Life changing treatment!…read more Where do I begin? I have so many good things to say! I had been in bed for about a week with a chronic migraine attack - barely able to muster strength to even eat. The pain got so bad I contacted my primary care physician to setup a visit. After his examination he wasn't able to determine the root cause of the migraine, but prescribed migraine medications, and setup an MRI to be done in a couple of days. The prescription meds were no more useful than the OTC meds. I made zero progress, and the pain was only getting worse. That is when I decided to give acupuncture a try - given I have had success with it in the past for other problems. Jennifer was fully booked, but her office team was able to squeeze me in. They sent me the forms I needed via email, so once my appointment rolled around I didn't have to wait around in a lobby doing paper work (the last thing you want to when fighting a migraine). When I showed up for my appointment I was greeted like I was a family member, or a dear friend. The office was warm, cozy, and the smells of essential oils gentle filled the air. After checking in at the desk I was immediately taken to my treatment room - no having to sit around and wait in a lobby. Within a matter of minutes after my appointment started, Jennifer was able to determine what she thought the root cause of the migraine was, and began treating the issue. I immediately felt relief! I was in total disbelief! What I really appreciated was Jennifer's patience in describing what she was doing each step of the way, how and why things were causing me pain, and what to expect during the treatment, as well as after the treatment. She is so kind, patient, friendly, and truly cares about your wellbeing. I was greeted with a nice smile from the receptionist as soon as I walked in and while the place is small, it had a nice cozy and relaxing environment. Amanda was my masseuse and she listened to my needs (relief of muscle aches from frequent workouts) and she went to work. She used the right amount of pressure to help relieve some muscle tension I had in my neck and back, and the aromatherapy and oils she used helped relieve some stress. After the hour, she also gave me some tips on how to relieve the tension myself at home which I really appreciated. Glad I decided to pick this place to experience my first massage and I'll definitely be back again and look into a hot stone massage for next time.

I had just run the NYC Marathon on Sunday so was hoping to get in on Tuesday. In fairness, I called on Tuesday morning and they couldn't get us in until Thursday night, but it was worth the wait, and I'm sure they were blowing up because of Groupon. The listed price for the couple's massage in the parlor was $140, but for $40/person, it was money well spent once the hour was up. The place is a little hidden, even within the office building. It's easiest to go up to the second floor from the door on your right (there are 2 entrances). Overall, they did such a good job, I tipped them $25 each, factoring in the actual cost and not the Groupon special.
