This negative review is about her lack of coordination for almost a year that prevented me from receiving treatment. I contacted her multiple times and through various means (emails, fax and phone calls) as she was always delayed in her response to my inquiries. She claimed that her delay was due to her part-time work schedule. In addition, she consistently maintained it was my insurance providers fault. Yet when I would contact my insurance provider they claimed they never received anything from the doctors office. I literally kept a log of how and when I would contact her as well as my insurance provider. Alas, I finally gave up after a year of chasing treatment which worked out in my favor. I found another orthodontist by the name of Dr. Hickory, who has an amazing staff. Specifically, the Director of Operations Ms. Christy Van Ness was able to see me on my day off and literally just a few weeks later I was approved by my insurance carrier for treatment. Plus, parking at Dr. Hickory's office is free unlike the Orthodontic Studio. I wonder if the doctor is aware of the multiple lapses in assistance? She is loosing business as at least one other patients similar negative experience has been documented here in another Yelp review.

He has not closely followed the protocol for Invisalign, but Dr. Mina has been an absolute gem: giving gentle encouragement or matter-of-fact redirection as needed. Due to an issue with my bite, I kept biting my lip, which caused swelling and scar tissue. It became noticeable when I ate and talked, and it honestly made me shy away from social interactions. I kept putting off seeing an orthodontist, and after this experience, I truly wish I hadn't. My free consultation was better than I could have imagined. From the initial phone intake to the stunning, luxurious office, every single staff member was friendly, caring, and genuinely invested in making me feel comfortable. The entire experience felt thoughtful and personalized, and I walked away feeling fully informed about my care and next steps. Jessica handled my intake and X-rays and made the entire process completely stress-free. She took the time to get to know me as an individual, asked thoughtful questions about my concerns and hopes, and was clearly knowledgeable and capable. Viviana, the practice manager, is truly an angel on earth. She radiates warmth and kindness and clearly loves what she does--it shows in every interaction. I had absolutely no reservations or fear because of her care and reassurance. And Dr. Mina... I don't even have the words. She was honest, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. I never once felt pressured into an expensive or unnecessary treatment. We reviewed my X-rays together, she answered every question, and we came up with a plan that was conservative, affordable, and effective. They also referred me to an oral surgeon to evaluate the scar tissue on my lip to determine whether it would resolve on its own or needed to be addressed. That level of care and foresight truly meant so much to me. I walked in terrified and resigned to the idea that I might need braces. Instead, after discussing my options, I ordered retainers. Viviana did my scans and talked me through everything so I felt completely at ease. They even put in a rush order so I wouldn't have to be uncomfortable any longer than necessary. I am beyond grateful for this team and will absolutely be a lifelong patient. If you're considering orthodontic care--don't go anywhere else. Just go to Kumra Orthodontics.

I have been receiving treatment at Rad Orthodontics (at 3 of their various offices) since I was…read morearound 11 years old. I am now 23. I have received excellent orthopedic work from this practice. Their staff (particularly Jebi, and every receptionist and prep staff I've ever me there) has also been incredibly kind and helpful to me. Dr. David Rad always takes the time to answer any questions about treatment and always makes me feel comfortable. Rad Orthodontics also offers payment plans to aid in paying high fees for things such as invisalign. My only complaint is that Dr. Mehdy Rad has upset me to the point of tears two times when I was still under 18. Once, when I was around 14, I believe, Dr. Mehdy was removing glue from my teeth with a drill and asked me to move my tongue out of the way. He did not specify which direction to move it. I could not remember where exactly he was drilling, so I just tried to move my tongue down. Without waiting more than 10 seconds, he said "Ok, don't move it" **and proceeded to put the drill back in my mouth, against my tongue** My mother was sitting with me and witnessed this. I did not bleed, but this scared me, and hurt very badly. To this day, I am afraid whenever a dental drill goes anywhere near my mouth. This experience was traumatizing. It is just one of example of Dr. Mehdy's lack of kindness and patience. There was still glue left on my teeth after this. Several years later, I still could not handle the feeling of the drill in my mouth or on my teeth. During another appointment when Dr. Mehdy was using the drill, I stated that I needed to stop. He stopped, and then said: "I have hundreds of patients every week. None of them besides you has a problem with this." His reply was invalidating and rude. My problem with dental drills started because of him. In general, Dr. Mehdy Rad does good orthopedic work; his unkindness does not affect this in any way. But he is condescending and impatient. I would not recommend his services, especially to anyone who might be sensitive, like kids. Dr. David Rad is much kinder.

The…read morelocation of this practice is convenient but since it's in a shopping center parking can be full in front of the office but no big deal. The staff were so nice when we came into the office and welcomed us in. The wait was not long and they gave me a tour of the place so my daughter could feel at home if we decided to go with them. Dr. Levine was super knowledgeable and detailed with the consultation. He has 30 years of experience and my friend told me she went there years ago and they did such a great job with her teeth. Reason we did not go with them is the distance from where we live. I wanted to shoot my shot because I heard nothing but great things about this place. Pricing is better than North Potomac Ortho too. Definitely shop around before committing, it makes a difference. This would have been first pick if it wasn't far from home.

I genuinely looked forward to all of my appointments and enjoyed the Invisalign treatment process under Dr. Lavine's direction. Every staff member, tech and the doctor himself were all incredibly friendly, efficient and thorough in their explanations and actions. My questions were always heard and addressed. Dr. Lavine even went as far as to help remove my Invisalign attachments before my wedding, and re-attach them after so that they wouldn't show in my wedding photos. Everyone in this office shares a great attention to detail and they truly look out for the well-being of their patients!

Dr. Bruno was able to help my sister and so I decided to do a consultation with Dr. Bruno -- this would have been my 3rd consultant with an orthodontist for my teeth. Dr. Bruno was the only one to suggested that I could get a healthier smile and straighten my teeth without teeth removal, pushing back my teeth or oral surgery (I had a very noticeable underbite). I am almost done with my treatment and it is the best money I have ever spent. My teeth and actual bite are 100% better than before and my underbite is barely noticeable now. I can't be happier with the results even though I am not to my final results yet. I actually live out of state and make the 1000+ mile trip to Dr. Bruno's office a few times a year to see her in office. Her treatment for me is worth every penny and all the miles.
