Pretty good Indian food for a city full of delicious pizza and pasta! We came on a Saturday night around 7pm and this place was pretty quiet. The service was good, and the food was decent. I had an amazing mango lassi, some butter naan, butter chicken masala, and some basmati rice. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet for my liking, i would probably go for one of their other curries next time. Overall, a good option when you get a little tired of too much Italian! read more

Great food! I've been to many Indian restaurants around the world, and this food is very good. I went with a group and the staff was very accommodating. A bit spicy but maybe that's their style of food. I always order chicken korma at every Indian restaurant and it is never spicy, but here, it was spicy. I didn't know there was a version of korma that could be spicy. Great samosas, mango lassi and garlic naan. Enjoyed very much and would go back again. read more

After an overdose of Italian food, we headed here for our first Indian meal during our trip. It was good to see people from our country and more importantly my native here (Keralites were owners). That made the dishes perfectly suitable for our palates and even otherwise it was good quality Indian food (with a mild south Indian influence). Restaurant is well laid out and has a comfortable ambience and clean washroom facilities. Service a tad slow - but fresh Indian food takes some time to make and it was worth the wait for us. Pricing - budget friendly; our roti naan chicken tikka masala and coke meal cost us 13odd euros. Will recommend trying it read more

Came to Naples with the family and friends, and were craving some authentic Indian food. Service was absolute garbage, as wait times had us sitting and twiddling our thumbs for about an hour and a half. At last, the food arrives. Food itself, was terrible. Bugs in food, small portions for large price, you get the idea. At least the bathroom was good, but unless your only objective is to take a shit, I would recommend against eating here at all costs. My friends had not had Indian for a week so we found this one. You might have to walk down stairs since they have limited seating on the ground level. Older people be aware that their is no elevator. Ordered a boat load of food. Dosa does not come with an important accompaniment: coconut chutney. You could ask for it but it costs extra. Unless you order a masala dosa, one does not get coconut chutney with it. Go figure For the unfamiliar coconut chutney to dosa is akin to: Maple syrup to pancakes, Ketchup to French fries etc. You get my point Along with plain dosa, we also ordered masala dosa and there was a tea spoon of coconut chutney with it. The masala was insipid and tasteless. We inquired about the lack of chutney and were told coconuts are difficult to come by in Rome. Let's also talk about the sambhar, another accompaniment with dosa. It did not taste like it but like boiled lentils with limited spices. It might be healthy but was quite tasteless. We canceled the rest of the order and walked away without partaking more than a couple of bites. The chef or owner did not seem like a good business man along with not being a good chef that day. He lost 100 euros or more for less than an euro of coconut chutney. Rule 1: try not to enlighten the customer on the paucity of coconuts in Rome. Be specific in the menu that the chutney costs extra. Looking at the other reviews perhaps it was a bad day for us. But I can write about my experience a honestly as possible. No exaggeration here. read more

Very nice Indian vegetarian food. Wanted some break from Pizza and Pasta in Italy and found this place. I was craving for some spicy Indian food, and this place lived upto my expectation especially their Veg Biryani. It was not like authentic Hyderabadi dum Biryani but it was like Ghee Rice with layers of yummy masala and it turned out very tasty. Highly recommend this place to anyone in Naples who wants a break from pasta and pizza! Firstly, we were greeted with warm smiles The quaint downstairs sitting area was cozy and comfortable. So many yummy options to choose from. I was disappointed there was no sampling platter, because I would have loved to try several dishes in small portions. The beef biryani was excellent. Its right in the side street of the Theatre and Castel Nuovo. Great and fresh food cooked without the extra masala in the gravy that so many Indian restaurants get wrong. If you are Indian then you know what it will feel like to have a hot dinner here but I was pleasantly surprised to see many Napolitans coming in to order their fill for after the play at the theatre. Opened 5 months back, its surely got its fan following. The best part about the place that I like is that they haven't put any tacky decor like Elephants and Taj Mahal motifs. Not good Indian food. It's rated #1 Indian food in Napoli but I wouldn't recommend. Our food was cold and not very well done. Small portions as well. Only good thing was the naan but otherwise the meal was not what we were expecting based off what people had said on google reviews and other websites. Authentic Indian restaurant in Naples! Yes, really. We were very pleasantly surprised when we discovered this restaurant and the fact that the food is legit Indian. Great service (English spoken), clean, decent décor, and most of all delicious. We had the butter chicken, daal, chapatti, chicken lollipops, and a few other dishes and they were all fantastic. We asked them to make some dishes spicy, and they were spot on. They'll make dishes spicy or not spicy, upon request. Oh, and the food is very well priced. We'll definitely be coming back. read more

We recently visited Ghi Rice for dinner on our last day in Naples. The restaurant was easy find find and walking distance from Piazza Plebiscite. The restaurant was nice, clean and spacious. The food was excellent, we ordered chicken Tikka, mixed Veg and Paneer Kadai.Chapati's were good too. Overall a nice experience. read more
