They updated a few things, moved the office towards the front, and it just seems to be running really well (do I dare say better?). Everything else is great! We rented a boat and went crabbing. Only got 3 crabs this time, but it was still fun. It's just the idea of being out there that makes it so fun! We went on a rainy day so could not enjoy the view from our site since we had to stay inside the trailer. It's okay, it was still a great visit. I look forward to going again! Ha! We met Mark and the other four fishermen joining us, at crack of dawn. Launched through the surf out to the ocean straight to the crab pots. Got our limit of crab and then on to fishing. We caught Ling Cod, Rock Fish and Cabezon. Mark and his wife Linda are all about the customers experience, we all meet back at Mark's house where we learn how to ready the crabs for steaming, while the crabs steam Mark and Markus fillet the fish and Linda vacuum sealed the fillets. Jim was helpful and friendly, and Brody (I think that's his name?) explained everything about the boat and how to crab clearly enough for us beginners to understand. The guide immediately asked his clients to reel up. Our fish got tangled up in one of the lines and he immediately cut that line so that we were able to get the fish in. We have finished at buoy 10 for many years and run into similar situations several time and the guide was unwilling to pull their lines from the water to help out a fellow fisherman, resulting in a lost fish.
