We had Chris check out the car before we bought it and then make sure it was highway-ready for our daughter. Chris was so kind, honest and helpful! He taught my daughter how to change a fuse (should the need arise again), is helping us find good BMW mechanics in Boulder, and provided us with a lot of helpful advice on care and maintenance. Honestly horrible experience as a first time customer and can confidently say I will not be back. They offer complimentary car washes on their site and I confirmed over the phone this was the case. When I dropped my car off and asked about the wash, the girl at the front rudely dismissed it saying they don't do that. I also had to go out of my way to coordinate the complimentary shuttle they also advertise. Aside from the standard Mercedes service, my main ask was for them to look at/fix the left front side marker lamp. The alert that it's out is the first thing that pops up when you turn on the car. The tech called me at 5pm when they were done and when I asked about the lamp he said he "didn't get the message" that I wanted him to look at it (remember it was my primary reason for coming in). He said he could take a look but that I wouldn't be able to pick the car up until the following day. If I wanted to get it the same day I dropped it off as was the expectation (with the side marker lamp still out), I'd have to be there by 5:30pm.....remember he called me at 5pm to let me know they were done. I had to race across town on short notice during rush hour to get the car before they closed. $830 later & side marker lamp still out, the cherry on top was that they returned it to me with the hood still open. Sadly I could go on but these are the highlights. I won't be back & I recommend going to a more professional shop. read more

Hands down the best shop I have ever been too. Honest, professional, and that is a hard find these days. I was introduced to German Auto through a coworker and I have been hooked ever since. In fact, I will not let anyone touch my car except German Auto. you know your in good hands when your Master Mercedes Mechanic has the Mercedes star tattooed on his hand. When I did let another company touch my car for the brakes due to convivence and they come to your home (Brakes To Go) it was an absolute nightmare. Chris and the guys at German Auto were more concerned with my safety than the car and this spoke volumes to me. They did they job (correctly) and I was extremely happy as always. After trying several other mechanics to fix my Audi, I was referred to German auto center from a friend that worked for years for Audi. I had major issues with the engine (that had been worked on by other speedy lube/quick lube places) I was at a loss of what to do with my car. I took it to German auto and they took care of everything from dealing with a warrantee to communicating with Audi while letting me know what was going on the entire time. They were able to locate and fix everything that was going on. These foreign cars must be cared for by foreign professionals. Otherwise, you end up with a car full of issues as I did. I will only have my car repaired by German Auto. Lynn went out of his way to communicate and make sure my car was fixed the right way. My car was also cleaned before picking it up. I took my 2011 BMW go German Auto Center twice and won't be going back. This last time they were supposed to fix an AC which doesn't get cold until after about 5 minutes and the TPMS monitor light staying on along with an oil pan filter. Well after almost $1600 spent, I picked up the car only to be told the TPMS monitor just would not sync after they said they had Discount tire replace a monitor inside one wheel. Also, the next day I drove the car and the AC again didn't cool until after 5 minutes. It's not worth the fight to try to get them to fix these issues if they can't do it right the first time. I took my car to Discount tire myself and they diagnosed the TPMS issue in less than 5 minutes and had it fixed in 30. As for my AC, I'm going to find a different shop that won't take my money and leave my with the same issue I had when I brought it in. Very dissatisfied customer. read more

My brakes were squeaking on my tiguan so took it in for a brake inspection. My brakes seemed to be fine and since they saw that I had a temporary license plate since I just got the vehicle they did a fast inspection for me for free! Len and his team are amazing! I made the mistake of buying a Porsche Cayman online, sight unseen, and without a PPI... Needless to say, the seller didn't disclose all of the damage and "Mickey Mouse" work that he had done to the car, specifically the engine headers and exhaust. Upon arrival Len and Webster took the time necessary to assess the situation and provided me with a complete estimate of the work that needed to be done. Along the way, they found several other concerning things and recommended that they be addressed as well. Unlike most shops, Len sent me pictures of the damage, and repairs along the way. He even would call me with updates and answered the numerous "stupid" questions I had since I've only owned BMW and Mercedes in the past. I can't say enough about how awesome my experience was at GAC. If you need ANYTHING from a simple oil change to a complete engine replacement, do yourself a favor and call Len. These guys are like Allstate, "you're in good hands" I highly recommend GAC! They provide excellent customer service, competitive pricing, and they truly care about you and your car. read more
