I try to stop in here whenever I visit Carson City for a Spa Pedicure. They all do a wonderful job for a great price. Plenty of pampering including leg and foot rub, and picture perfect toe nail paint. All of this while you chill in a massage chair. Recently I treated my lil' Sister to her first pedicure. She was hesitant, and ended up loving it. I gave them a nice tip to treat her extra special and they really did. The business owner takes pride in her Salon, and has been here for over 10 years. This was the worst experience ever with a nail salon. I asked to clean my cuticles amd they said ok but for extra $5. I said ok and she pulld out of the drawer some tools. Not wrapped in anything. Just dirty almost rusty tools. And she didn't even cut them. She just pushed them in a little bit and charged $5. And the lady doing my nails didn't even speak English. Like ...wtf? don't go unless you want infections and Dr bills. OMG Really think about it you get what you pay for.. Great nails aren't cheap and Cheap Nails aren't great... I went in for a polish on my toes and the girl did a horrible job I tipped her 2$ because of the horrible costumer service and job. She was lucky I even tipped her but come to find out a few days later the girl tipped herself 10$!! Thieves on top of the horrible job they do! I wonder how this stays open. They reuse the sanitation wrappers on tools. I saw this happen two customers before me and the lady doing my nails didn't even pulled clean tools out. Gross. Whatever the reason may be, they put everyone at risk of getting an infection. The lady working on my nails was such in a rush she didn't fully remove my nail polish nor cleaned off my cuticles on one hand. I ask her to stop and she continued for paint my nails. I told the person in charge what was going and she seemed astonished, like if I was asking for too much. I hope everyone at this location has a license, because I reported you to The Better Business Bureau. You definitely get what you pay for. Steer away from this location. Visiting S Lake Tahoe during the forth of July weekend so we headed out to Carson City for a pedicure. We called ahead for an appointment for three chairs. Unfortunately, when we arrived there were only two ladies available so my friends were able to get started while I waited In the chair. I finally asked for someone to at least fill the water so I could soak my feet. The ladies did a very nice job and the leg massage was very relaxing. One of my friend's attendant never came back to check her polish or remove the toe separators so she wasn't happy about that. The other friend had a sore toe and was poked with the sharp instrument but is ok. Her nails were cut very short just as she was asked and removed an ingrown toe nail. Negative 100 stars if I could. Face palming myself for not checking yelp reviews first because WOW this place obviously sucks. After my gel pedicure, the nail tech tells me that it's okay to put my socks and boots back on, so I do... Then I proceed to get my acrylic nails done by the same chick... they looked COMPLETELY uneven and lumpy. Every single nail had a different length/shape. I tried to have her fix them and it just kept getting worse. Finally finished and I couldn't wait to get out of there and fix them myself. I get home and take my shoes off- GEL pedicure is completely smudged and rubbed off. I paid SIXTY dollars. And my toes didn't even last 2 hours. I called for a refund and the owner who told me I was a liar, then told me he wasn't able to refund and THEN changed his mind and said he would refund me 10$... I told him to keep the money and that I would NEVER come back. They obviously need the money more than I do. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. This place sucks. Terrible service. Went in for a gel manicure and pedicure and I'm pretty disappointed in the results. After I got home I noticed that none of the polish made it to the edges of my nails. It pretty much looks like they did one swipe up the middle of each nail and called it good. It's less noticable on my fingernails but my toenails are so bad it's almost funny. One of them has polish on less than half of the nail. My fingernails also felt rough on the ends like they had been filed with a really coarse nail file and not buffed, so I had to do it myself. On top of everything, it's only been 2 days since I got my nails done and the gel polish is already chipping. I've never had a gel manicure that lasted less than 2 weeks and this one couldn't even make it 2 days. read more

Worst mani-pedi EVER! I was in town for a casual wedding, and decided I needed to get pretty-fied. I don't get my nails done regularly so sometimes working on me can be a bit of a chore. However.... Three hours after getting the pedicure, I switched from my flip-flops to mary janes. The polish on my toes smeared!!! It just slid right off. So then I looked at my finger nails, and the polish was still smearable, and it had bubbled up on each finger. Unfortunately I didn't notice all of this until after closing, and I had the wedding in Tahoe the next morning. Then the day after, I realized that my cuticle beds were still a mess, and I ended up with some of the worst hangnails ever. read more

