Gerson and his team are the best! Everything went quickly and smoothly, from my first phone call to the project completion. I first contacted Gerson about mold in my bathroom and leaking from the upstairs toilets. He came out the next day and within three weeks, his team investigated the issues, fixed the leaks, removed and installed new drywall, and so much more. In the process, they also found a third leak in the downstairs toilet and so essentially, renovated the bathroom with new floor tiles and paint. The experience was negative to say the least. Gerson kept us hoping days after days for the work to start... but it never did. He basically wasted several weeks of our time and delayed our timeline. His technique? He bid lowers than the competition and keeps you on the back-burner until he finds a better contract. Initially, he will promise the world, sending numerous pics of his previous work while boasting about his contractor skills. Eventually, you'll become his plan B and he will periodically send you a message to keep you hoping just in case one of his other contracts gets cancelled. This team is the best! Having had a fair share of contractors who just never live up to their word, Gerson and his team were phenomenal. They are prompt, on time, always wear masks , very friendly and went out of their way to ensure they cleaned up every spec before leaving at the end of every day. I loved the first job they did so much that I had them come back to finish two more and every job was perfect. They also have the best prices in the market. They completed an entire nook for me in one day, completed wiring and set up a Tesla charger in a day and finished repairing my entire kitchen in 3 days. We're moving out of our office and needed whiteboards that were glued to the wall to be removed and then painted over. Called Gerson in the morning and he and his crew came into our office to do the work that same evening. We discovered the paint that was brought wasn't the ideal color (it was eggshell white but our office was slightly more beige) and instead of rushing to get the job done anyways, Her son's crew recommended they come back tomorrow so we could have the right paint for the job. They came back the next day (SUPER punctual both times, arrived a few minutes early) and wrapped up the job in just an hour. They retouched some of the other areas around the office (holes drilled in the wall, scratches and scuffs) and I can honestly say the office looks better than when we moved in. Gerson was hired to repair a water damaged ceiling in bathroom. Although it was a small job, he took it and I'm glad he did. They got the permit, fixed support joists, replaced all resilient channels, re-insulated, installed a new fan and ductwork, drywalled and painted. They even fielded my insurance company's requests for different items on the invoicing. The team also fixed a smaller drywall issue on the corner wall in kitchen while fixing the bathroom. Gerson and his crew have completed two job for me - both were done to the highest level of quality and professionalism. In the summer of 2020, they sanded, sealed and repainted the back of my house and did an amazing job bringing new life to the entire facade, going above and beyond in all aspects. In February, 2021 they completely gutted and renovated my bathroom and the transformation has astonishingly great. They did all the demo work (cleanly!), moved and upgraded plumbing, upgraded electrical and lighting systems, moved and improved HVAC, drywalled, waterproofed, tiled, and installed cabinets and all fixtures. I requested a quote for a home maintenance project on the Yelp app. Gerson responded quickly with an estimate and an appointment time. I said "that works for me" and never heard back. I texted again with my address and asking him to confirm, and he did not respond. I left a voicemail and he did not respond. I texted again and he did not respond. I called again and the voicemail box was full. He did not show up at the appointment time. He met with me the same day to review my project and go over details. I was impressed with his professionalism and advice during the meeting as well as the fair price. What was originally going to be a 2 1/2 day job (Based on other estimates) Gerson and crew completed in 1 day. He pulled some guys from other jobs to have the work done for me ASAP. They capped my old gas line and water line and recessed them both into the wall. Closed some huge holes in my wall from the my previous countertop and oven vent. Sealed off and removed 4 outlets and updated the other 6 outlets in the room. Added a new baseboard and repaired the drywall. Removed 7 old light fixtures and updated or removed them as well as updated the switches bringing them up to code. Gerson made some suggestions around lighting that ultimately were the right thing to do and made the new space look even better. His crew were timely and professional and very clean. All COVID-19 precautions were taken throughout the work. At the end of the night there was an issue with my water heater and Gerson sent over someone right away to take a look for me so I wouldn't need to address the issue in the morning. I am more than happy to give Gerson a glowing recommendation professionally and personally. Gerson renovated our kitchen and 2 bathrooms, as well as countless other small projects. Among the things he did was assemble cabinets, lay tiles, electrical work such as recessed lighting and intercom system, remove a wall and refinish the remaining wall, plumbing such as putting in a new toilets, sinks, shower, and bathtubs as well as setting up appliances. i could go on.
