First of all, the Hispanic male that came from another shop to work while the regular employee was on maternity leave f@ck up my claim with Geico. He was supposed to fix or work on the (front and rear bumper, transmission, and electricals), but this dude ONLY fix the front and rear bumpers. This moron NEVER did an actual diagnosis on the engine because he told Geico that the undercarriage looked good. WTF.... That's not a diagnosis. Long story short, I fought for Geico to tow my vehicle to another transmission shop because it has a slipping transmission. 2. Geico had to pay almost $3,000 in parking lot fees. 3. This dude never diagnosed my entertainment system. 4. I had to pay $1,000 deductible for bumpers that were the least of my problems. This company was Horrible from the start. read more

Hit by a deer Dec 2. This shop is recommended shop of my insurer. My estimated completion date was Dec 29. Now it's February 14. Nearly three months for repairs. They cite trouble getting parts. I understand that, it's been in the news. They don't seem to understand it though. I've been given at least five different dates for completion. I'm tired of the false promises and I have little faith in the quality of the work. It's been quite extensive and if they can't provide me realistic expectations on time it will take to do them, then I doubt how well they know to them at all. read more

Dropped my vehicle off on Wednesday the 11th of January for a small dent (insurance claim) at 9:30 in the morning. Was told at the time "Early next week" it would be returned. Proceeded to call them back Monday the following week for an update, was told then " I'll have to talk to the tech and call you back", to which they never called back. I call again on Tuesday the 17th of January for another update, only to be told " it's just now being disassembled". I wait until Thursday the 19th for yet another update ( I had to call again) and told " it's in the paint shop now, and would be returned on Monday the following week". I call today January the 23rd (Monday) to be told the window company can possibly (not sure) replace/set the window later this evening possibly tomorrow. I have now spent over 515$ on a rental, almost two weeks of it sitting in the shop with no end in sight. By this point I'm disappointed, dissatisfied, and spent a whole paycheck on a rental with no end date and no return date. Avoid this place at all costs, they do not care about their customer and won't give a clear answer on when the car will be finished. I was not personally a customer but after hearing the act of kindness given to my mother, I had to come on and rave. My mom bought her van in 2002 and has been maintaining and loving it ever since. Being an older car, she has been to places to have work done and has been scammed and embarrassed for wanting to fix a car that "isn't worth it." So THANK YOU Gerber Auto for going above and beyond and value her car as much as she does. And also making her feel like a VAULED customer! Not only did the employees take the extra steps for cosmetic purposes (that weren't exactly necessary); When her time came to go to work, Jarron told her not to worry and gave her a ride. They were very thorough and took care of every detail, making the whole process quite painless, from getting the rental, communicating with the insurance company, making sure every scratch and dent was fixed, to dropping of the rental car! Excellent work and communication. Only issue I had was probably with a misunderstanding I had with the Insurance company. They gave me $125 "appearance credit" for one of the scratches from vandalism on my car. I was under the impression if they could buff it out they wouldn't sand and repaint, not just leave it alone. That was the most minor scratch from the vandalism. The repairs they did were A++++ read more
