We have rented the past 2 years with this company. They are the best! Amy and Craig are extremely nice people and very helpful with any questions you might have. The trailers are clean and come equipped with everything you need except your bedding. They set it up and take it away. We are looking forward to next year already! Try them out, I don't think you will be disappointed but pleasantly surprised how wonderful and hassle free it is. read more

While at Pismo Coast Village, I watched the "Owners Son" picking up a trailer. While he was packing up everything, he unhooked the city water connection hose and used it to clean out the black tanks through running water through the toilet. If that isn't the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. That hose is to be reserved only for water that is used for drinking, washing dishes etc. and he used it in the bathroom. He finished packing up the trailer after we had taken off. Upon return, realized he had also packed up all the nearby trailers chairs that didn't not belong to him. Then the owner made a HUGE stink about having to return them to their proper owners after he insisted they drive to pick them up themselves. He did get them back, but couldn't even be bothered to apologize for the "mix up". read more

Sky River had our travel trailer for 3 weeks. Only fixed half of the needed repairs. We asked their sales department about selling the trailer, outright or consignment. Really low ball offer. We went to Get Away RV in Templeton. They finished the repairs, charged close to nothing and sold the trailer quickly for over 10K more than Sky River!! Great place!! Highly recommend!! Thanks, Mike! read more

One of the best camping trips I've had...Craig and Tanya make everything so easy and they are very informative and helpful. So easy and made for a stress free camping vacation! Already planning our next trip with Getaway! 5 stars!!! read more

This is the easiest best way to RV. This is our second time using Get Away RV rental.. Both times went smoothly and without a hitch. Pun intended. The Hanson's are great. Excellent customer service. We went to Pismo Coast Village. The trailer was brand new beautiful and clean. The best part is they set it all up for you at the campsite. Including, sewage, water, and 4 camping chairs set up around the fire pit. And when you leave you just wipe everything down and they come and pick it up. I highly recommend Get Away RV Rental. read more

Thank you Craig and Brandon for your excellent customer service! We LOVED the trailers we rented from you!! You made our family vacation in Pismo one to remember. read more

I've rented from Get Away RV Rental a handful of times and each time is painless and easy! My wife and I choose the tow it ourselves option and Craig makes it as easy as if we were towing our own trailer. They trailers are always spotless and everything functions flawlessly. They have everything you need to make sure you get to your campsite easily! I haven't used their RV's or the trailer delivery service but I'm sure it's top notch just like everything else they do. They quickly responded to email or phone call and answer any question you might have. I'll be using them for every camping trip in the future! read more

We reserved 2 RV's in march for our wedding in June. We paid in full. However, they cancelled our trailer about 3 weeks before the event. Then they said we may not get a refund since it was in the 30 day cancellation period (that they cancelled on us). Craig the owner says, in an email, that they will refund us 450 dollars when they drop off the other trailer. He comes to drop off the trailer but doesn't bring a check. He then tells me that it's "only" 450 dollars so for me not to worry. (As a teacher on summer vacation 450 is a bit.) he proceeded to cuss at my fiancé and mother. I told the venue about the situation and she said they would never recommend them again, as I would also advise for anyone else. read more

I cannot express what an amazing experience we had with this company. So easy to book!! Getaway RV Rentals saved my Mom's bucket list for her 81st. birthday. Our truck and trailer weren't in good enough conditions to tow all the way up to Pismo Beach from Westminster, CA. so I was referred to GETAWAY RV RENTALS and they took care of EVERYTHING!!! They hooked up a 30ft. Salem RV that was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffee pot, toaster, BBQ etc....everything we would need to have the best camping experience ever, and it sleeps 7-8 guests. We don't even have to tow it back.... they take care of everything at a price i could even afford. Ten days at the beach, and ladies only. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA! God sure Blessed Us when I was given Getaways phone number. I'm going to forward that same Blessing to all of you. Website:getawayrvreservations@gmail.com Phone: 805-801-3968 When you call ask for Craig. I'll post pictures while we're here. God Bless you all and happy camping. read more

Tried talking to crew member about my emergency cancellation due to COVID situation. Only one day after talking about renting did I have to cancel. I wasn't aware of not getting the full refund. Hope to still see it on my credit card. Tried to explain but got a hang up. He was to busy so I know he wasn't going to lose money because I cancelled. Sad. read more

We haven't even used our rental yet and after just our booking and communication over the last few months I'm delighted with Craig and his company. I have never camped in anything but a tent and he has fielded countless email questions with patience and courtesy. Can't wait for our trip! read more

Tanya is wonderful to work with, both in getting us all the information we needed to rent a Motorhome from out of state, and then working out the logistics when we had to cancel last minute due to bad weather. She went above and beyond to make sure things were fair and right. She is a good person. I would rent from them again because she is there. read more

Just want to let you know how impressed we were with your company. Brandon was so helpful to me when "I walked off the street" to look for a vacation rental for my daughter and her 2 children. He helped me select what turned out to be a terrific RV for their week at Lake Nacimiento. I love that you offer the very reasonably priced option deliver, set up/take down. You're the experts AND it was so nice to drive into the camp site to find the RV set up, mat down at door, lawn chairs set out, awning up and air conditioning on!!! Also nice that a young man stopped by mid week to check on how things were going. There had been one hiccup with one of the butane tanks, but a neighboring camper took care of it and then the young man fixed it. Thank you! I would HIGHLY recommend your business to anyone looking for a RV RENTAL. We'll be back next July! read more

My husband and I rented from this company for our annual Pismo Coast Village reunion and we couldnt of been happier with the trailer we booked the 40 Ft. Hemisphere for ourselves and our 3 month old. It was very spacious we had no issues the entire trip but Craig and his wife Lisa still came by on a Saturday just to mingle and check on us. Blown away by the attention to detail they earned customers for life as well as friends. Thank you Craig and Brandon! read more

Our trailer fell thru at the last minute and Craig and team were amazing at helping us find a trailer for our vacation. The set up was on time, the trailer was clean and in great shape. They checked in to make sure we had everything and when we needed one item they were so prompt in getting it to us. Thank you!! We will definitely use them again! read more

We had a contract to rent an RV a month ahead of the event. A week in a half before the event they told us that they were not going to rent the rv to us because they had someone going to rent the RV for a longer period of time. They disregarded the agreement for someone who wanted to rent for a longer time. Needless to say this business is horrible and what kind of business disregards a contract and agreement. They are liars and cheats. Go somewhere else read more

Had rental set up weeks before event. They cancelled last minute. They are unreliable this is not a company you can rely on. Take your money elsewhere read more

This is an update to my review. Craig did not do the right thing, he has kept my money. I have had communication since the first review and he stands by his opinion. To keep the record the straight, I booked a trailer for late July. This trailer was a new trailer he was going to order in May. I cancelled my reservation before he ordered the trailer. So he has never returned the remainder of my reservation fee. This was never about the money, it was about the principle. read more

They are a horrible business, I don't think they understand the word contract, apparently contract means nothing to them because they change their mind if they can make an extra dollar. They left a voice mail saying they would not be honoring their contract because someone wanted to rent the RV a longer period of time. read more
