Before you choose him search around for other dentist . Especially if you are not Armenian. The dentist alone is not pleasant to deal with . The staff are pretty nice . They will charge you at your next appointment for xrays you took 3 appointments ago and say they forgot to charge you . If you must cancel any appointment the fee is extremely high. Was coming here for a little bit only for him to say to find another dentist that can do it for you only because i raised a few concerns. Hopefully debbie learned how to use the apple pay machine she kept struggling with that . A little pricey as well an upgrade to the office would be nice . read more

I just visited Dr. Marcarian's office for the first time today. Thank you Yelp community for leading me to him!! I can't say enough good things about this dental practice from making the appointment to going in today. I have been long overdue for a cleaning and I was petrified. If there's anyone out there who is scared to go, just make the appointment. It's all ok once you go there. Everyone from the front desk, to X-ray technicians, to hygienists and to Dr. Marcarian is top notch and will make you feel comfortable and everyone is soooooo nice! Wow. My teeth are clean. Will only post what we experienced for a consultation. Took my mom in for a consultation and felt welcomed and safe. Front staff was wonderful, helpful, and honest. Friendly environment, the Dentist took his time to provide consultation and was very thorough in explaining my mom's condition with her teeth to her. Advised her and explored options for care. I've been going to Dr M. For many years. Found him online he was open on a Saturday when I had a horrible tooth ache. Since then he has been my dentist. Very knowledgeable and so is his staff. They make you feel very comfortable and when your at the dentist that's by far the best!! I've recommended my friends and they love him too!! read more

Technically I only went there for a cleaning and X-rays, but my experience was superb. Easy parking, waiting area is cozy and clean. Receptionist accepted my Groupon off of my Evo app ($50 for cleaning and x-rays). I had an appt, and did not have to wait long. I posted some pictures of the room I had my "procedure" done, which was super clean, and equipment was modern and new. Liana was assisting the doc, did all the prep and x-rays, she was very friendly and detail oriented (and a beautiful person I can tell :)). Dr. Marcarian then came in and checked all that needed to be checked, including my jaw bite, and was very thorough with all of my teeth. He was very friendly as well, but still serious enough for me to know he knows what he is doing, and was very professional. To my surprise, my monster mouth had grown two extra wisdom teeth, and Dr M answered all of my questions. The cleaning went great, they did a very good job, I was so happy! On the way out I got a print out an estimate of my cavities and wisdom teeth removal, plus a 25% discount on that future appt for having used a Groupon. Yay! My appt with them is next week for cavities and removal of 3 teeth, hopefully they give me a 5 star service! :) read more

Best dentist I've been to, hands down. He did a great job on some cavities, is very gentle, thorough, and friendly. In addition, he has an excellent staff that is extremely friendly, outgoing, and a pleasure to be around. Finally, his Dental Hygienist "Jamie" is pretty much the best there is. She is meticulously thorough and very precise. She's also very informative. Every dentist tells you to always floss, but she told me why, explained bacteria buildup and calcification, explained how it all works. She made me WANT to floss. lol! Excellent dental office. I used to go to Dr. Marcarian's Encino branch before he opened up a Burbank location, which is a Godsend, as I work in Glendale. What first attracted me to Dr. Marcarian's practice was his use of technology. Dr. Marcarian is ever the professional, and keeps up on the newest procedures, updating his office with the newest tools to aid his patient's comfort and relieve their anxiety in going to the dentist. Dr. Marcarian is not one of those dentists who sees a dark spot and immediately fills it. He makes sure it is a cavity before taking any action. He cares about his patients, and will tailor a treatment plan for you based on your needs. For me, my teeth are porous, and stain easily. I also have periodontal disease, and need to get my teeth cleaned every 3 months. Dr. Marcarian reminds you of your appointment by sending you email reminders, which avoids the inevitable phone tag between office and patient. read more

Dr. Mercarian is an excellent dentist. I had an emergency today, gums infected and he took me in within hours. Took an x-ray and immediately said i needed root canal. He personally took me over to the endodontist and explained the situation. I feel he is an excellent dentist, great communicator and all around good human being. He is easy to talk to, and I know that he is amongst the TOP dentists/ physicians. Unfortunately, I have had numerous medical problems and I know an excellent physician/dentist when I am with them. I only wish he was a physician too! He would be great!!! read more

Dr. Marcarian and his staff are patient, knowledgeable, gently, thorough and best sense of humor. Dr. Marcarian takes the time to listen to your needs, he will never push treatments, and he's very direct about your options and has not once up-sold me or performed any unnecessary procedures. Nobody likes going to the dentist, and even worse is having to get braces for my 13yo, but Dr. Marcarian and his entire staff have made this the easiest process in the world. Had an extremely easy "fix" done that should've taken 20 minutes (per dr. Marc) that ended up taking about double the time and ending with a not very happy patient. Although it was kind of an urgent matter on a Saturday and they did allowed me to come in last minute, I very much wish I would've just waited til Monday to see my regular dentist which I could've done. On top of this, I was charged more money than I was originally quoted even without the X-rays costs, probably because of the little bit extra work they did which should've never needed to be necessary had they taken a little bit more time to get things exact in the first place so I ended up paying for that. Dr is nice, I don't want to take that from him, but the assistant was very rough with me and kind of snappy so I will not be going back. read more
