    25 pound spring King salmon

Great guide service got me on last minute. Caught a huge Spring king!!!

    One of our larger sturgeon

Took 3 of us fishing with Curtis for sturgeon. This was honestly one of my favorite fishing trips I have ever taken. His boat is first class and he gets you on fish. Our group landed 25. If your thinking about doing it you need too. I cant wait to come back. Curtis is a great guide, friendly and hard working.

Largest of 4 but not the hardest fighter. And one happy fisherman.

If you're searching for the best fishing charter on the Oregon Coast, book with Reel Lucky…read moreCharters--hands down the most family-friendly guide we've ever met. I brought my two 10-year-olds who LOVE fishing, but this was their first time on a boat. Skye was incredible with kids: patient, fun, and super clear with instructions. Within 90 minutes we'd already hit our limit and reeled in over 8 salmon! Skye filleted the fish on the spot and did a perfect job--clean cuts, bagged properly, and his boat stayed spotless the entire time while he processed the fish. He also took time to teach us about the different salmon species and how the Astoria/Columbia River (Buoy 10) fishery works, which my kids ate up. I shopped around and found Skye's pricing very competitive. The communication before the trip was excellent, the gear was top-notch, and safety was clearly a priority. We'll absolutely take our kids (and the rest of our family) out with him again next year. If you're considering a family-friendly fishing charter on the Oregon Coast this is the best option--professional, educational, kid-approved, and wildly successful. Thank you, Skye, for an unforgettable day on the water!

The 28 foot, fully customized, 2025 Willie Boat Nemesis -The Reel Lucky- is a beautiful limousine of a guide boat with plenty of room and comfy upgrades like the shock absorber seat stands that cushion your ride while enroute to and between fishing locations. Skylen Freet has either been fishing or guiding fishing trips as a fishing guide almost his entire life. His passion for fishing shines out on the water where he always gives 199% to ensure limits for every passenger. I have booked trips with Reel Lucky Charters (and before that Sky's Guide Service) multiple times now with only one or two times when we didn't return from fishing with everyone limited out (those days we were only a fish or two (once) short of full limits)! Sky has always given me an honest forecast of how the fishing is going to be yet we always seem to have even better success. I have always enjoyed time spent in the boat with Sky whereas during the few recent years when he was not available I booked other guides and was always disappointed because none of them met the standards that I had gotten used to him providing, not just in filling limits but all the other things that make a good day of fishing great as well!! He explains all about how to use the fishing gear to his passengers before even starting out on the water so that everyone knows what to do when that big fat salmon hits their line and the correct actions are critical for successfully landing it. I have learned so much about the whole fishing industry from Sky, from conservation to politics he is a fountain of information about everything to do with fish- not just in Oregon but all over the world. As fun as it seems to have a boat, I am happy to leave that headache to Sky and do the fun part of enjoying myself on the water hooking, fighting & landing fish! Just figuring out where the fish are and how to successfully hook them is a full time job that I am happy he's there to do for me! At the end of the trip Sky cuts the fish and keeps all the unwanted parts, customers put the filets in the cooler to go enjoy at home while Sky stays behind to clean blood and scales off his beautifully kept boat for the next happy passengers! I can't recommend fishing guide Sky of Reel Lucky Charters enough!!

Sometimes it quite difficult trying to figure out exactly what gifts to buy for your family members…read moreeach year so instead of buying each person a gift, I gifted my entire family this wonderful lunch cruise offered by Portland Spirit. Everyone in my family (wife and 3 adult kids) had a blast. Our server, Liliana, was quite accommodating and did a great job taking care of our food, drinks and deserts. The Manager, Cory, was welcoming as well. He brought us to our seats and also sang a song for someone who was celebrating birthday/anniversary along with our live piano player. Captain Cody did a great job navigating the boat up and down the river. The ride was smooth and enjoying. What a great experience! The food was delicious and generous portions. I had the marinated beef, while we tried the chicken and blackened steelhead. All delicious! The complimentary bread was the show stopper. It was a focaccia bread that had some thickness to the dough yet delicious and quite addicting. We had a chance to walk up to the top deck to get some fresh air. The forward part of the boat is covered which what we needed since it was sprinkling outside. The deck was wet but one of the crew members was quick to sweep the water away from the deck to avoid any accidents. We are looking forward to the cruise again but for dinner and probably not until end of spring or summer when the weather gets better. Parking garage is 1 block away. We went on a Saturday and the parking was flat rate $6 which was reasonable.

They were very friendly, made the experience very enjoyable. The bruch spread was great which are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian friendly. All the items were freshly made and they were amazing. We tried almost everything and loved it. Drinks can be ordered on the cruise. The live piano playing and singing added such a fun, lively atmosphere and it was easily one of my favorite parts of the cruise. You can go upstairs for the beautiful views of different bridges along the way with information about them being told by the crew. The time just flew by and we were able to experience Portland during the fall season in November. Overall, a must visit if you are visinting portland for the first time or been here for a while.
