Ghost Fox Winery opened its doors in Nicholasville, Kentucky recently and you'll want to go visit. Utilizing grapes from California, they make some wonderful whites, reds and sparkling wines. Pair with their charcuterie for an afternoon or evening of fun with friends. Sample a flight and choose your favorite from their award winning wines. Sit out on their amazing patio with a lovely view. At Ghost Fox Winery they believe that wine is not just a beverage but a story waiting to be told.

Got to visit Ghost Fox Winery tonight for a private event and check it out before its grand opening. This place is beautiful!! The space is decorated so bright and welcoming. It's a perfect place to come hang out at or host an event at. Make sure you try the merlot, it's my favorite!

My friends and I visited this winery a while ago, and I really can't wait to go back. They are a new winery near the Lexington area and a definite stop if you are visiting wineries in the area. The tasting room and porch area has a lot of sitting space, as well as seating at the bar. I really can't wait to go back as the weather gets warmer and use the outdoor space. They do have more dry wines than sweet, but they were delicous. They have an unoaked chardonnay that I enjoyed. They do have cocktails available as well. The charcuterie board was also very good. We split it between our group and found it was enough between pairs. The owners talked with us as we sampled and were very kind and knowledgeable.

We booked it for both a corporate event for our California business and also a personal party in 2015 to entertain friends within a one hour flight from Chicago. I was referred to it by a guy in New York who was looking for a place to entertain two sets of clients, one in in Lexington and one in Louisville, at a central location around the Oaks and to do the Bourbon trail one day. It is a midpoint location part way between. They have a unique high ceiling apartment rental next door that I think you can rent in conjunction with the event space. The unit is huge. I stayed one day while I was siting my party weekend. That makes for a great place for the wedding party say or to entertain the most important clients at your event. Both the space and the loft are very unique and have a much younger/modern vibe compared to the traditional decor and architecture for this town. There is a good Mexican restaurant next door. I really liked the open layout, you could decorate it however you liked if you wanted to do a theme, but it also looks great with the minimalist shop lights and functional sliding warehouse-style door. I don't want to quote prices because it probably depends but I was surprised how reasonable it was, talk to them yourself... The primary drawbacks as I see it is there is nothing else to rent like this within 20 miles, so I probably will have to rent it several years in advance and I tend to have a hard time planning work events too far in advance so it may be booked before my 16 and 17 event is planned. I talked to Kevin, who was very informative and down to earth. I met with an owner there also who happened to be dropping by to weigh in on some details. He is a broker in this town and said he did this as a creative outlet (enjoys rehabbing historic properties) and to increase the demand for permanent housing nearby as he is an investor, so that is how he can justify to rent it out at what I calc'd to be below-market rates for this type of space. If you like modern style, high ceilings and flexible space with a nod to the past and walkability to nearby goods and services(huge factor for us) is a big consideration for you, this is your thing. Check it out for yourself ... I think you will agree with what I am saying though- the place is sharp and this town had needed something like it for a long time. Look forward to many events here.

Quaint and in the heart of sweet Shelbyville! Don't know much about price range of renting the venue but it's worth checking into for any private party or quaint wedding!!! Down side to the location is finding it! But- once you do- it so neat and special!!! To the owners- you may want to paint the back door a funky bright color for parkers that park behind the venue to find the right entrance!! And painting the front door the same! We were a bit confused of where to get in... But that seems to be an easy fix!

We chose the MoM for a few reasons: it was close to our ceremony site, provided parking for guests that we could pay for (for a reasonable cost), on-site catering by Dupree, ability to seat our amount of guests, but mainly for the AMAZING skyline view of Lexington as the venue is on the top floor of the Chase building. Mike and I worked with their coordinator Heather, who was wonderful and so helpful throughout the planning process. She is a busy lady, but would always respond back to emails/phone calls whenever she could. We met with her ~5x before the wedding to plan, brainstorm ideas, and review details. She gave a few options for the layout of the reception and how things would "flow" but I deferred to her judgment as I thought she would know what would be the optimal way. For selecting our menu, we had so many options. We decided to do a buffet-style dinner so people could have more choice over their meal. It was honestly so hard to decide on dinner choices because everything sounded delicious. We did a beef tenderloin and chicken meat option, roasted broccolini and smashed potatoes with the sweet potato kale salad- ALL delish. We are still having people tell us how good the food was! The event thanks to Heather and our day-of-coordinator went off without a hitch! I highly recommend the venue as an event space- particularly for wedding receptions!

This is not a public restaurant but you can reserve this place for any kind of events…read more We had an office party here. The place was pretty spacious to host around 150 people. The view from the top is exhilarating. I am not sure if there are any other places in Lexington which offers a sky view of the city. We had a open bar, and they had pretty decent drinks. The appetizers were good. I didn't have much as I was saving my hunger for the main course. But I heard from my colleagues that the appetizers were equally good as the main course. We were offered 4 main courses and asked to pick one beforehand. 1. Grilled Sirloin with Red Wine Horseradish and Chive Butter, crispy garlic marbled potatoes, seasonal roasted veggies, yeast rolls, mixed green salad 2. Garlic lavender and wine glazed chicken, wild mushroom gnocchi, shaved brussels sprouts, yeast rolls, mixed green salad 3. Bourbon and cider glazed salmon, herb rice pilaf, lemon roasted asparagus, yeast rolls, mixed green salad 4. Vegetarian: Grilled ratatouille napoleon, crispy garlic marbled potatoes, seasonal roasted veggies, yeast rolls, mixed green salad I picked Salmon for myself and Vegetarian for my +1. The salmon was amazing. The herb rice pilaf was yummy. Most of my colleagues from my table had the Grilled Sirloin. It looked good and they said good things about it. The main course was supplemented with some good desserts. This is one of the best places I have been recently and I am surprised how very few people in Lexington have heard about this place. This would be a best place for an OYE (Official Yelp Event) so that more Yelpers can yelp about this place and spread the word.
