Perched on a hill overlooking the town and the ocean, the park offers some wonderful views--if you're lucky with your site. You might get a beautiful view of the ocean and town, or you might be staring at the side of a neighboring trailer. When booking, you can choose between an ocean view, partial ocean view, or no ocean view--and you'll pay accordingly. Just a short walk to the beach and town. Many restaurants, antique shops, and places to grab a drink. And there is always the beautiful Cayucos dog-friendly beach waiting for you. A solid go-to for us when visiting the central coast.

This is the problem we had on lot 2 with the Facilities aside from the non ada compliant restroom with a non function non tested ADA wheel chair lift. They had employees that never identified herself just leaving her poor dog inside all day is pretty much animal cruelty all day long those dogs barked at everyone Ang everything and the " non identifying lot manager " even apologized to me about the non stop bark. I cannot believe that a manager who do such a thing like that poor dog. It was nonsense the pole light next to the spot we were assigned if so bright it shown through our window like close encounters so we closed the curtain and with that any cross breeze it was just poor development planning and if the pole light have to look like a stadium it makes me question over all security. The owner seems like a good person but the trend with owners especially the over than 80 crowd tend not to spend on upgrades dollar tree curtains no ADA no business being there place has so much potential but this place never again. Their unidentified manager was rude and I can't believe Jerry the owner is allowing such an inept person who has no problem with bullying renters and mingling in our business unidentified I mean really a vest a coat a name badge I didn't know this fucking lady from anyone and that's what irritates me. There was no owner representation and all of a sudden they want to start a cussing match in front of me and my children and I'm not gonna sit in Stan for that. My kids are sitting there listening she's being confrontational police we're called out and because the owner is clearly has a fascination for his lot two manager he decided to take her word for it and we were evicted. I'm not bitter about that. I'm bitter about how hard I tried to have a good vacation with my family and that their managers do not identify themselves and if we were saying something too loud like the people that were partying five things over then that would be different, but no one came over and asked to say you're being loud or whatever we didn't get off our fishing boat till late so I don't understand how this is a trouble we've done nothing but come here and try to support the community and you know something she just let slide because you're on vacation, but I'm no longer gonna be able to sit back and ignore these atrocious ADA compliance including the washing machines and everything else everything is mounted too high. Everything supposed to be mounted 34 inches for accessibility and there's a bunch of things that are incorrect so I'll be very cautious here if you were in the elderly and that it's not a very safe place to use the bathroom and clearly it's not a safe place or they wouldn't have the giant UFO towers shining down and everybody's lights so I'm not sure how things escalated but all I did was try to have a vacation with my family we had one night left and we were leaving in the morning first thing so the audacity of these folks to make us move and we all had to do was stay. One night is ridiculous. I've already paid the money and this lady's personal opinion, even though I didn't even know who this lady was has caused my family now to be looking for another place to stay so I'm not bitter like I said, I just want everybody to know the truth about this place because I used to turn the cheek and say well it's OK because they're such a nice people but not anymore obviously somethings going on they're obviously hurting for money. They certainly don't put anything back into their bathrooms they stink they smell like mold, and they have literally one PVC liner separating the powers from strangers. I have two sons that are under the age of 18. I don't want anybody in that situation. So if you want to use their bathrooms for showering and all that and you have a little ones I strongly recommend it best to use the shower in your RV

We rented a premium site with a dog relief area which was very nice, as shown in my photo. We were right near the front of the park though, so traffic was very heavy and our dogs were consistently entertained by the people walking by our site. There are also small cabins for rent in the park and our site butted right up next to one. It was WAY too close IMO because their windows went directly into our site. Kinda awkward. This park was very busy since we stayed over the weekend and was full of people who were attending a nearby baseball tournament. That meant a lot of kids and some with no supervision. One night I had to go outside to ask kids to stop running through our site because it was well past the quiet hours and disturbing our dogs. I didn't notice any park employee enforcing rules so that was kind of a bummer. The store onsite was very nice and our kids took advantage of the game room, namely pool and the ping pong table. Overall we would stay here again, but request a site that was near the back of the park and maybe off to the side to avoid so much traffic.

You can rent an open space to park your RV or book one of their cabins. The RV spots offer various sizes for larger or smaller RVs and some come with a fire pit, table chairs, and a set of adirondack chairs for lounging. We rented an RV and reserved spot between the playground and pool; which the kids loved. All of the RV spots come with full plug-in electricity and water connections. If you're looking to leave this kid friendly campground, you're in luck! This location is prime with about Avila Beach being about 3-minutes away, Pismo about 15-minutes, and the Avila Barn being walking distance. Like I said, I'm not a camper, but I could see myself staying here again next summer!
