They've checked it and said the breaks were OK and only need lubrification probably because the car was parked for quite some time. $217 with the inspection. EVERY time I have taken my car in for repairs something else will break on it within a couple weeks, once even on the drive home (I live about 300 yards away). Not just my car though also my sisters, and my mothers (who has since had to sell her car after taking it to another mechanic only to discover it was UNSAFE TO DRIVE). He's fixed my brakes, only to have them break within a week. Alignment- you guessed it...it's broken again. Gas tank- instead of fixing the straps they just wrapped duct tape around them Power Steering- charged nearly $1000 and it's still broken. He can't even change a battery right- charges you for new terminal and doesn't replace it. To put it short: the man is a con artist. I've heard from people that know him, though I can't really confirm, that he will use used parts on fixes telling the customer they are new and OVER-charging them on what are suppose to be new parts. aka: my power steering. He charged about $600 in parts alone, after I got the car back and the power steering was still broken I looked online to see the cost of parts.......they were around $100 brand new. Any other time I usually won't have any problems with my car besides parts just getting old. When I take it to Grainy's though 100% of the time I will have new problem with the car. It doesn't take a detective to tell you this is no coincidence. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I can't stress this enough. Even if you have to pay out the a** at a dealership, go to the dealership. It will cost more, but at least they'll actually fix the car. I can't properly describe how mad I am at this garage. I have given them thousands of dollars only to end up with the same and new problems to my car within days/weeks. I will never use this service again, and will never recommend it. I can't stress enough at how bad a job they do, to the point where he's literally put his customers lives in danger telling them a repair is done when it's not. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
