We heartily recommend Paso Robles RV Ranch! We planned a three-night stay at the RV Ranch and it was everything we expected...and more! Excellent grounds, very clean, organized, and very welcoming. They have outstanding signage, wide streets, clean bathrooms, and best of all super friendly staff. The site Manager, Tina, was awesome and made us feel like we were part of the family. She was also our Fresh Egg Dealer! Our site, D1, was a level, clean, crushed stone pull-through. All hookups worked as expected with no interruptions. The RV Ranch is quiet, friendly, and serene! We'll be back...soon! Very.Well.Done!!

Will definitely be coming back here next time we're visiting in Paso Robles. Everyone was so friendly and the amenities here are excellent including a swimming pool, recreation room, laundry room, big bathroom & showers. We really enjoyed our time here.

We stayed here two nights. It's a nice little site to stay if you are seeing Paso Robles. Full hook ups. While sites were close together we didn't feel crowded. They do not have fire pits at sites. Super short drive to downtown. They were great about trying to get us sites best accommodated our rv and next to our friend in way to have our doors face each other. A little hard to get ahold of them to make a reservation, but be persistent. Would absolutes stay here again

This is a hidden gem!!!!!! We have been coming here for the last 5 years. This place is clean, laid back, and easy access. If you need their bathrooms they are huge and spotless. Prices are great. It is by far best one in town if you want laid back crowd. Ambiance is middle age to older crowd. Nothing rowdy. Stuff well maintained.

Located off hwy 101 Paso Robles RV Ranch has continued to be a pleasure to stay at. The family owned business makes it more personable and the grounds are kept clean and quiet. Although the RV Ranch does not offer a hot tub or children's playground it still is able to compete with the other RV sites in Paso Robles. We have stayed at this RV site since our children were young and it was a pleasure to see it still in existence all these years later.

This was a normal occurrence.. nobody at the office ? Hmmm

Rude staff. Overpriced parking lot. Mostly monthly renters. I would find another option on the area for your visit.

Easy to get to right off of I-5, very friendly and helpful staff, within walking distance of the casino, and the price was right.

Everyone was very nice. What I have noticed which is becoming the norm with some RV resorts is the amount of people residing at them.

Let me start by saying, I've stayed at Cava Robles RV Resort - Sun Outdoors Paso Robles before, and…read morehonestly, I used to love this place. The customer service was always on point, the grounds were spotless, and the bar/food situation was generally better than you'd expect from an RV resort. That's actually why we wanted to come out for Spring Break--and why we brought another family with us. Right off the bat, things felt... a little off. When we pulled into our RV spots, both fire pits (ours and our friends') were full of ash and old, charred wood. Not a huge deal--we don't even really use them--but it was noticeable. Ours was also broken (one leg completely off), which just added to the "hmmm... okay" impression. It wasn't terrible, just definitely not what we remembered. We had planned to kick off the trip with dinner at the bar the first night. Turns out--it's closed on Wednesdays. That one's on us for not checking ahead, but still a bit of a buzzkill. The next day, we figured we'd make up for it with lunch and drinks. This is where things really went sideways. The bartender/server was great--super nice, clearly trying--but every single order turned into, "I'm so sorry... we don't have that." No fries. No chicken fingers (which, with kids, is basically a crisis). Same drink menu as always... but almost none of the ingredients to actually make the drinks. I eventually simplified my order to tequila on the rocks with a lime. "I'm sorry... we don't have limes." At that point, I actually went back to my RV, cut up a couple of limes, and brought them to the bar. I wish I was joking. I don't even know if they used them--but that kind of says it all. From what we were told, everything was "supposed to be restocked"... it just hadn't happened yet. Which raises a pretty obvious question--who exactly was in charge of getting this place ready for Spring Break? We ended up driving into town to buy our own drinks, mixers, and food. Not exactly the resort experience we were planning on. We hung out around the pool and bar area afterward, and even that felt like it had slipped a bit. Chairs scattered everywhere, toys left out, cushions dusty with leaves--it just didn't have that clean, dialed-in feel we remembered. Later that evening, we thought it'd be fun to rent a golf cart and cruise around, meet people, explore a bit. Called the front desk... and learned that even though they're open 24 hours, golf cart rentals are on a strict 2 PM pick-up / 11 AM drop-off schedule. So if I rented one at 7 PM, I'd still have to return it by 11 AM the next day... for $140. Or wait until 2 PM the next day and miss the whole morning. So basically, no matter what, you're paying for less than a full day. Look--I'm not saying this trip ruined the place for me; it will remain in the rotation of places to consider. But it felt like visiting your favorite restaurant only to find half the menu gone and the rest "temporarily unavailable." As a "Public Service Announcement" for management, this also feels like a missed opportunity for you. This place can be great--I've seen it. But this time around, it just wasn't firing on all cylinders... and honestly, it feels like you are leaving both good impressions and DEFINITELY revenue on the table. PS-my wife says, "have better, cuter, and just more selections in your main store!"

As a person who's not into camping at all, I can sort of get behind this type of "glamping"…read more There's hot showers, clean bathrooms, a game room, and even a small store for those everyday items... like beer! You can rent an open space to park your RV or book one of their cabins. The RV spots offer various sizes for larger or smaller RVs and some come with a fire pit, table chairs, and a set of adirondack chairs for lounging. We rented an RV and reserved spot between the playground and pool; which the kids loved. All of the RV spots come with full plug-in electricity and water connections. If you're looking to leave this kid friendly campground, you're in luck! This location is prime with about Avila Beach being about 3-minutes away, Pismo about 15-minutes, and the Avila Barn being walking distance. Like I said, I'm not a camper, but I could see myself staying here again next summer!

The employees are so nice, the ladies in the store, and the guys running around were friendly. They have a well stocked store, and bike rentals that were fun to take on the Bob Jones bike trail. Cons: You are camping right next to the freeway, so it is a little noisy. A lot of kids running around. One night there was a pack of teen or pre-teens out until almost 11:00 being so loud, I was hoping before then someone would come have them quiet down. The showers in the bathroom: there are no "shelves or racks" to put your bottles on and the shower curtains are way too short. The bathroom was completely out of paper towels Friday morning. They don't clean/stock the bathrooms every day. Weeds are growing everywhere, it's just the little things, but it's noticeable. I wish they'd put up fences all the way between all campsites. Flag policy: come on Highway West!! Be consistent!! We were at Costanoa and there was no written flag policy ANYWHERE, and the made us take my No Shoes Nation flag down (Kenny Chesney) and here there was an RV with a military flag and they let them leave that up. The rules had only the American flag was to be flown here -I respect the military-but, the rules are inconsistent at all the Highway West Properties!
