LAFAYETTE COLLISION IN MARQUETTE MI…read more I just got my Subaru SUV back (March 2026) from the shop and I'm glad to say that I can strongly recommend Nick and his staff because of the excellent job they did. If I had known that it was going to look so good when we picked it up I might have had a used car sales ad ready to post to reflect the increased value. There are several reasons for an excellent rating. The detail of the work was highly professional, and my wife expressed it best when she looked over the exterior and then as we drove home when she looked closely at the interior. Her statement said at all: "It's obvious that the people at Lafayette Collision take pride in their work." Our experience from start to finish was exceptional, and there was no complaint to be made at any time. In this instance the owner, Nick, always was involved from our first meeting to get the estimate up until we got the keys back and departed. I make it a point to try to get three estimates for any major job that I have to have done. When I got the third estimate, I saw that the others were higher and, in conjunction with talking to the employees, I got the distinct impression that things were being padded. So naturally for the sake of my insurance company and my future rates, I went with LC as the one that gave me the best price and confidence that the job would be done correctly. Another plus is that during the week that Lafayette Collision had the car, we received emails about the status of the work and the expected date of return as was originally promised. The customer service also included a personal response by phone from Nick to an inquiry that I had left on voice mail. I would say that such service is a rarity in this day and age. So for those of you who like a company that knows what it is, I think this information would help you to decide if you're ever having to get car damage repaired. BTW, Nick threw a little freebie in for us with regard to a window chip that we did not expect but greatly appreciated. It's that type of consideration that gets people to return in the future when the service is needed as well as make legitimate referrals.

I was met with courtesy and professionalism from entry to finish. During this time of COVID 19 I…read moreexpected a longer wait. Was pleasantly surprised! Nick called me himself to give update and time of finish. The repair was perfect!! I highly recommend Lafayette Collision!

went in for a simple $200 dimple chip repair, got my Jeep back with cloudy resin and a chip that is…read moremore noticeable then it was before, the resin has a lip on it that is higher then the face of the glass. clearly whomever did my repair did not know how to do the repair. I received a second opinion from peninsula glass and was confirmed that the repair was done improper and now my window is no longer reparable and must be replaced at a cost of $500. The guy working dropped A bunch of F bombs on me and told me to just leave without paying, then went into their system and deleted my service record in What I can only assume was an attempt to hide that they did the bad work. Called management and was told the store manager was on vacation and would reach out to me when he returned, it had been 2 weeks sisnce then today so I called and tride to talk with Tom (the manager) about it and got told "we didn't charge you what's the issue?" (Well Tom, I have to pay $500 now instead of $200 because your worker did bad work.) He then immediately hung up on me for "cussing" because I said "the issue is your Ruined my window with shity Work" I would never trust this location, bad work, disrespectful, and dishonest! And for the record this location also had to reinstall our Subaru window years ago 3 times just to do it right so this isn't my first issue here. And safelite in Madison Wisconsin had repaired all of our fleet trucks at wave communications for years and we have had multiple repairs, I am well aware of what the quality should be. I will be following up in small claims. Trying to save other from dealing with this, luckily I one who can afford this.

I have been waiting 3+ weeks for the install of my rear window to be finished . Very fishy excuses…read more. Broken parts . Re-ordering . Very poor service .
