this place is a blast! There is a toddler time on Tuesday's & Thursday's from 10-12. If your child is under 46 inches I highly recommend this. It is 6 dollars to get in for them and parents jump free. You get the whole place! There are lots of foam pits, swings, basketball area, and lots of trampoline space. The place is well kept. There is staff walking around to monitor safety and behavior. You need socks with grips on the bottom. You can buy some there or bring your own!

Little minions foam pit.

This review really teeters between a 3 star and 4 star stance. Because while I certainly enjoyed my experience with my 16 month old, I believe these is room for a little improvement. First and foremost there was no staff checking the "height" limitations that I saw other reviewers pointing out. So with that said, I became that dreaded "hoover parent" dum dum dum! Which, honestly let me say there are too many parents not hovering enough, allowing their children to throw tantrums at the knocked over block towers they built on the trampoline and taking it out on my son who at his age has no real capacity to understand they are not allowed to walk, jump, breathe near said tower (I swear discipline needs to go back to the days of old where you knew the neighbor was updating your parents before you got home of all the bad shenanigans you were up to and that's after they gave you their earful!) I'd personally prefer a designated staff member manning the small children's area, as you constantly have the bigger kids coming in and out leisurely. The small children's area consists of two trampoline runway/slides and a foam pit. That foam pit could definitely use a little TLC. Little kids love to empty out the pit and unfortunately with that you start seeing what lies beneath. I can understand it being a constant battle to clean up that pit in the little minions area. Also, the foam cubes are disintegrating unfortunately and provide you quite the neon confetti mess for your clothes and hair. The wrist band color, time limit system I thought was well organized and on the dot with the hour I paid for. And, HEY that was the first time I saw a staff member arrive in our area, to scope out the said colored wrist patrons were exiting. Overall I was impressed by the price, we went during BOGO and the $23 dollars for an hour for 4 jumpers was a definite steal.

Outlet with view over the trampoline.

Buy your deals on various website to save money. I bough two hours for $13 on "LocalFlavors.com" otherwise it would be $25 for two hours. They keep your liability form in their computer so it's super easy to take your friend's kids or send your own with someone else. There are outlets by the "viewing area" so bring your charger along with your tablet, phone or laptop! Work while watching your kiddos! AC is on so unless you jumping dress little warmer. Grip socks are mandatory - they sell them there. Ca $3.

This Skyzone still stands heads and tails above the rest in my humble opinion…read more We had a reprieve from this location and were frequenting other Skyzone's. (We've been to Nationwide locations with Skyzone.) This location still wows us. It wows us with it's kindness. Both the employees and management are kind, smiling, happy and it's just a wonderful atmosphere to be a part of. The Fuelzone is affordable and delicious if you want a snack or icee or a Pepsi. Especially with a member discount! It's a place where a parent can relax on a laptop or play with their kid equally and it's the closest thing to judgement free parenting I've found. I always say I feel as if this should be the training Skyzone for all of the other ones. The Skyzone atmosphere is second to none. Kindness is literally in the air here, I'm here for all of it.

Unfortunately, if you buy online, there is no kiosk or separate check-in line; you still need to wait in line for an employee to check you in. Tough to do, though, while we were there, as the kids and parents buying tickets were all congregating in the lobby, where even the employee had to shout to be heard. Once we entered the facility, we found the area clean and well-lit. However, the clients--primarily pre-teens and young teens--were specifically targeting our kids, who are all 12 years old girls. The one staff member our kids approached for help did her best, but she was alone on the trampoline floor and appeared thoroughly overwhelmed less than 30 minutes into the GLOW night. Most of the other guests were dressed to impress, but they weren't jumping; they were simply walking around, trying to see others. Our kids came to jump, and each time the bullies approached them, they would turn and leave that area, only to be pursued by kids pulling on their clothing, laughing in their faces, and making animal noises. The situation felt like mob mentality, and it was concerning that there were no adults present to intervene or correct the behavior of their kids. My husband and I were up in the parent lounge, and we were the only adults present for the hour and 45 minutes we were onsite. Ten minutes into our visit, we did intervene on the jump floor and stayed there for a time and were able to eventually get the bullies to leave our kids alone. However, we kept a close eye on them as it became apparent that most parents drop their kids off and leave.

10/10 recommend My Gym birthday parties!…read more My kids and their friends had an absolute blast playing here. The programming is structured without stopping any of the crazy fun. The "leader" of the class had good vocal projection but she wasn't enthusiastic, she just expected the toddlers to listen because she raised her voice. Meanwhile the other staff members very shyly supported her by urging kids to participate. It seemed to me that there is an expectation of compliance potentially carried out by the parents but the staff acted genuinely bored and unmotivated so the idea of active children participating wholeheartedly when the adults aren't modeling it themselves is silly. Something easy that can be done is using first names to get attention, not "my friends" because kids are naturally self-possessed by their own activities, or instituting a specific bell or clapper (something novel) that can mark the time for transitions. Also, if it's a priority in this class to learn/master specific skills, make attempting those skills an expectation & utilize parents and staff members to accomplish that. Say "hey, benny, I noticed you haven't tried zip lining yet! Each kiddo who tries the zip line gets a purple stamp. Wanna try it?" When any activity is accompanied by recognition & enthusiasm, kids are far more likely to participate. One more suggestion: staff should really take turns leading activities. That way, kids know who all the staff are and that they are all authority figures & cooperating together. In a room with lots of adults, kids can get confused or only listen to the one they think is the most in charge. The lack of engagement & confidence was really hard to watch.

Someone mentioned that they should stop offering these, and I agree. I took my 4.5yr old for a trial and I can't say what they do during their classes because in order to see them, you have to literally press your face against the building to see from outside. My coworker took her daughter for a trial class before mine and her experience was not a positive but completely different than mine. Her husband at least got to walk her their daughter back to the area where the kids would be. Whereas I had to just shove mine through the door while they were shouting "red room!" There is no rollcall, they never even asked my daughters name so it's amazing. They knew who she was or why we were even there.

As a resident of Oceanside, I'm generally reluctant to speak negatively about local businesses,…read moreunderstanding the economic pressures they face. However, I'm concerned about the safety and cleanliness at this establishment. The visibility of the young children group is compromised (parents forced to awkwardly peek in from the outside tinted windows), which is unnerving for any parent (see other unfortunate reviews here and on Google). Given the awkward layout of an industrial park floor plan, they have CCTV footage but it's awful. With simple outreach(I work in IT), this is a solved problem... Additionally, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired, with a noticeable odor reminiscent of dirty feet, which we have not experienced in our new gym. I truly hope improvements can be made because I would love to see this business succeed and thrive.
