEVER GET ON THE PHONE AND SPEAK WITH SOMEONE!!! Sorry, that's horrible policy and I would discourage anyone from patronizing this business.

Since there were none available in my size, I received a refund (based on package pricing (about $80). If I want to get a larger size boot, I need to select another model/brand and pay the regular (non-package deal price), which means will need to spend approximately $200 more for a comparable boot, not including the $44 it cost to ship the first pair back. I do not recommend purchasing boots if you are not absolutely sure of the size you need. When I asked about the return, customer service said "We always recommend to go in and try different boots on before purchasing online". I was never given (nor saw online) this recommendation.

He talked me through the sizing requirements I needed to acquire for my bike. I found a new tire and I sent the old tires back. Bubba made sure that I was taken care of by paying shipping and handling both ways, and also paid the difference in the amount for the new tires. Once I heard about how environmental friendly the poles were and how the company work I was sold. I bought the entry level model. What has impressed me the most is Soul Poles warranty and customer service. They offer a 2 year replacement warranty in the event you break one. After that expires they will re-shaft the Poles for a nominal fee. I am really hard on poles, I like doing silly things like sitting on them while skiing to kick up a rooster tail. I broke a pole in that first season. I had fallen and while using it to get back up on my skis it splintered. As bad as that is the important thing to realize is that it only splinter and didn't break in half like a normal aluminum pole might have or bent beyond use. I used a voile strap to patch it and continued skiing. Thankfully Soul Pole was visiting Alta the following weekend for Earth Day. I showed up and they were able to repair it slope side! No charge no questions. Their shop is located in Park City. I highly recommend calling first if you are going in person. They have limited hours and there isn't always someone in the shop. Calling ahead insures no wasted trip. Fast forward 4 seasons. This year the bamboo split lengthwise. I think taking them back to Wisconsin with the high humidity messes with the bamboo. I called and emailed to determine when to stop by. Email worked best, got back to me promptly. Made an appointment, went up and got both shafts replace and new baskets for a friends poles. Out the door for $20!!! You just can't go wrong! PLUS, he engraved the Alta logo back into my shafts! Very happy. I have a second pair which are the Soul Pole Lite. Got them with a ski purchase. I prefer the grips and strap of the Lites. More maneuverable and a better feel in the hand. I won't own a different brand ever! Counter people are friendly, helpful and enthusiastic! Soul Pole is the way to go!

Voile has some GREAT people working for them…read more I broke a binding while touring in Grand Teton NP. Luckily, I was able to rig it up with one of the famous Voile Straps and continue the trip. I reached out via Instagram and told them what happened. Without any question they said they'd be happy to, not only fix it, but to upgrade both my bindings. I dropped of my bindings and picked them up a couple of days later. Might as well been brand new bindings. They made the whole experience great and I truly appreciate how quickly they made it happen. Didn't miss a single day of touring!

Bisect that sucker with a skil saw, drill some holes and pray for snow. You aren't really serious about becoming a tele skier are you?
