Nice tasting experience. We stopped in on Black Friday for a fun girls day out and enjoyed our time together. For $12 you get to taste 3 wines. They have a broad selection of red & white ranging from dry to dessert wines. Upon completion of our tasting, we took one of our purchases and enjoyed it in one of the sitting rooms. It was a casual sitting area with displays of merchandise available for purchase. I purchased 2 bottles of wine to go, but I was disappointed to discover that one of the bottles was not what I wanted. I purchased mango but was given peach. I should've checked the bag before leaving. Overall a nice day out. I would like to go back when the weather is warmer.

We enjoy taking a charcuterie board and buying a couple of wine bottles. They have live music and food trucks some days so keep a look out.

My wife and I tried this place after seeing the Roadside signage. So happy that we did. They had some fairly good wines and the setting was absolutely gorgeous! We even had their hand crafted pizza while listening to the rain. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing. It's on lush green fields it feels like you are in the country but only a few miles from town. The wine tasting rooms are set in a beautiful house and it also has a lot of merchandise for sale. The wine is very good and the staff is fun and helpful You can have a glass and sit outside and enjoy the winery. They have music on the weekends It's a great place to enjoy the outdoors drink a magnificent glass of wine and be still

We had a good time at Talon Winery today. Great customer service. I can only imagine how pretty the property is during the warmer months. We'll have to return.

It was the day of the wedding and I wanted to check out a couple more locations while we were in Kentucky. We stopped at this winery at 10 AM. It was a nice long drive up a drive way to the winery. The winery is in a cute small farm house. I was hoping that the winery was in the amazing looking red barn, but it was in the old farmhouse. The farmhouse is nice and elegant inside. The cost is $6 per person for 6 tastings, and since they weren't busy it was $1 extra for anything else you wanted to sample. This place had very dry wine. If I were to guess, everything was either 0.0 or 0.1% RS in the wine. It didn't have a wonderful fuzzy taste to all of the wines. I tried both red and white and event had a blackberry that was listed sweet, but tasted extremely dry. We did have a glass of wine. But this wasn't my favorite stop of wineries. The lady who helped us out was friendly and helpful. The wine itself wasn't that great. It was okay. I like dry wine, but not that dry. You need to taste something in my opinion. I also found it a little pricey, two glasses of wine, 2 tastings and it was $30 some dollars. I noticed the wine was a bit pricey as well.

We were invited to a wedding here and wanted to try the wines before the big day. My wife and I were taken aback from the beautiful drive into the vineyard and observed another wedding taking place. There were plenty of people there for a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and for good reason. The bartenders were very friendly and educational in their wine offerings. We got 2 tastings apiece, which amounted to 6 wines each. After tasting wines from California and Georgia, I am pleased to say that Kentucky has a nice gem in the wine world here. My favorites were the current equestrian series red blend (something the winemaker adjusts annually) for the dryer selection and the diamond sweet white wine (from the diamond grape, something new to me). If you are looking for a great way to spend an afternoon catching up with friends or a venue for your next event, consider Talon to be your place!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience! Thank you so very much, Savannah, for making it great!

Stopped by on our way to Lexington for the night and spent the afternoon here. Beautiful place and great wine and friendly service. We took up the guy's recommendation for Malone's for dinner and was excellent! Would love to come back here again someday. Great spot for kids to run around too!

6 tastings for $5, can't beat it! The staff was very knowledgeable about the wine and provided great service. There's so many cute and funny "decor boxes" for purchase, as well as wine glasses. There's also a beautiful area outside for enjoying your wine.

It was okay, but tasted water, was weak in the chartreuse area, and was served in a tall beer glass. Presentation is important with drinks, and I felt like this was a drink I could get from any bar on a street in Savannah or some other southern city. It was only 13 bucks, so I can't complain too much. I also had their strawberry sire spritz, made with strawberry infused aperol, sweet vermouth, prosecco, and an orange slice. I didn't really taste the strawberry and it was a weak, unimpressive spritz. But again, 13 dollars. They also offer mules, drinks with chili infused tequila, tequila, bourbon and fruity purees, a large beer list (a mix of domestics, IPAs, ales, ciders). They have a wine list, but given the names and prices, I would skip it. They have a bar bites menu in which I didn't partake. Located in The Sire Hotel, it's quiet, low key, open, uncrowded. It's close to several downtown bars, so would be a great addition to a bar crawl, but wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

We visited on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the scenery as we sat outside sipping our wine. Located just a short drive from Lexington, Harkness Edwards is checks all the boxes for a fun day out. Atmosphere, check. Views, check. Affordable, check. A variety of wines for every palette, check. We prefer our wine on the sweeter side so we went with the best sellers flight. For just $10 we received a flight of 5 different wines, These were generous pours and we presented beautifully. Once we got settled, we decided to add a charcuterie board for two. At just $20, that was a great price! It included grapes, multiple cheeses, crackers, meat and chocolates. I would've liked a bit more meat, but I understand that additional meat may have driven the price up. In addition to our flight, we also enjoyed a glass of seasonal apple cider sangria. It was light and refreshing, topped off with champagne for a bit of effervescence. Since it was such a nice day, we opted for outdoor seating to enjoy the weather and beautiful views. The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual. We brought personal activities to entertain ourselves, so we colored , journaled and did some reading during our time at the vineyard. Before leaving, we settled our tab and browsed in the retail area. They have many items for purchase including local honey, candles, soap, lotion and of course, wine. We purchased a bottle of our favorite wine from our flight. In addition to tours and tastings, they offer a variety of different classes. While we were there, there was a floral class going on. I would like to come back and take a class in the future. We had a wonderful outing at Harkness Edwards. The staff was very friendly, the wine and charcuterie were delicious and the atmosphere was delightful!
