I like how Krav Maga incorporates a little bit of everything in a very simple way (Bruce Lee would approve).

My son recently started showing interest in writing letters, but he often said, "I can't," which…read moremade me want to support him in building his confidence. That's when I found TOT Handwriting. The owner, Jennell, is not only an experienced occupational therapist but also a mom of two, which made me feel even more comfortable and understood. From the beginning, Jennell was honest and thoughtful--after assessing my son, she let me know that while he didn't necessarily need handwriting classes at age 3, they could still be beneficial. And they absolutely were! He made great progress, and more importantly, he is more confident about his ability to write. We had such a positive experience that we decided to enroll him again for the summer session. Highly recommend TOT Handwriting to any parent looking for gentle, expert support in early writing skills!

My son made noticeable progress in a short…read moreperiod of time--not just in how his handwriting looks, but in the underlying skills like spacing, letter formation, and staying on the line. What really stood out to me was how structured and thoughtful the program is. They don't just have kids practice writing--they actually teach the patterns behind letter formation and target the foundational skills that make writing easier. We also received a detailed progress report with real data and writing samples, which is something you rarely see in camps like this. By the end of the program, my son went from inconsistent letter formation to confidently forming all uppercase and lowercase letters, with much better spacing and overall legibility. I would absolutely recommend this camp to any parent looking to support their child's handwriting and fine motor development in a meaningful, effective way.

In the entire 8th grade they wrote two essays and there is no feedback loop for corrections. They baby the students due to their learning differences rather than pushing them. Science and history are adequate but math and English are absolutely subpar. I know at least 4 other families who complained about one of the English teachers but the administration acted as though it was a situation unique to us. Irvine unified came to observe my son's class as part of his tri--annual and advised that he had made zero progress in middle school. They also observed the complete disorganization of the teacher who had planned a lesson where the students were to write an email only to realize the students didn't have the ability to send emails. She flailed trying to figure out how to handle the situation. Lack of use of canvas or email is also detrimental to students moving into high school as they are ill prepared. My suggestion is to start your child there young as the OG intervention in elementary is fantastic. But get out by 7th grade if you want your student to have a chance in high school!

From the moment she started, we noticed a boost in her confidence and a new excitement for learning. The progress she's made--academically and emotionally--has been truly remarkable. A huge thank-you to Miss Sarah and Miss Natalie, who have both been incredibly patient, encouraging, and dedicated. They take the time to really understand her needs and tailor each session to help her grow. Their warm and supportive approach has made her feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of her accomplishments. I absolutely love Miss Sarah's "get to work" attitude and my daughter loves Miss Natiles fashion choices. The environment at Stowell is welcoming and uplifting, and our daughter always looks forward to her sessions. As parents, we appreciate the clear communication and the genuine care they show for her success. I drove so much and was exhausted. Needless to say thank you Stowell as I write this with tears in my eyes. My son can read, he is graduating from high school in eight weeks and currently has a 3.74. It has been four years since he has been there but looking back I don't regret all the money, time spent. Seeing your child thrive is priceless!!! Thank you to Kaitlyn!! Thank you Everyone else! It is a great operation!