We schedule an appointment for two pedi's and three new sets and were told to come in at 11am in which we did. We were on time. My daughters got their pedi's done as I sat and waited as every other person walked in and received services. I was past over just once but three times before walking out. I think these women did a great job! Not only did Diana and Kim come in on Sunday for us, but they did so at the last second and our toes look awesome! We were in Carson City to run a half marathon which ended up being the day before - so we came from SLT to Carson City at 6 am for no reason. After breakfast, I googled "nail salon" on my phone and this was the first one to come up. When I called, I guess the number was a cell phone because the women agreed to come in on Sunday even though they were closed for an appointment. I heard about this place from a co-worker (who's only had good experiences) so I decided to go in. The first visit, I got a full set and a gel pedicure. They didn't clean out the soak tub for the pedicure at all and didn't line it but I didn't want to come across like a difficult customer so I didn't say anything. The gel fell off after a week and after 2 weeks my nails started lifting so I went in again to get it fixed and they just did a fill. These nails lasted about the same amount of time as the last set but other salons I've gone to last much longer. I decided to take the nails off all together and discovered that I had mold growing underneath. I called and made an appointment for a pedicure and manicure. The bottoms of my feet are always needing scrubbed and callouses removed. She started dry my feet for my toenail polish and I said please do my heals. She barely touched them and I was shocked at how I had to request it and then she did a terrible job. I try not to write these things unless service was awesome but this needs to be put out there so hopefully whoever reads this chooses to go elsewhere. Tiffany was refered to me by a few people so I decided to try her out & she is awesome. However the shop and staff is not. This place should be shut down with how many health violations are going on in there and that should have made me leave the first time. First appointment I waited 25 min to be seen. Second appointment I called to see if she could take me early and was informed she didn't come in due to car trouble (no call to let me know this) so they moved me to the next day. Irritated but glad I'd called and not gone in to her not being there. Next day It was snowing bad and I was stuck in a drive thru by a car stuck in the snow and couldn't back out due to all the cars behind me. I called to let them know I was going to be a few mins late but I was down the street. I was told I couldn't be seen since I'd be late, they only give her 30mins per appointment since she's fast, ridiculous. Ok....then today I had an appointment with someone else because Tiffany was gone again, when I showed up the owner seemed surprised I had an appointment at that time (forgot she made it the day before) and told me she was 15min behind. I was taken by someone else 30mins later. So it's ok for them to make you wait for however long but if your late you will not be seen! 2 hrs later my nails are not done right and I'd asked if someone else could do them since I needed to leave. I have to get a babysitter to go have this done so it's not easy for me to just go anytime for long periods of time. The owner came over and said "oh she do for you now and tiffiany can fix next time" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I'm not here to pay for a crap job till tiffany can do it right. How do yoy run a busniess like this!! She then proceeded to act like she didn't understand me and started to "fix" them. Again she wasn't doing it right so I asked if I could just leave. The tips of every nail bent because they were so thin, I didn't think this was a hard thing to do since acrylic nails are not supposed to bend. And every nail is a different length and shape, not to mention a few of them are filed up on the side so bad I have half a nail. They talk amongst each other and laugh while you're sitting there. It's so obvious there saying derogative things about you and the other clients. Two of my nails are crooked and the lengths are different on each hand. There shop is unsanitary, there colors are very limited, and they cannot draw designs very well. Would not recommend these self absorbed women who think they are doing you a favor by giving you crappy service. Worst pedicure ever!!! It took 20 minutes from beginning to end. Didn't even get a leg or foot massage not even a quick one! Had to tell the lady twice "NO" do not use that illegal razor on my feet! I watched all three technicians use the same tools on all the clients getting pedicures while I was there (they had four clients in their chairs) they used the same nasty razor on three of them Eeeww gross!! Never spoke in English to me except to tell me how much and ask if I was going to add a tip!! Are you kidding?!?!
