Okay, so you're looking for a doctor in the western suburbs....look no further - Call Dr…read more Talbert--is a family practice doctor with a wicked sense of humor and a heart made of gold...though he wouldn't let on... He has been my primary care physician for the past 20 years or so. So yes, I've had him through pediatrics, redolence and now my late 20's. Funny enough when I lost my job, he offered me a temp receptionist position till i got back on my feet. His number one concern is your health NOT your health insurance. He takes the time to listen to you and whatever issues you feel you are having. He also is very candid about what he thinks is the best course of treatment for you. When it comes to billing, if you have no insurance he works on a payment plan with you and he tries his best if he needs to prescribe to you, generics and many times he'll hook you up with samples he receives. His office hours are Mondays 9-5 Tuesdays 2-8 Thursdays 10:00 - 3:30 Fridays 9-3 and Saturday by appt only. His receptionist Jenny is super sweet and he has a part time MA and a part time nurse who happens to be his sweet wife :) My only advice to you is; when you go, take something to do--book, ipod, something. Because he listens and explains things thoroughly--he has a tendency to run late. Though if you have an emergency just go straight to the office and they'll fit you in. Good Health to you!

This is what makes LifeMine so special to me as a newer patient and future NP as well. I am also into natural health. Dr. DeLorenzo adheres to faithful medical practice, but combines natural techniques that start with simple lifestyle changes, making for a beautifully balanced comprehensive approach. This doctor is a thinker, and takes several approaches beyond simply medicating a patient. He is very positive, accepting, easy to speak with, and personal. He is devoted to each patient as if they were his family. The staff is A+ too!!! You are in for a healthcare treat when you go here. You won't be "just a number".

I am leaving this review in hopes that other young women are better informed and protected than I…read morewas. At 18 years old, I had an IUD placed at this clinic. I was supposed to receive a Kyleena, but was instead given a Mirena, which is typically recommended for women who have previously given birth. The insertion and post-procedure period were extremely painful, resulting in several days of debilitating pain and months of chronic discomfort afterward. Following placement, I developed a bacterial infection and was told it was likely due to my partner cheating, rather than being informed of the known risks associated with IUDs. Over the next several years, I experienced recurrent yeast infections and ongoing symptoms. When I contacted the office for help, I was repeatedly told I could not be seen for 7-10 days and that I should not treat the symptoms myself, an unrealistic expectation given the severity and frequency of the infections. I eventually expressed my desire to have the IUD removed after researching and strongly suspecting it was the root cause of my symptoms. I was told this was "not a good enough reason" to discontinue birth control or remove the device, and I felt dismissed and pressured to keep it despite ongoing harm. I kept the IUD for another year before finally having it removed against medical advice. Since removal, I have been symptom-free for the first time since the device was placed. This clinic failed to listen to me, failed to provide informed, patient-centered care, and failed to respect my autonomy. I strongly urge patients, especially young women, to advocate for themselves and seek second opinions if something feels wrong.

My visit was today 7-19-24 at 605pm. If I hadn't had to go to the emergency room, the review would've been written right in their parking lot. I walked in at 555pm. My appt per the Aurora location was for 6 pm. There were 2 people at the front, neither assisted or spoke until I stepped around a couple who had already been seen and were receiving aftercare instructions. I gave them my name and advised that I was sent over from Aurora they said my appt was for 630, ummm no, it was for 6. They said I had to wait. 605 comes, and this lady calls my name with an attitude and takes me back. So why were you sent here for an ultrasound, she asks? Because I'm in pain and need further testing.. I explained the tests that were completed, and she states no, that's not why she said you needed an ultrasound *BLANKSTARE* So if you know why I need 1 WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME??? DO THE ******* ultrasound and stop wasting my time! She continued to ask things that should've been charted. I'm so irritated she asks me is everything ok? I'm not trying to upset you. I'd like to make this right in a snide way. She completes the 2 ultrasounds. No info on follow up care just call Aurora for info. I called Aurora and they're in shock that they didn't provide the qr code to look up my results or provide the aftercare instructions. I ended up in the ER a few hours later. Thankfully, Aurora followed up so that I could be treated properly. The tech Cynthia Avila was rude, abrasive, and condescending, to say the very least! I wouldn't recommend this location.
